So it is! I love DDR, especially songs like this. I only own Supernova and Extreme2, though. D:
I love original fairytales. I mean, don't get me wrong, I adore disney, but I like the darker original versions where there's rarely a happily ever after. ;D *weirdo*

I couldn't agree more XD
Grim's fairy tales are my fav.
Speaking of Disney, Did you see the commercial for that new movie that takes some cheesey fairy tale prince and princess and puts them in the real world (They literally fall into a hole as cartoons and pop up out of a manhole as humans in the middle of new york)
It pokes fun at the cheesy fairy tale character styles of Disney (even though it made by them).

Yeah, I did! It stars that girl from The Office, right? I was like 'OMG. MUST SEE. >:D' I'm gonna take my little 5 year old cousin so we can blend in to the crowd of toddlers. XD
It's so weird how more parodies of fairytales are being made these days then actual fairtytales. D: It's sort of sad, actually...

Ain't that the truth ;_; But I guess there's only so many fairy tales that are suitable for children right now. I'm surprised no one has written any new Fairy tales. You'd think someone could have written a new story 0_0 And I don't mean the silly little kids book versions, Like a full blown story.
I haven't read all of the Grimm stories yet. But I've been eyeing this large ornate book at the bookstore that has every one in it.

But, most of the fairy tales are always butchered into happy endings anyways, I don't see why they wouldn't make an exception for others. o3o
I've read most of the originals, but not all. The big book I have only has a select version, as it has introductions to each and how they usually change with cultural fluxes. ;D

I sat down and watched all my old Disney movies this summer, and I realized how different it is watching them now at eighteen and when I was a child. I laughed at how short the final "Battle" against the villian was and how silly there romance was. I mean at a single glance, or a few words exchanged these characters found there one true love (if there in love in that short a time there probably just in love with your looks) I know that when I date, I have to be comfortable with a guy (Usually speaking to him on a day to day basis). I do believe in finding your one true love or soul mate. I believe that no matter who you are there is someone out there who will love you unconditionally.
But at first glance...its kind of hard to believe -_-
Thats why Disney fairy tales are great! But for young children. I want the darker and more involved version of a fairy tale.

It's ridiculously hard to believe. But it must be very convenient for authors, so you don't have to detail how they fall in love emotionally, just the outcome of such, so I can see why it's used so often.
I believe in true love, though. A lot of people I know don't, but I like believing that there is such an emotion that can both cripple and empower. Besides, I think it defines some people by how they handle their love for others.

I took a class this school year and it was called "Living on your own" , And we did some stupid romance unit on how to find a boyfriend or girlfriend. The one thing the teacher emphasized was that we shouldn't believe that there is one person out there who is meant for us. She said that there are many possible companions for everyone. I don't know why, but this made me mad because I hated the thought of having multiple people that could be my husband. I rather have the idea that there is one man out there for me and I will know it when I find him.
I probably seem stupid for having such a high ideal, but when I get married I want to be 100% sure that the guy I am marrying is someone who I can be in perfect harmony with.
The only high standard I have is that I refuse to marry someone who drinks alcohol. I just rather not take the chance that this person could be an alcoholic 0_0.

Well, I think there are plenty of people that you might be compatible with, but only one person who you'll find true happiness with. I just think she meant to approach dating like every man might be the man, and of course he might not be perfect. D:
But I know what you're saying about Alcohol, though. That and cigarettes grind my gears, so I don't think I'd be able to handle either, or both. D: I'm just too much of a biology nerd. I'd go up and be like 'THIS IS WHAT'S HAPPENING TO YOUR LUNGS! YOUR POOR CILLIA! D:' or 'GAH! LOOK WHAT'S HAPPENING TO YOUR LIVER! *DIAGRAM* IT'S POISON, YOU NUMB-NUK!'
I just can't see the thrill of either. I'm not going to single-handedly stop every person from having a drink or a cigarette, I just wouldn't function with someone who couldn't function without those.

OMG you make so much sense~! Thats the kind of thing I wanted to retaliate with during that discussion.
I just always hated the thought of marrying someone who drinks or smokes, A. Its gross, even if they drink only at parties, B. It could leave to an addiction or abusive relationship.
So instead of taking that risk I choose not to.
But yes I highly agree with your thought on compatibility, there should be one person on the planet we can find true happiness with. I Hope I find him ^w^~!

I know, don't I? I have an awful habit of lecturing people on this. I know it's rude, but what they're doing is icky. D:
Forget about marrying them, I wouldn't be able to get past the first date. DX Like, having an odd drink here and there is fine, everyone does that, but even slightly in excess triggers my need to lecture.
Me tooo. I've never gone out with anyone before, due to my eccentric-ness, but I'm sure I'll find someone who can tolerate me one day. <3

I've never gone out with anyone either, I've been asked a few times but I always rejected them out of sheer on the spot nervous-ness. They ask, and then I need about three days to collect my thoughts. But I always blurt out no, I guess its because guys ask me at the worst times. Like when I have a crush, or am stressed out beyond belief (Like I was asked out when I was A>Getting my Drivers license, B. Choosing a college ,C.Trying to balance school and my first job.
I think I rejected him out of the sheer fact that I was suffering growing up stress already, I didn't need another thing that would force me to act my age.

I was asked once, during a chemistry experiment which was really frustrating, since I was the one organizing my group. He asked, I screamed for the Sucrose and went off myself to get something. I think I was way too caught up in my needed chemicals to consider. @ [email protected]
Other then that, my life has been pretty guy-free, which is fine with me. :3 I think there's time in the future, when most guy's I know finally get out of that 'poor me' stage.
