Kane was shifting through drawings as Risa talked, spreading him out a place on her floor.
"And what kind of gentleman would I be then?" He said holding aloft one of her pictures.
"That's very good." He said to himself. He turned back and grinned.
"Aw, fine then would you like for me to call you master?" He shook his hands in front of him.
"Kidding...I'm kidding."

::I jumped at him "ahh no! Dont look at them!!" I had drawings of him hidden up there on my desk, somewhere and I didnt want him to find them "Dont look, theyre..not good at all..." I blushed and tried to fix up the pile of art on my desk and gather the ones the fanned out on the floor, hoping he didnt spot one i did of him he put on the floor.
Changing the subject on my art i ask "So, hows your body feeling? Achey in sure..." Misty came in and laid on my bed. I shut my door and sat down on the floor.::

He laughed at her reaction and let her hide all her artwork...they were good..at least those of him were...he smiled. How long had she been drawing him? Was it all from memory?

"Meh....it's a little stiff...but nothing I can't deal with." He joined her and leaned on his knees.

::I blushed "whats stiff? Maybe I can make it feel better, my mom says i'm really good at messages" i giggle "Misty loves when I pet her, let her tell you how good it feels"
"uhm, its been a long time since I had a sleepover..."i giggle "do you just want to go to bed??" I look at my digital clock- 12:11am. "Are you tired at all?"::

Kane laughed and chucked a pillow at her head.
"I'm having problems as it is girl don't make this any harder!!" He leaned back onto his hands that he linked behind his head and shook it no.
"I don't think I can sleep...not with what's happened..I can always take a nap on the roof tomorrow...there's nothing going on in class 'cept for that Ice and Snow book."

::I fall backwards and laugh, holding the pillow in my arms "What kind of problems?? Did...you just want to go home? You don't need to stay here if you don't want to.. or if you feel too uncomfortable, I can always sleep in my moms room..." I held the pillow up to my face, so you can only see my eyes. I talked into the pillow "i'm sorry, i shouldn't have been so selfish in asking you to stay over...I hope you didn't feel pressured, or obligated at all..." I look down at the floor.
"you should really try to pay more attention in class, I don't want you to fail!"::

He smiled lightly, an odd look of tenderness crossing his face.
"You are my problem, I can't leave you even if I tried. You didn't force me here with a gun to my head this is my own choice...stop feeling bad..you did nothing wrong." He scoffed looking at the wall.
"Meh...class is so boring I don't know how you can stay awake through it."

::My eyes teared up "Im a problem??" I stuffed the pillow closer into my face, covering my eyes. I wrapped my wings around me, covering myself in a cocoon-like way.
"You should really try to pay attention, your future depends on it... just try to keep yourself occupied and think of it as a challenging game..."

He gaped, then groaned and flopped back onto her floor.
"Not that kind of problem geeze!!" He lifted a hand to look at it.
"You're like....well...I can't explain it..but I can't go off and do things like I used to...I can't go off and get hurt like I did, because you'd either get sad or want to beat the crap out of me...I have to make sure that you're going to be alright before I go and pick a fight with a punk that said something to me." He lolled his head to the side to look at her.
"And there's no way that class is ever going to be a challenging game...it's too...too structured....too...class-roomy."

::I keep inside my safe-feeling cocoon and close my eyes "So im stopping you from being you? Dont stop being who you are because of me... I promise I wont cry or fuss over you anymore... I just dont like seeing people hurt or in pain knowing I have the ability to save them from their suffering..."
I laugh "Its too structured and too hard for you to do.." I teased him::

"You don't stop me from being me...you...you've just....given me purpose....I promised before that I wouldn't die...and it still applies...I can't let myself get hurt because I have to protect you...."Sitting up, he scratched the back of his head and blushed looking away, he shoved out his bottom lip trying to look tough.
"I mean.......if you don't utterly despise my company after tonight."

::I open my wing just a tad to peek out and put the pillow down. I smiled at him blushing and I stretched my wings forward and pushed him towards me, inside my safe winged Haven. It was alike a little private tent. he was very close to me and it was warm and smelled of lavender inside my cocoon "You want to protect me?You should WANT to live because of you. And Kane, how could I despise you? How could anyone?" I whispered. I tucked my hair behind my ear and looked down "Thats if you dont despise me that is... for fussing over your wounded body all the time... but If i dont take care of it who will? I know you wont, and theres only so much Juri can do!" I kept my wings wrapped around us.::[/b]

Kane jerked a bit when Risa's wings pulled him to her and then closed around them again..but he didn't mind.
"Of course I want to protect you...I mean...if I don't who will? I do want to live...but I don't think I've ever minded dying as much as I do now...if I leave you...I couldn't rest easy in my grave knowing you were alone." He smirked.
"Oh I know of a few people that could..." His smirk faded slightly and he cupped his hand around her face to lift it.
"I can't hate you...I'll never want to." He chuckled.
"How do you know I'll never take care of myself? I've done it so far with a little help from my sister...But then again...you're so much better at it."

::I smile at him, Blushing immensely "Im glad I give you the will to live...you deserve to live a good, long, healthy life. And im glad youre not scared of me for being this way, and that you want to protect me. So few people see me that way, they see me as a moving target for money..." I sigh deeply.
I smile at him nervously when he touched my face, my heart pounded.
"All I can think of is getting you to feel better, and Ill do that in any way you'll let me Kane.." I put my hand on his shoulder, having a small feeling that I should touch him in some way.::

[GOD yes Little Mermaid music!!! *sings* hey Hatch, u still on Gaia??]

