Well, I've tried before, and I get the idea of the really light strokes, building up the values and stuff, but I always have the pen malfunction on me and leave splotch or my patience gives out. ;o;

Well, like, with regular black Bic pens, I'll get a little bit of ink gunk on the end randomly that smears messily. ;-; Or with the micron super fine tipped ones, I'll just screw up. Dx

Awww. I find pen such an awesome medium. Work way better in it than pencil. The only draw back being no eraser. Cause 'pen erasers' never do what they say they will, truly. D8

Hai, it looks really great, Willy's art being a good example of how nice it can look. <3 But it's hard to go away from the control I have with pencil as far as erasing a ton. >> Though I usually pencil first and ink over it, if I'm gonna use ink, 'cause potential for screwing up with just using ink from the start is, lyk, massive. xD

Very true, but I hate inking over pencil. I like ink cause it causes me to concentrate and work way harder than sloppy, 'oh, I can just erase and fix', theory I pertain with pencil.[

Ah, true about the concentrating. >> But when I concentrate too much, I make too many "oops, lawl" mistakes. D: </3 You should see me drawing with my tablet. xD I draw the same stroke like 15 times undoing it before I get it the way I want it to look. </3
