"Awwwww...do you have to??" He let his head fall to one side, so much for that idea. He supposed Juri had done it...to take the place of their parents...he didn't want anyone seeing him naked as a baby..but he really couldn't blame Juri for trying.

"Sano..." Kane growled, kneeling to help Risa.
"Bastard. Why can't you just leave her alone?"

Ohh...that did it. Kane smiled. He'd heard Risa, but Sano had just pushed him a little too far.
"Aw come on, can't you pick something with more balls to it? Like the target shoot? Oh that's right, you can't handle that because you have none." He smiled darkly, meanacingly.
"Fine, Karts it is, but not for Risa, I'm going to do this just to show the world how much of a weak little pansy you are." He stepped forward and shoved Sano's shoulder just a little, leaning in to where their faces were almost touching.
"Since you know you can't take me in a real fight."

I nodded. "Of course. Id love to see what you looked like as a baby."

Sano shrugged.
"Because shes the hottest virgin in the class. I cant leave that alone, but isn't that why you're with her too, Red? Could've sworn you told someone you were only with her to get in her pretty pink panties..."

I blushed and whipped my head to look at Kane, saying nothing. Was Sano lieing?

Sano chuckled, tapping his groin.
"Oh I've got 'em but theyre not for you Red, I'm saving them for this sweet lady here... I dont swing that way..." [oh, I DID go there XD]

He spit into his face.
"Now now, no kisses in public Kane... maybe you and I will ride the ferris wheel...or not." He laughed, placing his hands on his hips. The announcer to the go karts called for all racers to get ready.

"Oh wait, Risa wasn't that bathing suit of yours pink? That must have been it, wow Risa, they're really jealous of you if they think you look that sexy in a bathing suit."

Kane merely smiled wiping off his face with a thumb.
"That'd be nice, maybe I can steal a kiss at the top, that way you wouldn't have to worry about it being in public, and who knows, maybe I can even get to second base before we come down....you know I'm that good too."

"OHHH but you've seen her close to naked? And here I thought she couldn't swim...Ill let the coach know to let you participate in swimming next warm day for the pool. I cant wait to see you in that pink bathing suit...goes to show Kane is getting somewhere..."

Sano frowned.
"Sorry, I have to keep them protected, for her." he thumbed to me.

Sano grinned evilly, looking deep into Kane's green eyes.
"Oh, I look forward to it..." Was he joking...? He looked like he was serious...

Kane crossed his arms.
"I didn't say she 'swam'. I just said she was in a bathing suit. There's more to do than just swimming when you wear a bathing suit. Like sunbathe, but I don't guess Risa tans very well."

"Too bad...I bet they'd make a nice splatter." Kane's face got that sinister grin to it again and his bared his teeth in a smile.

"Nice to know you want me that badly Sano, I'll have to tell all the girls at school that you bat for [i]both[i] teams." He headed off.
"Shouldn't we get going if we're going to do this? Annonouncer's already called for us."

[I did have a very LONG and rough day, LOL. I got lost trying to get to a museum... and trying to get back to school...x.x' then I was smelly from sweating and had to sit in my english class all...smelly and alert from coffee...>.<

Sano only grinned, sliding an index finger under my chin.
"Oh what I wouldn't give to see you with that amount of clothing off..."

Sano laughed, bearing his teeth as well.
"Ill show you a splatter Kane..."

I watched him walk off and went to run after him when Sano locked his arm in mine.
"C'mon sweety, humor me."
"Drop dead" I replied coldly.
He stroked my cheek with a free hand.
"After I whip him in this race, you will feel differently."
"I doubt it. Winning a mere race doesn't change the @sshËšle you are."
He laughed, sliding his hand from my cheek to my collarbone.
"We'll see."


Approaching the stand, Sano kissed my hand and headed towards the cars, picking the #1, of course. He flashed me a smile while I wiped my hand off on my already filthy dress.
"GO KANE! KICK HIS BUTT!"

The announcer raised a checkered flag. Only 3 people were in the cars; Kane, Sano and another random kid we didn't know.
"Ready..."
Sano revved his engine.

He turned back, hackles raising another notch as Sano lingered.
"Come on! Or do you want to forfeit? In that case Risa and I can go on without bothering here! We do have stuff to do you know."

Kane had his pick of karts and he smiled.
"Lucky number thirteen....always a classic." For Kane, most things that seemed to be bad luck or taboo...always seemed to be the luckiest. He smiled, as he headed for the start.
"Sorry kid." He said looking over.
"Things are going to get a little messy out there...this is for a girl you see." He saulted in farewell and hunched down over the wheel, glancing over to Risa and nodding.
"I'm not about to lose." He mouthed. Not to Sano, not to that crazy psycho doctor, or rabid fangirls, not to ANYone. He'd been shot, stabbed, and broken hearted too much to let his Little Bird get caught in another man's net. He sat there, idling biding his time.

Sano sent a glare to Kane, revving his engine again.

"GO!" he waved the flag and in a puff of smog, Sano was off in the lead. There was 5 laps to this race, around a 1/2 mile track. His foot was down hard on the gas, his adrenaline pumping.. Risa would be his... even if it meant killing Kane...
He looked back, laughing, then continuing on to the first turn.

Kanwe slammed on his own gas, shooting out, cutting off the number three car, and all but tailgating Sano's car.
"You've got to do better than that to get rid of me Sano!" He cried above the wind and the roar of his engine.

Sano yelled back, getting on the inside of the second turn.
"Oh no you dont, you punk!" He yelled back over the engines. He gained about a little distance between them on the track as he headed for third turn.
"EAT MY DUST, KANE!!!" He gripped the wheel tighter with sweaty hands...

KAne quirked an eyebrow.
"Okay, I'm offically scared now..you stay away from me crotchy."

