::I waved to Juri "i promise, ill take care of his wounds the best I can" She went inside.
In the alley, i heard what he said and blushed "Uhm, I don't remember anything.." I jumped out of his arms and hurried on "I need to dress your wounds, we should hurry back to my house... plus, arent you starving??" i smiled at him::

Kane crossed his arms and stared after her.
"Alright...alright." He muttered.
"But I'm getting it sooner or later...." He smiled and followed Risa as she hurried on to her home. He was starving..but he was willing to wait...he could be paitent....very paitent if the occasion called for it....he shoved his hands in his pockets and went along whistling behind her...still frightful of what her mother was going to say....he almost thought seriously about just telling her mom that Risa almost got run over...but that wouldn't have worked out either...so he did what he always did...hoped for the best.

((Okies, that's it for me tonight..it's almost three here and I have to get up early...*yawns* 'Night))

We reach my home and I open the front door and walk in, Oreo greets us with a mew and runs off tackling a feather "come on in , my mom works nights, so don't worry." I walk into the living room "you wanna eat first or get your damage calculated?" i smile at him, brushing off what he said before about 'getting it sooner or later'. I fold my wings neatly behind me and stand, not wanting to get any blood in the furniture. "Actually, now that I think about it, we should each get showers to clean off all this damn blood" i smile at him nervously. "it'll be easier to clean you up if youre already, well, clean" Misty rubs against his leg and lets out a deep meow. the house was warm and welcoming and smelled of roses, we had them set out on the counter, they were my moms favorite.::

Kane looked around. He shrugged and guessed he wasn't going to die after all..her mom wasn't home.
He smiled as he flopped his shoes off in the doorway.
"I'll let you decide." He stretched out feeling his back pop again and sighed heavily, brushing off the dried blood that had been on his chin.
"Yeah..now that you mention it...that might make things easier, you go ahead..I'll keep Twiddle-Dee and Twiddle-Dumb down here busy." He scooped Misty into his arms scratching under her chin talking to her about knocking him over everytime that she rubbed against him.

I smile at him "alright, ill get in. When i'm finished you can then get in and ill make you some dinner, hows that sound?" i smile warmly and head upstairs. I go onto my room and grab a towel and look through my pajamas "i've gotta have something for him to wear thats clean...ah ha!" i pulled out a rather large blue t-shirt with a cat on it, i nodded then pulled out some loose-fitting pajama bottoms. I didn't think he'd mind, he'd probably be happy to be out of those filthy, torn and bloody clothes. The pajama shirt had slits cut out of the back, but again, I didn't think he'd mind.
I grab a set of pajamas for myself and some undies and a towel and head into the bathroom, closing the door silently behind me. I take off my clothes carefully; my wings still ached from hitting them against the wall. I got in, and washed my blood-stained feathers the best I could, and luckily got it all out.::

((Yea, I'm probabyly going to get off for about an hour and then get back on so don't spazz when I leave, that won't be for a while though XDD))

"Alright, take your time." He watched her as she went up the stairs and then turned back to the cat, bouncing it in his hold like a child.
"You know what whiskers? I think she likes me." He got only a meow in response.
"Oh so that's how you feel about it huh? We'll see..we'll see." He headed off into the kitchen to find a seat where he wouldn't ruin anything.

::I finished up quickly and slipped into my pajamas and came trudging down the steps, my long hair up in a towel, wings out and free and clean. "Alright Kane, so this shower wont go in vain, i laid out some clothes of mine you can wear on the top of the toilet in the bathroom, along with a towel." i smile at him, playing with my cats, who oddly seemed to like him alot- they only really liked me and my mother. "ill be down here, just yell if you need anything" I plop down on the couch and stretch, yawning- it was around 11 o'clock now and we did have school tomorrow, but I wasn't too worried about it.::

[LOL okay, ill just havta keep myself occupied by inking all the pics ive been drawing from the story. I even drew Zahara and Yumi ^.^]

