::She frowned "Its none of your concern, buzz off child. Like The professor said, you need to learn your place... she'll be home soon, and she'll be as beautiful and normal as she always wished to be, so stop interfering in her life..." she practically slammed the curtain shut and Oreo appeared in the opposite window of Misty. She pawd at the glass at him.::

He jerked as the window slammed closed. He made his way over to where the cats were, and he knelt to stare them in the face.
"You guys know I'm right don't you? You want her to stay the same way she is now...she doesn't have to change to be beautiful." He smiled as he placed his hand over the cat's paw.
"Don't worry...I'm not going to let anything happen to her." He pressed his nose to the glass over their's and tapped off his boots, taking off down the street...fairly sure of the direction that the car had gone.

::Its cold.
My head hurt.
I slowly opened my eyes to find myself in a dimly lit room. I looked down at myself- I was nude. I blushed and covered myself up. I had stickers all over my body. Cold steel bars surrounded me. I stood, a camera in the corner of my tiny cage, watched my every move, beeping and flashing red occasionally.
He then walked in sipping some coffee and sat down in a computer chair and turned on a monitor "Risa, I must say youre a true beauty at heart.. and body..." he grinned and twirled in his chair "After i'm done with you, i'm going to be rich, do you know that?" he smiled, putting his face up to the bars.
I said not a word and growled at him. I was so cold, the bottom of the prison wasn't even covered, it was all just steel.
He frowned "aww whats the matter, what was it he called you... Little Bird? Dont like it in there? Too bad, I cant have you snooping around...." I growled and spit in his face. Wiping it off and growling at me, he reached over to the computer and flipped a switch, throwing on a surge of electricity though my body. I jerked about then fell to the floor again, I just laid there. this was it. It was the end. I would never see Kane again. I cried and shivered all over. I looked out at him pathetically and mumbled, "So you lied to my mother to get me in here?"
He smiled, sipping his coffee once again "But of course. Ive been corresponding with your mother for quite some time... about 10 years I think... shes quite persuasive.." she stroked his thigh and stood, buttoning up his long white lab coat, and ran his hand through his silky black hair, he pushed up his black framed glasses.
"Now, Risa. I'm going to let you out, I have a few tests to conduct. If you're a good girl, i may consider giving you some supper and a blanket... will you be a good girl?"
I closed my eyes and nodded.
He opened the cage with a long brass key and with a big CLUNK and smiled as I stood, wobbling on my weak knees and stepped out, down on to the cold stone ground.
In a flash, he put a steel collar around my neck and i scratched his face, his skin rolling under my nails. I flailed my wings, trying to knock him over. He hit me across the face and yanked the chain the collar was attached to "Now Now, my dear, none of that.. come with me." he led me down a long hallway, I did nothing but follow, holding my head down in shame, one arm covering my breasts, the other my crotch. I sobbed, cold and tired and in pain behind him.::
[for real though, Kane has NO IDEA where she went... this is where Zahara should come into play, him and Kane come to the rescue XD]

He was lost....not just lost...LOST. All capitals. Which meant that he daring plans of rescue were slipping further and further down the crapper. He stood in the rain looking everywhich way that he could possibly think of. He couldn't go back to Risa's house, her mom would probably call the cops for harrassment...that would do Risa a world of good...not.
He closed his eyes and pointed a finger. Then he spun around in a circle and coming to a stop, he looked where his finger pointed.
"Guess that's where I start." He muttered as he ran.

