Make some be limited/rare/first come first serve/only returns once in a blue moon type items. Like, every holiday there's a holiday based one, and maybe an old fan favourite.

Well, you'll be a fellow employee of the shop, basically. The good doctor's lab assistant who helps him test things and has a creature of her own, for testing purposes. Patrons can't complain any more than they can about someone who gives their friends free art but charges big gold for it to strangers in the regular art shops. :3 If they do complain, ima just make their pet oogleh. 250g? x-x But... but... ridiculous amounts of pixelling, in the course of that egg's life~ D: ;; I could do that for just the egg state, and charge them more for each injection or change, depending on how much work the change would take or how rare the item, though, I guess, and charge for each life stage growth.. but if I were just doing 250g for the whole life of the pet, I'm screwing myself. xD;; Gonna be working with fairly complex creatures that I can't pixel that quickly, especially with college. I mean, I wanna be cheaper than the other shops, but the other shops are a bunch of rehued template junk, on the whole. This stuff's custom, babeh~ D:

But see, if I go selling a bunch of base eggs, I'm gonna have people wanting upgrades and stuff a lot. I wanna limit the actual amount of eggs out there, until I'm more confident and able to finish people's updates quickly. So I could only sell the base egg along with a certain amount of guaranteed-to-be-pixelled life stages, for a fairly high price, only drawing in a few customers. << Or I can finish more stages of yours and my pets and show them as samples, for an auction, to see how much people wanna give for that.

Give the pet a guaranteed hatch (infant), toddler, and child or some such. But any and all upgrades or injections or whatever cost. And stages will take several months of waiting, unless someone wants thier pet to grow earlier, in which case they must bribe. But certain stages are by auction only, kinda deal.

I'll work it all out, taking some of that into consideration. Our own starter eggs are probably gonna grow at an increased rate, compared to how the 'real' ones will grow, since I wanna get the samples done and make more items and stuff. But that just means quicker gratification for us. x3

This is -exactly- why I always put off going to the fecking hospital. Useless doctors gave me nothing, nor did they know what it was. Just that it was severe, a bug, and to let it run it's course. And mom is still making me pack and do heavy lifting and right now it hurts to even move or breathe. W00t. Oh, and the room is spinning and my tongue feels like paper. Huzzah.