"Alright." He called setting Misty on the chair that he'd found.
"Okay Tweedle-Dee, take care of Alice while I'm gone." He nodded to Risa as he headed upstairs.
"Thanks you really don't have to do all that though." Frankly he was worried about the clothes that she'd laid out...he might end up walking home in a pink sundress...then how his reputation would suffer....he grimaced as he found the bathroom. He closed the door behind him and stripped out of his dirty, bloody clothes and ran the water as hot as he could stand it. Kane looked to the toilet and could have died....he held up the shirt a moment and laughed...clearly if this were ever to happen again, he was stowing a change of clothes in Risa's bushes.
((XDD I really want to see your take on Dracula... got to go load dishes,I'll be back in a few minutes))

::I stand up, hearing the shower go on and i scratch my nose "i hope hes not angry with me..." I go into the fridge and pull out the ingredients for a muso soup meal. I whipped it up, making it just as he liked it and let it simmer on the stove. I gave both Misty and Oreo treats-they were being so nice to our guest, I just had to reward them with something. I went up to my room while that simmered on the stove and bent over, furreling[ i made that word up LOL] my hair with the towel one last time, to help to dry it. I sat down at my desk and brushed it- it was so darn long and sometimes a hassle to keep. I was grateful that I wasn't has hurt as I originally thought I was. My wings were still a bit sore and a few scratches on my wrists, but nothing my mom would notice. You could probably only see the wounds on the top of my wings from looking under the feathers, which no one but me does. I hung up my towel and sat back down, continuing to brush my long hair::

Minutes later Kane made his way back down the stairs looking quite.........emasculated. He had his clothes under one arm and the towel slung around his neck, he tested his lip with a finger and flinched when it stung...he was no more the worse for wear than if he'd been in another fight, stomach was a little sore but nothing he couldn't handle...he stepped into the kitchen glad to see that Risa was looking much better.
"Great choice...you know I aboslutely love cats..." He smirked as he shook his head and rolled his eyes.

::I stirred the soup and let it cool on the stove, turning the gas off "oh, Kane, you have more wounds than I thought.. Please, sit and ill fix you up and show me where it hurts." I grab the first aid kit from the closet and come back into the livingroom. My wet hair is now back in a ponytail and i kneel on the floor infront of him, noticing i should have given him shorts to wear instead of long bottoms because of the cuts. "uhm, do you mind if i found a pair of shorts for you to wear?" I took his dirty clothes from him and set them on the coffee table. "Sorry about he shirt, it was the biggest one i could find" i giggle a bit, thinking he looks adorable with a cat on him. He didnt seem like a cat person, but I didnt judge or ask questions. He was a softie inside and he knew it.::

He waved his hand and 'pff'-ed.
"Eh it's nothing really...just....my gut hurts...can't tell if it's from the hits I took or the hunger..." He stuck his tounge out goofily and scratched the back of his head. He sat as she asked him to and smiled.
"You're always so fussy Risa, but nevermind me, how are you? I saw the blood on your wings and--" He paused.
"Oh yeah......can I freak out now? I forgot completely..." He shrugged off the shorts question and smirked.
"I just think you like seeing my legs...my hairy, smexy legs..." He looked down at the smiling cat face that greeted his stare and chuckled.
"S'alright...so long as I don't have to go home in it."

::I smile at him "youre too modest... are you cut anywhere?? hows the wound on your thigh from before?"
I smiled at him "my wings are alright, they were really stained, luckily i cleaned them before th blood settled in and stained, oh and yes, permission to freak out granted." I smile at him "I'm..kinda suprized youre not disgusted by them, or scared of me, like everyone else..." I sat indian style on the floor in front of him and yawned.
I laugh "Oh yeah, those legs are so hot <3" she winked at him and laughed and stood up "you can sleep here if you want, id hate for you to put those nasty clothes back on..."
"Well lets eat ok?" she walked into the kitchen and poured the soup into 2 bowels and gave one to him and sat on the couch next to him "i hope you like it" i smile and eat mine.::

He shook his head.
"Not that I know of, and if I don't know of it then it can't be all that bad." He smiled and looked them over, he knew that when Abel had hurt his wings they had bothered him quite a bit, but he didn't notice any symptoms like that from Risa, he nodded.
"I'm glad to see that you wern't hurt all that much...would have liked it better if you wern't hurt at all...but it's a little too late for that." He timidly reached out and then stopped.
"Do you....do you mind?" He asked.
"How can I be disgusted or scared of something so beautiful?"

