He grinned and laughed at the suprized expression on his face. "You've never spun a disc before Kane?" He chuckled as his eyes danced about the room following the movements of the students around him, calculating his next moves.

::Kisa ran up to him smiling "That was such an awesome shot!!! Great job in showing Kane who's boss!" She was joined by their teammates who congratulated him as well, surrounding the newcomer::

Kane cocked his head.
"A what? I've played frisbee...but that's about it." He was about to head back to his position when his stomach let out a particularly loud growl. He looked around blushing and covered his lower belly with a hand.
"Heh...That's my alarm I guess." He turned to the coach and acted surprised.
"Oh man! I forgot! Coach!! I was supposed to meet a teacher before lunch, I have to go!" He smiled and waved to Zahara indicating that he would be on the roof and raced out the gym doors after grabbing his things from where he'd lain them aside..not willing to risk the lockers in the boys room.

Kane bust out into the air and sucked in a breath. This was where he'd needed to be all day, there was a certain...feeling up here that seemed to brighten his mood considerably.

"Huh? Uhm thanks.. but.. what? Wait! Man your positions! What are you doing!" He watched as the other players took control of the ball and headed up to the court. And that.. is why I work alone... damnit..

::I jerk my head up, seeing Kane fly out of the door "Well hello there sweatball. Have fun?" I laugh and pat the ground beside me. "Hungry? I figured you would be by this time." I yawn and twitch my wings under my clothes and look to the bright sky "Its so beautiful, for an October day.."::

He let out an exasperated sigh feeling as though he was surrounded by people with an intellect no greater than fodder.
Where did you slip off to Kane... His eyes narrowed and quickly darted in the coach's direction.

::the coach blows the whistle "alright everyone. Thats it for today, go get showered and go to lunch. Good play, Zahara. I look forward to your skills in the future." He patted his shoulder and walked off to his office.
Kisa smiled and took Zaharas arm, and looked up at him "Hey.. are you doing anything tomorrow?"::

He jolted at the sound of the blaring whistle. Do honestly think LOUDER means clearer!! RAAAGGHHH He winced and felt his eye twitch in response.
He calmed down annd looked dully out in front of him as the man patted him. "Thank you sir.." He said with a flat uninterested expression and turned to walk out to the hall until he noticed his arm was being weighted down.
He turned and looked down to see Kisa's smiling face staring up at him.
"Huh? uh.. I dont know.. " He tilted his head in confusion, not being versed well in 'social' skills. "Why do you ask?

::Her eyes glistened "Well, tomorrow is the Carnival at Central, and everyone is going with someone... Will you go with me? Please?" The class rushed past them to shower and dress; they were now alone in the gym, the air was filled with body oder and humidity.::

My god if I hear one frienship speech I'm dumping your head first into the garbage.. "Uhm.. sure. "
This might give me a chance to both, gather information, and also blend in a bit more, I dont want to seem suspiscious..
He coughed into his white sleeve from the pungent stench of sweaty children and walked off leaving his coat behind him.

(Hahah, reference to the abridged series. "F-ing birds")

:: She squealed and hugged him, then ran off to the girls locker room "Ill see you in class then!!! We'll talk about when and where to meet up then!!!"::

He flinched as the hugging beast came forward and braced himself as she put her arms around him.

"wah! ah.. Uh-huh.." He said in a defeated tone, closing his eyes and faking a smile.
He turned around quickly the moment she released him and headed for the hall, waving behind him in response to her bringing up plans to meet up.

The light clicking of boots could be heard echoing through what seemed to become a wind tunnel. He shifted his head to the side allowing the wind to carry his hanging hair away from his face. As he reached the top, he stood in the doorway and leaned against it casually, crossing his arms and holding his chin with an interested expression. "I see Risa will be joining us today."

He smiled and looked off to the side in a playful manner thinking to himself.

Kane smiled and nodded.
"As much fun as you can have falling on your face for most the game." He laughed and took his place beside her, his own box shoved into his bag. He quickly remedied that and dove into the food, eating eagerly. Zahara would be there soon.

