I love fruit. My whole life I've eaten a minimum of 1 Granny Smith apple (the rest are too sweet for my liking). I've also eaten loads of kiwis, mangos, and seedless navel oranges). If I see something I don't recognize, it usually winds up in my grocery carts. I remember a peculiar fruit, with a sticker on it that said UGLI, though I don't know if that was the company or the fruit. It was ugly, though. Tasted like an orange, only sweeter. Simply amazing. The best fruit ever. Shame I can't find them anynmore.On my last trip to the grocery store, I wound up with a plumcot (plum+apricot), green plum, a mango combined with a nectarine, and a nectarine combined with a honeydew melon. They were all yummy, though I haven't tried the honeydew nectarine yet. I've also had grapefruits bigger than my head (way too sour) and something that was pointy and orange, as well as starfruit (mmmm)

Username Censored-Those are good. I don't know the name, though. Orange bell peppers are yummy, too. I like avacados, but only in guacamole or sushi. Not plain.

Chuchila-Pomegranates are yummy. I used to take an already disassembled one for lunch, but once people grew bored of teasing me I needed something else. My dad also puts fruit in the worst places. My apples and ripe oranges go in the bottom of the bottom drawer, and his nasty mangoes (seriously, the ones we get around here are crap) and over-ripe oranges go on top. Bleh.

Kinda....I was afraid to try lychee flavored candy...if that counts. Never actually saw a real lychee either...but I'd probably fear it some.

Does coconut count? I had fresh coconut once and it was gross!;_; I was mislead by all the yummy shredded sweetened stuff I'd had before.

Was that spiky orange one called a kiwani melon? Because my friends and I just tried one of those XP It's all swirly yellow and orange on the outside, green goopy stuff with tons of seeds on the inside. We ate it straight, on crackers, mixed it with water, and froze it (we're weird) and it didn't tsate that great any way. XD Microwaving it was fun, though. I don't really know what the weirdest fruit I've ever had is, because I don't know what fruits are considered weird everywhere. And is cactus a fruit or a vegetable?

LennaHime-Yes, starfruit are yummeh. I've never had fresh coconut without it being mixed into a dish of some sort, but coconut milk is disgusting.

Varicose-That's my opinion as well...but some people don't like new things, as last year I scared the hell out of a 5th grader with my lunch (it was California rolls and some fruit...I think starfruit...not that weird, IMO). Yeah, I'm not too popular...is green yogurt really that bad? It's lime flavor!

elanifave-Yeah it was, I think. I know it was exactly what you described, and didn't taste that good.

kin no megami-Pomelo? I just googled it and it asked me if I meant that. Anyway, it looks like the giant grapefruit thing I ate once. Did it taste like that?

Yep it's a GIANT mexican grapefruit.....pretty good actually. A lot of the white stuff inside (the part you can't eat.)

I went through a lot of sugar on that thing...I hate grapefruit.

• I've eaten a lot of different fruits. I mean, I know people who haven't even heard of or tried most of the stuff I've eaten. XD Starfruit, tangerines, lychee, Asian pear, papaya, Concord grape (I think...that's what they're called, the skin peels off when you bite into it XD), Korean melon (I see it's called "dua gan" on some sites...I only know the Korean name for it ^^; ) and persimmons are just a few.
  
  The worst one I have ever tried was durian. It smells so bad. :( One of my cousin's wives likes it, because she grew up eating it.

I'm not that big on fruit really. I eat it if I'm forced to, but if there's no one around to say "Eat Fruit NOW!" ... I'll happily live without it.
There are a few I like though, Mangos, Mangusteens and Rambutans are pretty much the only ones I like.
I've always wanted to try a Dragon Fruit.

They just look funky, but they're really pricey here and I probably wouldn't like it and it would be a waste of money >.<
I chickened out of trying Durian when I lived in Indonesia. If it smells like a cross between rotten eggs and vomit, I'm sure it's not supposed to be digested... even if lots of people say it's nice x.x
Best I've tasted would be Mangosteen, they're lovely, but hard to find nice ones in England ._.

Worst would be star fruit. I thought something that looked pretty and star like should taste pleasant, not horribly sour o_0

Torikat-I've had 3 of them (2 if a Tangelo (tangerine+grapefruit) doesn't count as a tangerine). I've heard a lot about durians smelling gross, but I still want to try one.

Ebil-I've had dragon fruit flavored drinks and such, and I really want to try one. They're pretty as well.

I'm eating a honeydew nectarine thing right now. It's yummy!

  Tangelos are hybrids...so they're just cousins of tangerines. ^^

Zweres-I've honestly never heard of lychee, but I just googled them and they look tasty. I'll have to find a place to get them.

ToriKat-It surprises me as well. Clementines are very common here, but that's about it.

Down here we've found starfruit and Dragonfruit.
Dragonfruits, while pretty (Vibrant red and spikey, with grey flesh + black speckley seeds), taste pretty... ick. Like, a watered down kiwi. o_o;

Starfruits are a vibrant yellow, and spikey, with vibrant green flesh.
You know how a cucumber has its seeds surrounded by its flesh?

I kinda like passionfruit... it's really strange though.

I hate cantaloupe. And most melons, actually.

I like most sour fruits, so long as they're juicy.

I don't know the english name for it but in Chinese it's called 'fan si liu' it looks like a wrinkly apple or pear and inside it is dry and filled with seeds throughout. ><

my mom ate this thing once. I don't know what its called in english but it looked really weird. it was egg shaped and the skin was like kinda scaley like a snake. it kinda looked like a grenade. 0___o it was weird.

I once tried this fruit that looked like a mushroom o.O it tasted like a peach and pear together. too bad I was soo ful or I would have eaten ALOT more.