He smirked.
"I told you, you liked my legs." He considered sleeping there...if not for the simple fact that he wanted to make sure that Risa would be alright through the night, but he didn't answer...it was almost too tempting. He took hold of the hot bowl and shifted it from hand to hand then to his lap as the heat seeped into his worn hands.
"Anything is better than an empty stomach, but if I had my choice it would be your cooking all the way." He grinned and actually took it slow this time, squinting his eyes in painful indulgance as the heat warmed his tired insides.

I smile at him "im glad youre not as hurt as I expected you to be... I thought you were gonna die..." I look down "Im sorry I followed you from school... you told me and Zahara to stay away but we didnt listen...but I was worried about you.. If i had listened, I wouldn't have gotten in trouble, or my secret wouldn't have gotten out..." I sip the broth of my soup.
I smile at him and take his hand "you can, no one ever touched them other than my mother and I..." I put his hand to my soft feathers, i slowly stretch my right wing out in front of him, its length reached the kitchen table. My feathers shined and were as white and pure as snow. My back was to him. I released his hand and let him do what he pleased. My heart raced and i set my empty bowl on the table- i finished before him, i was pretty hungry too.::

"Hey...if you hadn't followed me, I would have been dead on your doorstep and Juri out in the train yard now." His hand shook as Risa took it and placed it on her feathers...he swallowed hard and took a breath...they felt silky smooth and shone like nothing he'd ever seen before.
"Amazing..." He breathed.
"What..What are you? You're more than Human...I can tell you that...." He traced a finger down the curve of the wing and looked down them as if to see if they curved anywhere and wern't as straight as they looked...they were. He bit his lip, placing his half-empited bowl to the side and admired their strength.
"It's utterly amazing how you lug these things around school and no one notices."

::I closed my eyes and felt the pressure on my wing. I took it all in, it was alot to deal with, now that he knew I didnt know what was going to happen.
I replied to him in a low-toned voice "i don't know what I am... as far as I know, i'm a monster... I was born with them and they've been with me since I was born. Surgery was out of the option- they're connected to my spine and Id die of they were removed, so I must hide them." I felt him move his hand around softly and just sighed- he was alot gentler than my mother was- it felt nice.
"Its...hard to keep them still and flat on my back, it took years of training to get them to sit just right so my back looked somewhat normal. Plus my long hair helps, it hides the top of my back, which is a pretty big bump. Im lucky until now, that no one in this neighborhood noticed them, but now you know, and Juri saw them, and so did a few of those thugs. I dont know what to do, or if should tell my mother. She'll probably make us move again... I hate moving so much..." i looked to the floor, Misty slept soundly.::

He shook his head and pulled Risa against his knees.
"You're no monster....that never was an option.I guess that your wings were what were bothering you that day in class huh?" He lay his head ontop of hers and just breathed. She still smelled like her bathroom, a calming scent that forced him to relax...he couldn't do anything else. HE smiled against her hair and poked her forhead.
"Juri won't say anything...and if those punks do it'll be their sanity....and...I'm not going to jepordize your life...not anymore....if you so order it so it shall be, remember? All you have to do is say the word and my lips are sealed...but it's not like I was going to say anything in the first place...I don't want you to have to move...School just wouldn't be the same without you....I'd never have a chivalrous reason to stalk anyone anymore." He chuckled and smoothed out the feathers he'd ruffled.