"Oh I'll eat more than that." Kane's face was wild, and his eyes were wide and dark. He was having fun, he began to swerve into the curve, the little distance Sano had gained didn't make any difference with the speed that Kane was getting by drafting behind him, he was going to make sure that Juri got a big hug when he got home for all those racing videos she'd picked up for him at Okiku's. Jerry was the best.
He swung in deep and smashed against Sano's rear tire, reckless...that how he must have looked to the outside world, but he raced like he fought, like he did everything else. Dangerously. He'd give no quarter, because he knew he'd get none in return.
"Come on now! There's no sport in chasing a scared mouse! This wolf wants better prey than that!" His smile was wide, and his hair slapped against his face trailing behind him in a untamed mass of red and orange. At this point...it didn't matter who won...but who came out of this alive.
"RISK IT ALL TO GAIN IT ALL!"

Sano only laughed in response.

Sano kept a tight grip on the steering wheel of his kart... #1... I am number one... I will win Risa... He kept his eyes forward, hazy from the pumping of blood though his sweaty arms and fingers...
He swerved from the impact from my rear right tire and he cursed at Kane, not looking back. He caught his balance again at this high speed of..he glanced at his speedometer...35 mph. He grinned, his eyes getting dark under his bangs.
"Im not scared, just winning!" Lap one-complete. He went on, as hard as he could.

[im not good at these fast-paced things, so forgive me, I only started a fight to keep you entertained, LOL]

Kane smiled, that was only the beginning. Fear would set in in a few more minutes.
So the laps went, Kane drafting behind Sano, ramming into his side as much as he could. Then...there they were...last lap...Kane smiled, this was it.
They hit the first turn about the same time, and he made a last ditch effort to slam Sano into the wall before he missed his chance.

His constant ramming was getting on his nerves and he finally reached into his pocket and whipped open his pocket knife and threw it onto the track.

The announcer was getting nervous... this kind of behavior wasnt allowed on the track...not to mention they were denting and scratching the paint on the karts.

He floored the gas again and headed for turn 3. he laughed loudly, keeping his eyes set infront of him.

[Yeah i gotsa do it... we do lovey stuff all the time and i know you get bored with that...damn boys...ORLY? whatcha drawing?]

Kane just shook his head, dodging out of the way, but at least throwing the knife out sent him toward the outer edge of the track. Kane saw his opening and rammed his kart into the small area between Sano and the inner wall.
"That was really stupid of you." He smiled across the car.
"You could have used it right about now."

He steadied his wriggling kart and looked to his left.. how did he get on the inside? He glared at him and in the process, lost control, spinning out before getting to the finish line. He didnt put on his seatbelt and flew out of the seat in the fury of the gravity pulling him in circles, landing infront of the still rapidly spinning and hot #1 car... it landed on him... he screamed.

I yelled from the side as the kart started to smoke.
"KANE! HELP HIM!!"I screamed as hard as I could. My wings almost came out of my clothing I was so heated from this fight...the last thing I ever wanted was for either of them to get hurt.

The Announcer jumped over the wall with a first aid kit and headed towards the kart.

Kane didn't wait, he heard the screaming tires, Risa's cries, and the sickening smash of metal on concrete. He reached the kart before the announcer, and was shoving the pile of metal off of Sano.
"Idiot." He cursed under his breath. Though taboo was great for Kane...it always ended up like this...always bad for the other person.
"That's what you get for showing your butt Sano." He sighed kneeling beside him. For all the black marks on the road and the metal there scattered along the track...he didn't seem all that banged up.
"Are you going to be ok?" Kane asked offering him a hand up.

Sano was covered in sweat, oil, that was dripping from the engine, and street burn on his face and left side of his body. He shivered, his teeth chattered. His vision was painful and blurry.
"Kane..?" He said, trying to focus on him as his he and his hair dangled over him.
"My head hurts..." He said, lifting an arm to rub it. It was bleeding.
The announcer had pressed the 911 button and kneeled beside him. The sirens roared closer to the event.
"It'll be alright son. You should have worn your belt..." He said, pouring peroxide onto a gauze.
I stayed behind the fence; a crowd began to gather.
"KANE! IS HE ALRIGHT?" I yelled to him.

[Cheat? How so? and will you have free time int he summer?]

"You're alright, nothing worse than what I've had to deal with." He smiled, standing to his feet. He shoved his hands into his pockets and looked over his shoulder at Risa, and gave her a thumbs up.

I brethed a sigh of relief as i saw him stand and thumb me. My hand was over my heart the whole time; I didn't hate Sano, but I didn't like him either, but the last thing I wanted was for him to get hurt. I only wanted a nice day at the carnival and this goes on... then later ill havta meet up with Bat-boy. I groaned.

Kane nodded and took off, heading over the railing as soon as he could and running off to where the ambulance had parked.
"He's over there." He told the First Responders.

Once satisfied that his job was done, Kane made his way up to where Risa was.
"You okay?" He asked, worried about her pale skin.
"You seem kind of out of it."

I saw him coming, keeping my hands clasped together, tight. They were sweaty.
I watch the dispatchers run to where Sano was and I looked past Kane, wanting to see for myself if he was alright.
I looked up to him, my eyes kind of glassy.
"I should have made you two not fight for me... Im well aware you won... but..." I started to hiccup and I covered my face, shoulders bouncing. I hated when people got hurt, especially because of me.

I got a bit more happy, thinking of making sano happy. I looked to Kane. I was led away to the ground of games and prizes and looked around.
I pointed to a huge pink bear.
"KANEEE! THAT ONE! I think he'll like that one!!! Can we play???" I looked at him, my face still red from being upset, but now a bit excited, knowing once I win him something, Illl feel a bit better.
