He turned to her and gave her a look that told her to be serious.
"You're not a beast and you know that's not what I meant." He ran a hand along the closest of her wings and smiled.
"Somehow....I have a feeling that if you wern't born of Heaven..then the Wind itself spawned you." He took a deep breath of salt air and held it a moment.
"I'm not giving up anything." He said at last.
"If I lose you...if I lose this feeling...then I've lost all happiness. I...I can't see me having a family if you're not part of it."

"You know exactly what I mean, I want to keep you..like this...as long as I can." He brushed away her tear and frowned. With a grunt he pulled her close and held her there.
"Damnit woman, do I have to spell it out for you? Isn't this when you're supposed to be saying all this mushy crap?" He leaned back and practically hauled her into his lap, cupping her face in his hands and looking her in the face.
"I. LIKE. YOU....." He paused, a look of confusion running across his face before he looked back like before.
"Correction. I. LOVE. YOU. YOU, and ONLY you.....whatever you are, however you act." He looked behind her to her wings.
"Even if you are.....diffrent.." He smiled at her.
"It only adds to the spell."

::His soft touch on my wing made me calmer, my muscles relaxed and I gazed at him. "You... want to have a family... with me?" I blush and bring my hand to my chest, which is throbbing.

I almost fell off the rock when he grabbed me and i sat on his lap; this was new, I was higher up than him, my mind was racing. i looked down, into his eyes "i..like hearing you say this stuff to me... its... comforting..."
I cocked my head to the side and blushed when he said he liked me, then he changed his words. My face grew red and my eyes got glassy again "Kane..." I touch his cheek and touch his nose with my nose, Looking deeply into his green eyes "Kane...I...think I love you too.." my heart was racing and i slowly tilted my head and kissed his lips softly, i put my other hand on the other side of his face and swing my leg around, so im on his lap, each leg on either side of him (i hope you understand this pose im trying to explain LOL)::

He covered her hand with his...marveling at how small and fragile it seemed...but held such strength.
"It's too early to talk about a family...but....the notion doesn't bother me."

"I'm glad it's comforting...because I'm going to keep saying it." He bumped her nose with his playfully as she talked.
"Dear-heart..." He didn't get any further, caught in the rush of her gentle kiss.
He held her, held her close, afraid that if he let go for even a moment..she would dissapear with the breeze on the ocean...he wouldn't risk losing her again.

::I keep the kiss going, i press my lips into his harder and bring my right hand behind his head, the other around his torso. i lifted my wings up and around us, I embraced him with all I had. I wished this moment could last forever...the sun was rising behind us, it was warm... his body was warm, against mine. i pressed my chest against his in the embrace and ran my fingers though his silky hair, still kissing him with so much love i couldn't contain it any longer.::

Kane slanted his mouth and deepened their kiss, all but crushing her to him.
"Risa.." He breathed breaking it a moment.
"Promise me something." His eyes were clouded sea-green and his face red. He looked down and away..seeing her with the early sun as a backlight was almost too much for the senses.

::with a smooch sound he had pulled away from my lips grasp on him. I kept running my fingers though his hair and I look deep into his eyes, my nose still touching his. My face was a shade of pink and I replied "anything..." the wind blew, i tucked my hair behind my ears::

He grinned like his normal stupid self and chuckled.
"Promise me Little Bird...you won't try to fly away again?"

"Well aren't you two a right pretty pair?" Juri waited below her toothbrush sticking out of her mouth.
"Honestly, it's about time you two confessed."

::I smile "i wont... never..."
i hear Juris voice and jump off of his lap "WHAT? NOTHING HAPPENED!" I flailed my arms and I fly off the rock and fly over the ocean in excitement, I scream aloud in joy, spreading out my arms and soaring like i never did before::

Kane flailed backward off the rock as Risa jumped up, he landed in the soft sand, a perfect veiw of her figure as she flew...all too soon blocked by his sister's smiling face.
"Little brother...I think you just made that girl's day." He shrugged cooly and looked at her.
"It wasn't anythig special."
"Oh no? Well, if she's not my sister-in-law by the time you get out of highschool, I'm going to haul you to the doctor to have your head checked." Juri looked up and took her toothbrush out.
"Risa!!" She called.
"Laps can be done after shopping!! Come on!!"

::i soar over to the shore and yell, "Is Kane coming??" i land beside her, still red. the sand between my toes felt great, even though I stayed up all night, i felt so energized I could do anything. I looked at him as he lay in an odd position and smile, winking at him::

She threw her towel over her shoulder and nodded.
"Who else are we gonna get to carry our bags?" She grinned and Kane groaned.

The boardwalk wasn't crowded this early of the morning, but by noon it would be packed. Juri headed for one store after another, dressed in a sweater and a pair of shorts, stomping along the sidewalk in a pair of slip-on sandals that she'd packed. It was late for tourist season..but there were stil enough locals that would be coming out of the woodwork to enjoy the last few days of warm weather before the water turned frigid.

::i laugh "youre right!!!" i slipped my sneakers on and follwed, smirking at Kane.

I looked around excitedly "WOW! this place is so cool!!!" there were games, stuffed animals, fudge and surfboards everywhere he looked. Her eyes sparkled and tugged at Kane's arm "LOOK AT THAT!" she pointed in every direction and kept up the pace with Juri and her shopping. "So, what are we shopping for?? anything in particular Juri??"::

"Traitor." He said returning her smirk.