Speak of the devil. Kane managed a wave his mouth crammed with food and shook his head with a swallow.
"For lunch yeah, what took you so long Drac, with your disappearing skills I thought you'd have been right behind me." Kane finished off what little there was left and smiling stretched out his back, then his legs.

::I smiled as he sat down, and looked up at Zahara. "Ill finish my lunch, then I'll leave you two alone.." I ate quickly, not looking up at Zahara. He made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't really want to be near him, in fear he may find me out somehow.::

"I haven't the slightest idea of what your talking about Kane."
He spoke in an airy tone and rested his head on the door frame.

"You should enlighten me on these things so that I can live up to your expectations."

He chuckled and turned his head towards Risa.
"No need to rush, I quite enjoy your company.."

He smiled and turned his eyes from her.
"That is, if you don't mind mine.. Then I suppose I couldn't keep you here."

He sighed lightly and watched the clouds roll slowly across the sky.
"This weather is lovely.."
His eyes seemed to be entranced as he spoke.
"I cannot wait for Autumn.."

"Yeah, yeah," He smiled standing.
"My expectations aren't that high, you could reach them if you'd read a few comics now and again." Kane listened and quirked an eyebrow.
"Getting misty-eyed over there about the weather are we?" He walked over and smacked Zahara's back in a friendly manner.
"This is new. Never pegged you to get sentimental." He nodded in agreement though.

::I took a deep breath, finishing up my lunch and closing the lid. I did feel uncomfortable around Zahara, but I had an odd feeling and I didn't wanna leave the two of the alone. I pulled out my sketch book and started to sketch the clouds. I was bored and didnt want to intrude on their friendly conversation. I found it nice to have Kane have a male friend anyway.::

He pushed off the door frame and shook his head with a smile. "Now what can I possibly learn from those things.. besides how to suck?" He shot him an odd look and smirked before returning his attention to the horizon.

"Misty Eyed? Wh- AH!" His eyes widened as he jumped. He turned around trying to play it off. "It seems I'm just full of surprises anymore. Thats twice now.. What kind of person did you expect me to be?" He spoke in a tone that was more of a joke than asking a question.
"..but I am glad that you agree." He tilted his head and smiled in a childlike manner before his attention turned to his watch.
"Now, what were you planning to do up here anyway?"

"Who Dracula is." He chuckled and popped his knuckles....he was feeling a lot better now that he was out of gym.

"I don't know....cold...cynical....odd...but you're actually pretty normal..whatever normal is!" Kane smacked his fist into his open palm his eyes shooting wider.
"That's right! My best!" He moved over to the wall and unlaced his boots, shoving them off into a remote corner of the roof, his socks stuffed into them. Kane wriggled his toes around on the concrete as he stripped out of his jacket, leaving only a tank.
"How you want to do this?" He asked turning his head to Zahara.
"Exhibition, or one-on-one? Choice is yours...I'd prefer one on one though."

::I groaned, slamming my book shut and standing up hastily "...and this is my cue to leave. I don't feel like watching a fight. See you in class guys.." I yawn and walk past Kane and Zahara into the building, my stare at the ground as I walked down the steps "damn boys, always fighting...don't they ever get tired of it?" I said to myself and got to the bottom of the steps.::

"Cold, cynical, hahah, you cant expect me to be exploding with enthusiasm 24/7"

He chuckled and shook his head.
"But normal, I am not familiar with that term. We are all different, I don't recall seeing a cookie cutter shape for human."

He raised his brow as he watched him suddenly undressing.
Now what is he trying to prove? Wait a minute..

He looked at the tank, not seeing what he was expecting.
So.. he is normal after all.. What a disappointment.

"Ah, so that's what you wanted me here for. Have I waved the red flag already?"
(early reference to past roof top conversation)

This wouldn't seem like such a waste of time, if it wasn't for the other one acting so suspicious.. if I want information from her, I'll need to maintain my connection with this one..

"No, I suppose that that's pushing it a little isn't it?" He smirked and twisted his upper body, stretching out.