::We entered a dark room. He switched on a light and with an click echo, the florescent lights flickered on. It looked like a torture chamber; needles, straps, belts and a large steel bed in the middle, shaped like a cross. There was a spotlight on it and buckles at each end. I grimaced.
"Come here my dear.." he led me to the center of the large room, to the cross-shaped table. It was too high for me to just sit on, he picked me up by my hips and set me there, gently. He smirked, looking me over. I said not a word and covered my chest and area up again and looked away. He yanked my chain, I felt my trachea move in my throat "Now now, Risa, Be a good girl...Lie down."
I sighed deeply and swung my legs up onto the table and laid them straight out, then laid my back down on the frigid steel. "Spread your wings" he commanded. I did so, stretching them to reach the ends of each of the sides beside me. Before he even asked, I lay my hands out straight, in the straps. To me, this was kind of expected. I had always known this day were going to come. He smiled "Risa, youre being such a good young lady.. maybe Ill make the tests short this evening.." he strapped my wrists and legs down, then whipped out 2 belts around the base of my wings, then again at the tips of the bone under my feathers, which was about mid way.
He turned off the lights and put on goggles, only the spotlight was on me now; I heard a click and the sounds of massive machinery, it lowered slowly over me. I closed my eyes. He couldn't kill me, he'd need me alive for proof.. a tear rolled from the corner of my eye and I just sobbed, praying and cursing myself for not listening to Kane..::

It took three wrong turns and backtracking about three more times before Kane found anyone that had seen the black car. An old man who was walking along the streets...albeit, his answer had came from the bottom of a beer bottle, said that the car had headed out of the city and into the outskirts. Kane thanked him and headed that way..that still left a lot of ground to cover, but if he was meticulous about it..he could probably find the car at least by tomorrow evening. He only prayed that, that wouldn't be too late.

::The machinery took x-rays of my body. I kept my eyes closed and calm. I knew Kane would never come... for all he knew, I wanted to come... and mother thinks i'm at Chucky Cheese... I sighed deeply and out of nowhere, he stuck my wing with a long needle, I cried out,my thoughts interrupted by the sharp pain and i lift my head and look at him, tears rolling down my cheeks. He wiped the sweat off his brow "Sorry sweetheart, I wouldn't only hurt your wing for that second..."
I felt a sharp pain go across my wing where he pricked me, then it flowed through my back and to the other wing. They moved on their own, trying to get free, i looked at them in question, I began to sweat uncontrollably and i screamed loud. the pain was almost unbearable, i felt like my veins were on fire, i cried out, my body trusted every which way, i bit lip and it bled, my wrists and ankles bled from trying to get away. I lost control of my body, the professor just grinned and watched on, taking more x-rays::[/i]

Dawn found Kane in the brush that bordered the outside of the city. He was getting close, but during the course of the night, he'd fell asleep under a tree. He mumbled to himself as he woke and rubbed his eyes.
"Well that was weird." He said.
"Dreams are getting freakier and freakier." He couldn't remember any of the dreams..but he knew they all had something to do with Risa...and the growing fear in his stomach. He stood and cracked his shoulder, looking about. He'd better get started soon..before whatever he'd dreamed came true. There were still a few places that he hadn't checked yet, there was still time.

::Im awoken by snoring. I open my eyes, to see that im in a cozy bed. I sit up, puzzled. I look around, the room is dimly lit, and the silk covers slide off my body. I'm still nude. I look over and see the professor, asleep beside me. He was naked too. My eyes widened. I almost choked and i went to stand up, by my chain was chained to the post of the bed. I grunted and sat on the floor beside the bed, and put my head in my hands.
My Body ached. My head was throbbing. My wings were still there and twitching. My eyes glassy. I just wanted to go home... with Kane... and be in his warm, safe arms...
The concrete under me was cold and stiff. I scratched at my neck, trying to relieve the tension between my skin and the steel but it was no use, it was too tight.
I was horrified at what the Professor could have done to me... I looked up at him as he rolled over, the blankets sliding off him. I bit my tongue at the sight and turned back around and rest my head on my knees. I had always hoped my first time would be with someone I loved..maybe Kane... but then again, I had a feeling this was going to end up like this... who could resist? Im a pure angel... i laughed to myself and wrapped my wings around me; I was so cold and in pain::

WHAM!!! Trees hurt..but Kane couldn't think of anywhere that he hadn't looked...He'd searched all over this area....he couldn't have bypassed it...he just couldn--He turned and looked above him at the top of a hill. His face fell...well duh...of course it'd be in the one place he couldn't see..he'd been looking through all the tress never once thinking to look upward. He sighed and swiped off the blood on his forhead. Now that he'd found the place he needed to keep his promise to Oreo and Misty.