::My eyes teared up "youre the first person to treat me like im.. normal..." i smiled. "Yah, that day in class I had a hard cramp in one of 'em and I couldn't get it to go away, I thought I was going to die.." i giggle. I felt his weight on my head and blushed and felt the vibration of his voice as he spoke. "I sure hope Zahara is alright... I didnt see him at the scene after you fled to my house with that weired note..."
The smell of calm lavender filled the whole house from both of us showering- i didnt mind, it calmed me and I never felt so calm and safe as I did at this very moment. I smile and close my eyes "I remember what you said...Im not going to order you around like my pet..."
"I dont think im going to tell my mom about today, she'd flip out. As long as you and the others say nothing, I should be alright..."::

"What has everyone else treated you like? An alien?" He scowled.
"Come to think of it...neither did I....I don't know where he got to...maybe got scared and ran home? No...that doesn't seem like Dracula...." He let it go...it didn't matter..Zahara seemed like he could take care of himself when it came to it.

"But I am.." He protested.
"You took in this red-headed stray and now you have a permanent social pet." He grinned against her hair.
"Just like Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dumb over there...only I can talk and make rash decsions all on my own.
Oh so you're not going to tell your mom eh? Well what will she say if she comes in and finds me on the couch asleep? 'Oh look my daughter has brought home another pet'? I think she might want to know what I'm doing here...in your clothes."

I glare at him "Kane...youre NOT my pet... i just feed you and dress your wounded body all the time" i laugh. "Besides, Chidori would die if she found out about you being here... and she'd 'prolly kill me." i yawn.
I laugh at the thought of mom coming in to find him asleep on the couch "oh, don't worry, you're sleeping in my room. Id never put you on this damn uncomfortable couch. Besides, the cats wouldn't share the couch with anyone." I laugh, thinking nothing of how 'bad' that sounded.::

"I might have to hurt them then." He smirked from the couch nodding his agreement...Drac was fine..he didn't know how...but he knew it.
"Then Chidori can kill me first...no one's going to hurt you anymore....and you might want to rethink the Pet thing....I might throw harder next time in dodgeball....she might end up with a broken nose..or something...not that I would aim for her face or anything...no...I'm innocent of that." His face betrayed his lie. He laughed.
"Great..now I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted...to think my fellow creatures wouldn't allow me a spot on the couch..." He turned to Risa.
"Fine..I'll stay here for the night...I'll let Juri know and then...I'm taking over your floor." He pulled out his cell and dialed Juri, after explaining he was staying for 'sercurity' reasons, he flipped it shut.

::"Chidori gets her way, no matter what. She'll win your heart, I know she will. Shes the head of the cheer leading squad, and the prettiest girl in school, I don't get how you don't like her. Every other boy does but you." I looked at him puzzled.
"The cats don't share with anyone, so don't take it personally" I giggle.
I stood and stretched my arms up and my wings out, they filled the length of the living room and kitchen. "well, should we head upstairs then? We have school tomorrow, if you didn't remember." I went and locked the front door and turned out the lights, a small night light lit up the kitchen and one in the hallway. I headed upstairs::

"Eh, Chidori can eat my shoelaces....she's really not my type, too.....too preppy.....guh!!" He shuddered.
"And if you think so highly of her, why is it that she hasn't won me yet? Remember I fought her over those tickets for you......of course..her kiss thing wasn't helping her case any..."

He grimaced. There it was that dreaded word...School...he'd have Juri run him over a clean pair of pants and a shirt tomorrow before he left...then he'd just smile as he got fussed at for not having a uniform...that oughta brighten his day...and make the teacher's a little less. With a smirk and a skip Kane followed her.
"Right behind you, owner."

::I laugh at what he said about Chidori and we reached my room, I turned on my light. All a purple theme, pretty tidy and i owned LOTS of Manga and anime. A Pile of Stuffed animals were piled on my bookcase, My desk was covered in papers and books. "Sorry for the mess, I draw alot so I never really clean off my desk..." I go in my closet and pull out a huge quilt and lay it out on the floor. I give him a blanket from my bed (i had alot of them on there) and one of my pillows. "I feel bad that you have to sleep on the floor...you can sleep in my bed, and ill sleep on the floor if you like...I do find that its better on my wings to sleep on the floor once in a while..." I blush.

"And Kane, please stop saying that you're my pet and Im your owner... please..."