"Red flag? Huh? Oh, no. This is just an easier way to give my all, there's no restrictions on the street, so I can go all out without worrying about hurting people...well...other students in a 'supervised' enviroment."
He turned with a smile and nodded.
"That's why I asked how you wanted to do this." He turned to the door and shook his head.
"I just wish Risa wouldn't have run off like she did...if we went head to head it'd only be a friendly spar...nothing serious." He scratched the back of his head.
"Can't imagine what's gotten into her."

::The bell rang and I started to sprint. My body still ached. I had a feeling it would for a long time. I rushed to my locker and pulled out my art supplies and paper and slammed it shut, running back to class.
Stares..its all I got..and whispers, amongst the crowds in the hallway. Last week I was new new girl and no one knew me..now I'm the killer psycho and everyone hated me. I paced, racing on, bumping into a tall man from behind. I fall backwards and he turns around, biting into an apple
"Risa, are you okay? Be more careful.." It was my art teacher. He put out a hand and I took it, he pulled me to my feet. I thanked god my ArtBin didnt smash open and I sighed "I'm not late am I?"
Bill smiled, throwing the core of his apple into a nearby trashcan. "Not at all. Oh, and there's something in my classroom for you. Ill see you in there, I need to grab some lights."
He waved and walked off. I cocked my head to the side Something, for me? I wondered and entered the classroom.
I took my normal seat by the window and sighed, unpacking my supplies. Kisa sat beside me and smiled "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have a date tomorrow!"
I rolled my eyes "beat it.. I don't have time to listen to your fretting.." I wondered who in the would would go out with her and sighed deeply, preparing my paper on my board. Was it Zahara? He didn't seem like the type to date a prissy girl like Kisa. I sighed deeply and glanced out the window, wondering if the fighting pair would show to class.::

"Just a little"
He returned his smirk with a grin.
"I'll let you make that call."

He took the cuffs out of his shirt and spoke as he unbuttoned the rest.
"I was looking forward to getting to know you two a bit more. Is she always that skittish?"

He pulled off his shirt and knelt down to straighten it on the ground.
He folded the sleeves and collar, neatly rolling it in a habitual manner. Standing up with it in his hand he walked over and placed it on the bench.

As his back was turned long dark ripping scars were revealed running along his pale skin. He took off his boots and tucked them under the bench.

He rose and approached Kane, standing about five feet away from him.

* He brought his arms up by his sides and quickly back down with a bow, his head still tilted up with eyes on Kane.

He spread his legs apart about shoulder length and raised his arms from his sides in an almost circular motion at shoulder height, breathing in deeply; Closing his open hands into fists as a means of gathering energy. He quickly breathed out making an "Iss" sound as he twisted his wrists inwards and thrusted them down in front of him. A sign of focusing energy.*


He slid his left foot in back as he seemed to imitate a loose boxing stance. Covering his right ear with his right, his left temple with his left. His knees were slightly bent and his weight was focused on the balls of his feet.

He then held his left fist out towards him as a sign of respect for his opponent; That he wasnt here to harm.

(Rolling the uniform is a military thing, and also a respectable thing to do in martial arts schools. Um, you know what "tapping gloves" means.. or at least I'd assume. Opponents tap gloves before fighting to show its only in sport, and they arent out to damage the other.)

* These actions are fairly quick, I just timed myself casually doing this at four seconds. It may seem long but they are very quick, respectful, habitual actions.

"Then I'll try to make it a fair one."

Kane shrugged.
"I guess...she's always a bit nervous...well, that is until she gets to know you, then she'll lighten up, I wouldn't let it get to you."

Kane rotated his jaw a few times watching Zahara's preperation, it was interesting enough, none of the other guys at the school did anything nearly as elaborate, even if it was short. Usually they just started swinging. He smiled..this might be fun.

Kane returned the gesture, tapping Zahara's outstretched fist once, before returning to his stance and turned partially to one side, he was slightly ambidextirous, but he still preferred his right foot forward. Right arm was faster, stronger..and..just more comfortable.

((I'm assuming that I return the fist thing. XD Need to read up on these things don't I? That or watch more K-1))
