Ugh I have had a ton of email like that. I always respond and ask them all kinds of questions, they keep responding and then give up because they know I'm on to them. The sad thing is that a lot of people fall for those kinds of things and get their whole life savings taken.

Wow, I can't believe people would actually spend time writing this...for what? to get a few kicks out of it and to see how many people would fall for this? maybe if you contacted her, she would have asked for your bank information or something... I don't know how the transferring works. I've gotten a few pms on gaia saying that they were part of the administration and saying that my account has been hacked so to get it back I have to give them my password. I've never received anything like this though... But yesterday I got a call and this robotic voice message tells me I won this cruise to Cuba and they told me to press 9 to confirm or to press 8 to draw myself from the list. I just hung up. My dad said that if I pressed 9, a few days later i would receive a crazy phone bill... :)

Ha ha I would have been like "What kind of crap forwards are they send now." :Keoko hates forwards with a passion:

Well at least you didn't fall for the scam. If I don't know the person sending me the E-mail I delete right away :3 I personally don't care for e-mail I prefer IM.
I would often get E-mails from the "Gaian Admin" saying that I had won 18k and a item off my wishlist. I just needed my password and username. I had to fight the urge to not to fill in the forum with evil responses. But I held onto my niceness and simply deleted it.

Silly people

Heh. "fasting and prayed over it..."

What a delightfully entertaining load of crap. That's a hilarious scam... it always befuddles me, however, that people exist who fall for that sort of thing.

"my father took me so special"

XD

Priceless.

I hate scams. Mostly because of the time it steals from me to actually read it. Some people really have to much time on their hands :x

Thankfully, I have yet to receive any e-mails as stupid as that, probably because I only sign up to sites with a spare address and what not. . . My dad gets them all the time, though, particularly from Africa. Saying something about a possible family member of ours having gotten into an accident, so they need to contact the next of kin. . . xD It's rather funny how some people are so desperate for money to waste their time doing something like that, when they could be working or doing something more productive. Then again, it's even sadder how some people are stupid enough to fall for scams like that. ._.

The most scams you will ever see from are from Nigeria.