::I looked up, my face was red and i jingled my chain against the post of the bed. The professor awoke to the sound and looked over at me "Oh well, good morning princess... I hope you enjoyed yourself last night...." he grinned, standing up and flexing his naked body I looked away and grimaced; The only man I had hoped to see naked one day was Kane...
I replied "After you stabbed my wing with that needle I was out. Its pathetic that the only way you can get laid is to have sex with an unconscious girls body.. what a pity..." I look over at him as he slips into some shorts. He stormed up to me and slapped me across the face, so hard i hit the ground "Thats enough out of you..." Blood trickled from the gash I just received on the side of my head. i sighed and looked up at him as he unlocked the chain from the bed post
"i was going to feed you... but now I think i want to shower and throw you back in your cell..." He yanked me up off the ground by the chain and I stumbled to my feet. I was still tired, even thought it was the only decent night of sleep I had had in a few days...
He led me to the end of the hall, to the tower where he kept me. He led me inside and locked the gate behind me "Ill be back in later to check on you... stay safe, my little gold nugget." he blew me a kiss and walked off, shutting off the light behind him.
the room was now dark.... no light at all... this is what I feared most... caged, in complete darkness. I close my eyes and laid on the bottom of the cage, bringing my wings over my cold wounded body. I sighed deeply, even my lungs hurt.::

It was offical...life sucked to the Nth degree. The whole place was like a flippin' fortress! Kane had snuk around to the back...in broad daylight..and now stood gripping the bars of a fence that was too high to jump, and too barbed...wire-y..to climb over. He banged his head on the metal and groaned, how was he supposed to get inside now?
His cell buzzed, he'd set it on vibrate eariler so that it wouldn't give him away. He jerked it out.
"What?" He hissed.
"Kane...Kane? Where are you? You said you'd be back--"
"I know what I said..but I can't right now..Risa...Juri listen...I need your help..Barbed wire is easily crushed underfoot right?
"Yeah..but I don't see why you need to..KANE!! You're not doing anything illegal are you!?"
"Not yet." He snapped it shut and shoved the phone back into his pocket...this was going to hurt.

::The dogs spotted him on the inside of the gate and started to bark furiously at him, drooling and spitting all over at the sight of him. They were at the ends of their chains and practically choking themselves.
I heard the commotion and just rolled over in my prison.::

Kane was wound up in the wire that he'd brought over with him and he gingerly unwrapped himself, ignoring the dogs..but he'd have to get by them to get inside...that wasn't going to make his day any brighter...he slunk along the grass, the lawn freshly mowed and no cover until the bushes by the house..but he moved along flat at any rate.
"Alright you..." He spoke to the dogs.
"You're going to let me in whether or not you like it." He was inching his way towards them, his gaze cold and clear.He was getting inside one way or another...even if he got bitten to do it. He held his hands out and forced his breathing into a normal steady pace. He wasn't going to let fear get a hold of him now.

::They growled even more furiously now that he was in the yard, in their territory. Their barks echoed and the Professor heard it and headed outside. It was usually a squirrel they barked at..::
For such an event, it was still a beautiful sunny morning::

For all his humanity..Kane found a likeness to himself in these dogs..they were protective of their home..of their territory...just like he was with Risa...He growled...his eyes finding their's as he stood.
"You are not my enemy..I'm getting in and getting out..that's all...I just want the Bird." He kept their stare long enough, vaulting over their backs suddenly to land just beyond them. Kane took off at a sprinting pace, feeling their teeth right behind him. He leapt into the nearest tree and climbed higher into the branches...toward a window that had carelessly been left open...the Psycho should know better...Kane had no sympathy for someone who was allowing him to tresspass and break and enter.

::The professor yelled at the dogs to shut up and went back inside, digging his pinky in his ear, and slamming the door behind him.
The dogs watched their prey jump over them but were too late to respond. They just laid down in the grass in defeat.