Kane was whipped one way and then another, he swung about on the balls of his feet careful to keep his balance. He could only smile, Risa had never been to the ocean, so naturally she wouldn't know about all the shopping centers. He laughed as she dragged him from one window to the next, herding her the way the Juri was when she lingered too long.
"Actually, we're looking for you a few changes of clothes, mine..just don't suit you." She turned and made a camera lens with her fingers.
"You look more like you should be in a lot of spring...if not summer colors, and what better place to find those than here?!" She laughed and with her arms akimbo, made her way into the nearest store.

::i followed her in, slipping my fingers between Kanes and keeping him close to my side. I felt I wanted to get something for him... an outfit special for me wear for him, but I didnt know what...
"Juri, I cant wear anything else but long pants and t shirts, and maybe the occasional dress... you know that..." i whisper, I look at a stuffed cat and laugh, pointing at it.::

Kane squeezed her hand knowing how bad his sister could be with shopping.
"Sorry you got dragged into this." He muttered jokingly. Juri turned and eyed him.
"I can hear you, you know." She pulled him into a rough full nelson as early birds looked on in either awe or fear. While he struggled in her grip she smiled.
"Out in public, but what about around the cabin? You don't have to hide them there." A snoopy old woman leaned over the nearest rack and Juri turned to her.
"She's a very devout Catholic, doesn't want to show her ankles." The old woman seemed taken aback, but retracted her head into a bargin bin.

::I giggle at their constant bickering and look around "well, i guess around the cabin clothes are alright, but what did you have in mind??" My eyes widen at the lady, then i breathe a sigh of relief as she mentions ankals "OH, YEAH, theyre so private.." i scratched the back of my head and looked around.
A pink tank with a cat on the breast caught my eye and i smiled "this is so cute.."::

"Whatever." Juri said smiling even bigger...if it was possible.
"Just whatever you like." She nodded when Risa picked the tank.
"That's the idea, what do you think moron?" She bounced Kane up and down in her hold and he nodded numbly.
"See? Even he likes it."

::i blushed and smiled warmly "this is so cutee..." I held it to my chest and looked around, and saw a pink bikini with a proverbial cat pattern "Ohh, are we going to go swimming??" I rushed up to it and looked it over. I wanted to try it on, maybe this could be the 'gift' for Kane. I looked to Kane "will you swim with me?"::

Juri nodded her agreement and let Kane go to fliter through a few tees that looked like they might be on sale.
That left Kane to answer her questions.
"Well..." He said scratching the back of his head.
"There should be a few days of good swim weather left...so I guess..." He blushed furiously at the thought of her in a bathing suit.
"S-Sure.." He mumbled smiling....if she looked anything like the vison he'd had in his head...he was going to die a happy man.

::I smile looking over at him "youve seen me half naked before... its no big suprize Kane.." i laugh "you gonna wear those speedos I love so much?" I laugh hysterically and pick a pair of shorts to go with the tank. I blush at the thought of him in a bathing suit and sigh and daydream. I then squee and grab his arm "cmon i wanna go swimming now!!!" I wished I had packed my camera::

Almost every head in the store turned with wide eyes at that comment and Kane's head dipped further down, turning a deeper red. He galred at her from under his bangs and shook his head...torture. That what speedoes were. He was glad that she'd started to drag him out, and he only readily agreed since they were still getting stared at, he shoved everything on the check out counter and told Juri that they were going back to the cabin, then paid for everything while she was still shopping. Despite it's drawbacks...being a courier for that gang had it's advantages. Kane carried the bag out and hurried back to the cove. All but dragging Risa along behind him.

::I laugh and take the bag from him "ill be right out, alright?" i dash into the house and go into the bathroom;. Tieing my hair back, I put on the tieing top, and tieing sides bottom suit and peek out the door at him, blushing "dont laugh alright..." I felt funny all of a sudden, this seemed kinda new. I hadnt worn a bathing suit for a LONG time.::

Kane smiled after her and followed her in. He stayed in the living room as he changed, dragging out a pair of swimming trunks Juri had seemed to pack....no she had'nt packed, just grabbed the ready-made vacation luggage their Mom had stowed away in the closet..it had money, clothes, and other things that were needed on a short trip..no wonder she'd wanted to go shopping. He was just pulling the trunks over his left foot when he heard the door open, he jerked them up as quickly as possible then turned red-faced to where Risa stood....and nearly died. He gaped openly unable to contain himself.
....Blast his mind.....that image hadn't even done her justice.

::I grin "Drat, a second too late" i joke and step out, revealing myself to him, i blush and look to the floor. The bathing suit fit me perfectly, and outlined every curve to my body. I had my wings neatly folded behind me and I twiddled my fingers "well, you gonna stand and stare all day or are we gonna go swimming!?" i took his hand and led him outside, into the hot sun. I brought my hand over my eyes, to block the sun::
[okays, goodnight XD ill pop on tomorrow morning when i can]

He chuckled nervously thinking that he'd got them up just in time. Kane tilted his head and thought a second nodding to himself...yes, he could stand there and stare all day...but Risa grabbed his hand and lead him outside...he made a face that bordered on agony...the veiw from the back was even better.