"Money....." Kane glared through Risa at the back of her wings.
"Just the thought of anyone trying to hurt you for cash makes me sick..." He shook his head and looked away.
"Risa..." He turned back to her face.
"Thank you...for everything.."

::I blush "well, its alright, i'm used to it..." I let go of him, bringing my wings back around to my back. the coldness of the room hit us again. I lean back on my hands and puff out my chest "Whew, Im getting tired... you should be too..." I glance over at the clock 1:30 am. "oh and don't thank me, I should be thanking you, but I guess thats what all the lunch is gonna be for" i smile at him warmly I put the pillow beside me, and im still sitting Indian style, leaning back on my palms::

Kane shivered against the cold, and yawned instead of answering her question. It was getting late and he didn't want to fall asleep standing up on their way to school..so he smiled and rolled back onto his makeshift futon with an 'OOmph'.
"I gotta thank you...those lunches are just cuz you wuff me." He stretched out with a smirk, his legs going out to either side as did his arms. He leaned his head on one hand and lifted his eyebrows.
"You wanna sleep under here too? Wouldn't want your wings cramping up again in class.....I might not have anything to scream about outside...luckily there was a bird the last time."

::I smile at him as he flopped down and blushed " 'wuff' ?" i try not to even think about what that word means to him and stand up "uhm, i dont think us sleeping together is such a great idea... i tend to cling to something in my sleep.... though my wings will keep you extremely warm" I smile and sit on my bed, turning out he light, a night light goes on. "i just hope word doesnt get out that you slept here, people will suspect...stuff..." I lay down "are you okay down there? are you uncomfortable?"::

With a shrug and a grin, Kane rolled over onto his side and yawned one last time...by the time the night-light came on he was well on his way to La-La Land. He heard Risa's question..and answered...as best he could.
"Stupid fuzzballs.....dust...dust bunnies want...want my cookies..." He snorted in his sleep, his dream far from normal.

::I laugh to myself as he spoke of stealing dust bunnies and closed my eyes and fell asleep faster than usual, knowing he was here and I was safe made me at ease.

The alarm clock went off and I jumped up and stepped on Kanes groin by accident, forgetting completely that he was there. I realize i stepped on him and fall over beside him, i grit my teeth, hoping he didnt feel it but it was highly unlikely he'd sleep though that much pressure::

Dust Bunnies...one minute Kane was asleep dreaming of killer, rabid Dust Bunnies that were under Chidori's control...and then the next minute....he felt like his enitre lower body was on fire.
"HOLY--!!!!" He sat straight up, putting pressure on, and guarding the injured area. He rolled to one side, curled in the fetal position as his eyes crossed.
"Owwwiieeee..." He wheezed realizing that the alarm was going off...Juri wasn't standing over him....and he wasn't in his room. He rolled back over, his face scrinched against the pain and looked over at Risa.
"Mornin'" He said.
"I've got to remember not to sleep next to your door....it's a dangerous place to be..."

:the alarm still beeping, i jump up, turn it off and knelt beside him, i held his head firmly to my chest "OH MY GOD KANE im so sorry!!! I totally forgot you where there and I didnt look where I was going...oh god... Im so sorry..." my eyes teared up and I just felt so awful. "do you want some ice? or will that be too cold...oh god.." i was freaking out, i clenched his head tighter "Is there anything i can do?? I guess this is the last time you sleep over.." i try to laugh but end up sobbing::

He was alright....just a bit..... sore....but he grinned like an idiot as Risa pulled his head against her chest...she probably didn't realize it...but Kane was in pervert heaven at the moment. He couldn't help but chuckle as soon as the burning had stopped.
"Risa....relax....I'm fine really...it's too early and you....no really it's too early for you to be shoving me where you are.....you might want to go get ready before one of two things happens...
one: we're late for school...or
two: I do something that's going to put a permanant ban on my lunches..." He bit his lip to keep from laughing.
"Preferably...I'd like to keep my lunch...if it's all the same to you." He noticed that his hands were getting itchy and he prayed that Risa wouldn't notice.

::I squeezed him harder "i dont care!!! take it all INN!!!" i rubbed his face in harder, i was so apologetic I couldn't stand it and it was funny to see him get so darn flustered "YOU LIKE THIS!!! ILL DO IT ALL DAYY!!!" I gritted my teeth and closed a fist on his hair, pulling it a bit, i laughed, loving to tease him like I was. "ill make you lunch no matter what happens!!"::

"OH GO--!!" Kane flailed about as Risa wove a death grip into his hair.
"Refa!!! YUR SMOPHER-- I'M GONNA DIE!!!" He was laughing and trying to breathe at the same time...and neither was working very well, he managed to get a grip on her shoulders and toppled them both to one side, freeing his burning face from her chest. He sucked in cold, fresh air and plunked his face back onto her collar bone, staring embarrasedly.
"Risa...move it...if we don't get out of here before long...my head is going to explode with all the blood that's rushing to it..." He stood and slapped the sides of his face trying to calm down.
"I'm going to be so distracted in class today, I might not even need the roof..."