Inside, I sat up, hearing the professor yell. I sigh and wrap my wings around myself::

Kane hit the carpet without a sound. He was squatting in a room that looked like it might have been an office...for Dr. Frankenstein....skulls and organs lined the bookcases and anatomy charts flowed off the desk in front of him.
Kane stood and slunk to the door..there were footsteps, so he waited until they had passed before slipping out into the hall.

He found the kitchen....then the living room...then the bathroom..alll of which were useless...unless you were either hungry, bored, or really had to go. He cursed softly as he headed back, wishing he knew where Risa was.

::Strolling down the hallway in his robe, the professor yawned big and thought about checking in on Risa... but then no, he was hungry. His body cried 'shower', and his hankering for coffee was getting to him.
He rubbed his eyes as he lallygagged into the massive kitchen. He started the coffee pot and dragged off to the bathroom, pulling a towel from the door and starting the shower.
Feeling the water carefully, he smiled and dropped his robe, slipping into the crystal shower. The bathroom was naturally lit with the light from the outside; it steamed up fast as his shower seemed to get hotter; he didnt mind. It felt great on his tired soul.

In my cell I sat on the cold steel and stroked my right wing. No matter how long I rest in one place, the steel under me never seemed to get warmer... I shivered and pulled off the stickers that were stuck to me from yesterday... and stuck them to the bars. They left a sticky residue on my once silky skin and I just sighed, sobbing in that process. The sun was now midday, and only a speck of light was on the floor from a boarded up window above my prison. I thanked the Lord that I could somewhat see...even if I had to widen my eyes like a wild cat to see my hand in front of my face, but it was better than pure darkness.::

...Kane wanted to scream...this house was a fortress on the outside, and a Labyrinth on the inside...why couldn't people have NORMAL homes instead of mansions? Why did everything have to be so damned hard on him? He was almost caught once...the Professor Psycho had made his way into the hallway just as Kane ducked into a spare room...full, again, with skulls and books on anatomy of humans and birds...if Kane didn't know any better he'd say this guy had been studying Risa for a while now. He stumbled out into the hall again and made his way down a staircase that he'd found behind a door just before he was forced to take cover...it seemed to wind down and around forever....or until the darkness swallowed it whole.

::I heard the slight pitter patter of running footsteps. I brushed it off, thinking it was one of the dogs or mysterious butlers that seemed to lurk silently in the shadows.. the steps seemed to get closer to my tower which contained my cell.. I shivered, hoping it wasnt the professor for more experiments, so early in the morning... I still ached all over, and some of my wounds were still fresh.

Turning off the shower, the Professor stepped out and dried off, and wrapped a towel around his waist. He trudged into the kitchen's and pulled down a mug and pured himself some coffee, turning on a small LCD screen set on the bar. The news talked of Chidori, and how the girl who "assaulted" her has yet to be found. The professor grinned and sipped his coffee and read the morning paper.::

Kane found himself in a large room at the bottom of the stairs...he gaped openly at the machinery that was scattered about the room, and he wandered through the cords as though in a trance.
"She can't be in here." He muttered to himself. Surely...surely the psycho wasn't that cruel...but then again..that look that he gave Kane when he'd punched him....dictated otherwise.
"Risa?" He called softly.
"Are you in here?"

::I open my eyes wide, the darkness spoke to me I knew I started to lose it.
"Hm?" I sat up, getting closer to the bars. I touched them, it and they shocked me; I had no idea they were electrified. I flew backward, as the room lit up; there was an outline of a figure and I wrapped my wings around myself and shivered. My body was surged with electricity all over again and I just cried. I was tired of being in pain.."::

He was sure he'd heard it...it was..it was crying....he moved over to where he heard it and banged his shin against...something..Kane cursed under his breath and mutterd.
"Just like old times huh? Never could walk in the dark." He leaned out to grab ahold of something to keep his balance as he rubbed his shin, and whatever he'd grabbed shifted down, he fell onto his face and the sound of the machines died away...Kane rubbed his nose and looked around...he guessed he'd turned off the power to something...but what he didn't know.
