Kane fidgeted nervously as he waited, Juri was calm and collected but he noticed that her hand twitched every so often..she was worried.
Risa leapt out the window and he muffled his groan as she crumpled his back again.
"Just like old times eh?" He chuckled and ducked under the bushes again. they made their way back to the car and he leaned in the front window and tapped the horn twice.
"OH!" Juri gasped. She bowed low and smiled.
"Thank you both for your statements I'm sure the paper will be happy to receive it, but I'm afraid my partner is waiting in the car, he gets antsy when I take time for..work..you know." She giggled and blushed, it spreading to the officers and walked off. Once out of sight, she broke into a run and scrambled inside the car.
"Get everything?" She asked smiling, her hair in dissaray. She looked as though she was having fun.

::I follow close behind Kane, keeping well out of sight. Jumping into the back seat i Nod "lets get the hell outta here...." I duck down and cover myself with a nearby blanket and keep as still as possible. It was hot for a September day, and I kinda wished I hadn't picked Jeans to wear... i had almost half a mind to take them off, I didnt think Kane would care, if anything he'd be thrilled. I thought it'd be best to wait until we were on the road though, well out of sight of any civilization.
I say from under the blanket "So... any plans to where we're going?? I could have just flown us somewhere..." I begin to sweat, its so hot.::

Kane patted the blanket from the passenger seat keeping his eyes open as they pulled out onto the road.
"Our parents..when they were alive...had this little beach house...not anything real fancy, but we spent a few summers there...it'll serve as a safe house for now." He smiled, still focused on the road.
"You can at least come out of there until we spot someone...believe me, we'll let you know when it's time to hide."

::I peek out then come all the way out, and my hair a total mess I slide into the middle bump and look around. I loved car rides, It was getting somewhere fast and me not doing the flapping that kind of made my day.
"Are you sure you guys wanna get involved in this...? Kane you're already kinda involved, you were there during the fight, but Juri? Youre leaving your job, and home...all of this because of me... I shouldn't have never met such nice people like yous..." I bite my bottom lip and look down at the floor of the car, scattered with cans and bottles and napkins::

Juri smiled looking back in the rearveiw mirror.
"Of course I want to be involved." She ruffled her brother's hair and he shooed her hands away to pout like a little kid.
"Kane explained everything...how Chidori found you two in the park....the branch....then.." She trailed off and then shook her head.
"Anyway, you have a big secret, I don't want to see you exposed. That and your safety are our priorites right now, so I wouldn't worry." She reached back and thunked her one on the head.
" 'Nice people'? Who are you talking about? Kane is a punk and I'm just as bad when you get down to it...compared to us, you're a Saint...." Juri chuckled as she turned off onto a bypass.

::I laugh as she messed up Kanes already wind-blown hair. "Kane is no punk, he's...." I think for a moment, trying to get the right word "a sweetheart.." I blush and hide my face in the blanket "He is, whether he likes it or not!!" i smile at him and touch his neck from the far right of his seat.
"youre both great people... My mom would never do this, shes far too involved in her work to worry about me anymore... she always told me if I sensed I was in any danger to fly far away and to never return. I was prepared to do that until Kane talked some sense into me... I couldn't leave him.." I felt a tad bit awkward talking to Juri about how I felt about Kane, so I left it at that. I didn't think she knew about our kiss and how far our relationship was really getting. Sometimes, I didnt even believe it myself, that a cute and popular guy like Kane would ever like a emo caged bird like myself::[/b]

Kane huffed and faliled futilely as Risa poked him.
"AAARRRUUUGGHHHH!!!" He sputtered and blushed.
"Will you two cut it out! I have a reputation thank you!" He turned and smiled.
"Even if she is busy, I'm sure she didn't mean that about never returning...she cares about you Risa...she'd had to, else she wouldn't have taken time to raise you." He turned to Juri and nodded.
"Right?"
"Right." She snickered and 'squee'ed.
"You two are so cute! I can't wait to see your kids!" Kane's face went as bright as his hair.
"JURI!!!" He smacked her shoulder turning around and sitting stiffly.
"S-Shut up!!! Geeze don't even joke!!" He wanted to curl up in the front seat and die...his sister could be so embarassing.

::I sigh "She meant it... I know she loves me but she works in the maternity ward, so shes always with kids... normal ones..." I yawn and the sun starts to fade slowly in front of us "are we almost there? My wings are getting anxious.."

I laugh hysterically and look to him, my smile fading slowly "id never have sex with Kane, nor with anyone. I don't want to burden a child with the same horrible life I had to go though..." I look out the window, i had always wanted kids, but knew I really shouldn't let my DNA live on after me. Other than my dead mother, I was the only one who held this gene, that I knew of.::

Kane's face fell...parents.....should never want their children to go away. He clenched his fists in his lap and looked out the window. He jerked when Risa talked about her line dying out...he sighed and leaned against the door. Then....this was it...this was as far as they could go...that was fine....but he was going to enjoy every minute that he had then...until Risa got tired of him.
Juri huffed.
"Aw, that's no fun...and here I thought I was going to get a few neices and nephews out of you two."

::I blush and Look to her "Well, not from me. Im sure Kane will find a very nice woman to have children with someday, It just wont be me." I look out the window, and i see my reflection, and I fix my messed up hair, the best i can with my hands.
I loved Kane, but never even thought about that and i blushed looking to him, but i jerked my head back and looked out the window again. It was totally out of the question, I doubted Kane ever even thought of that... it wasnt right anyway...::

Kane shifted uneasily.
"Okay...awkward silence." He tapped his foot against the floorboard and looked out the window.
"We should be at the house in a few hours." He said trying to lighten the mood.
"Have you ever been to the ocean Risa?" He asked making polite conversation...he smiled, but it was obvious that both he and Juri were disturbed by her comments.

::I nod "I can wait..." I look around, getting uneasy and tired.
I look to Kane "No, i've never been there... no reason to, I cant go in the water anyway, unless i'm fully clothed, but its never happened..." I slide back into the seat beside me and lean against the door, looking out the window, leaning my head against the glass "I can swim, but, I can only really be in the water when i'm in a secluded area or something, and that almost never happens..." i yawn and close my eyes::

Kane smiled and looked at Juri. Their parents really thought of everything.
"Well, you try and get some sleep back there, we'll wake you up when we get there...you're probably exhausted." Juri flipped the radio to a station and turned the volume down to where it was barely audible...more so for her sake, Juri couldn't drive in silence.

[ugh, im not feeling too good...]
::I nod and snuggle up into a ball in the back seat,i clutch the blanket to my chest, i had to cling to something while I slept... i nodded off, finally falling asleep, only hearing the sounds of the passing cars and wind rushing though the cracked windows::

Kane very nearly leapt out of the car when it pulled into the driveway of the summer house. He ran to the edge of the sand and stretched. It had been forever since he and Juri had been here, and now he could show Risa the best places to hide out and find seashells...he was like a kid at Christmas. He ran back and leaned in the window, tapping on Risa's shoulder.
"Hey..." He said gently.
"Time to rise and shine Angel." Juri sighed and hauled out the bags from the back.
"You know you could always help me out here. These bags are kinda heavy."

::the scent of the ocean filled my nose and I slowly open my eyes "HMM?" I stretch up my arms and look at him tiredly. "What time is it..? I rub my eyes::
[it should be late at night, depending on how long it took to get there]

Juri glanced at her watch and hefted the suitcase.
"It's about twelve thirty..give or take an hour." Kane retracted his head from the car and made his way over to take the luggage from her.
"There's an extra bedroom in the back if you're still tired." Juri popped her back and smiled sleepily.

::I climb out and look out at the ocean; my drowsiness seems to fade as I see the moon reflection on the ocean. "Wow.." my eyes widened "This is such a beautiful place..." i take of my sneakers and socks and walk on the parking pebbles, and made my way to the sand. It was still warm.
"MM.. feels so good, havnt felt this since I was 5...."::

The car was quickly unloaded and Juri waved heading inside. Being on the road for the last little while had wore her out, she was going to sleep off the feeling of the road and burning steering wheel inside.
Kane however...was too excited to sleep. He joined Risa on the sand and clasped his hands behind his back.
"You like it?" He asked smiling sideways.

::I waved back to Juri and looked to Kane "Arent you tired?" I fold my hands together and take in the sound of the waves crashing to the beach. My hair blew in a slight breeze "i..love it.... I wwant to fly over the ocean..."::

He shook his head.
"Not at all...it's been forever since I've came here." He pointed out to the ocean.
"Why don't you? No one's out this morning...and even if they are, we're in the back of a cove, the rocks will hide you if you stay low."

[ugh i donno how much longer i can sit here without barfing.... lunch is soon, i cant figure out if its cause im hungry or i just plain dont feel good...]
::i smile at him warmly "i would have never thought to hide in a place like this..."
I look to him "do you wanna fly with me??" i say this to him while taking off my shirt, and unhooking my bra, letting out my wings, a few feathers flutter about. hooking it back up, I look to him, and wiggle my feet deeper into the sand
"I bet its a great view, and the stars are so much brighter here..." i look up at the sky::

Kane smiled but shook his head.
"No, you go on, you deserve a little happiness all to yourself..I'll be here waiting for you." He shoved his hands in his pockets and leaned against a rock.

::I nod "suit yourself, but Ill be back for you..." i kiss his cheek and run off and catch a midnight breeze before he could even respond to my kiss. I fly up, then down, almost crashing not the water but catch myself and fly inches from the surface. I looked to him from the sky and waved to him::

The takeoff was flawless...Kane's jaw dropped as Risa dipped and dived, her aerial acrobatics amazing as he stood on the sand. He numbly waved too impressed to bother with being cool. He wondered if it was this amazing when she carried him.
