Kane didn't say anything, so she HAD seen them up here....how complicated things had become.
"Did you threaten her?" He asked solmenly.
"Did you threaten to expose her to the world?" His voice got a little louder. He sighed and let himself be pushed back, he let Chidori do what she would with him, his face still as stone, returning none of the passion that she seemed to feed off.
"Chidori.." He started once she stopped.
"How many times must I tell you and the rest of them this: I don't like you, I don't like any of you! You've chased me up and down these halls for YEARS! I want nothing to do with you!" He turned and walked away, standing in front of the door.
"I want you to forget about Risa's secret. I want you to PROMISE, never to speak of it, and then....I want you to leave me alone." He didn't look back at her as he spoke.
"Do you understand?"

[XD Leopard was a pain to me... after I got it I couldnt use my PS7 anymore.... and I HAD to buy PSCs3.... for 300$ O.O]

She nodded.
"I did. I told her to leave you and I alone. If not, I would expose her secret to the media."
It hurt to hear she didnt like her but she shrugged it off.
"Well Ive had my eye son your for years, and I still feel as strongly as I did back then. Kane..."she looked to him as he stood up.
"Make me promise to you? After what youve done to me? Nah, I think I will expose her secret... unless...you go out with me... I have no reason to promise you anything."

((XDD I love it, well, all except for the new programs..I really don't like Indesgin all that much.))

Kane's back stiffened. He whirled and glared.
"You wouldn't dare..." Yet nothing in Chidori's eyes told him any different.
"You're sick, Chidori, you're a certifiable psycho..." His voice grew quieter.
"But to save Risa.....to fulfill my promise....I will do what you say." His shoulders slumped, defeat had found him, and it left a bitter taste in his mouth. Kane's stomach felt queasy, and he slumped to the ground, wanting to vomit.

[I was forced to use that program for my typography class. it has no point ¬.¬]

"I would, because I love you so much...and i only want to be with you, every since i was 7." She grinned, her shining teeth evidently happy that he had given in.
She went to his side and lifted his head up to look at her.
"I want you to tell me you love me Kane..."

((No kidding, I dislike it, but it is an Adobe program that is a vector program as well....that's about it's only redeeming feature.))

Kane's eyes flickerd angrily, but he sighed heavily and nodded.
"If you order it...so shall it be...." He looked at Chidori and uttered four words that made him want to hurl.
"I love you.....Chidori."

She looked into his eyes; they seemed so empty and she about faced.
"That was just as convincing is if u told me her wings were fake. I think ill tell the media... you obviously dont even wanna act like you love me..." she started to walk off.

Kane growled and stood, running after her and catching her arm.
"Chidori....." He 'humphed' and then jerked her around, bringing her mouth to his in a heated kiss.
"I love you.." he whispered.
"I love you, I love you, I love you..." His heart fell into his shoes...but all those years of acting for Juri paid off in spades. His words at least sounded real.
"Will that do....M'lady?" Again the thought of Risa broke into his thoughts and he almost found himself crying there in front of Chidori...but he steeled himself and he held her against him, his heart breaking.

She looked back for a brief moment as he caught her arm, then was swallowed, and consumed into a heated kiss. She closed her eyes and almost melted in his grasp... it...is all she ever wanted. He puled away and whispered those lovely words. Her eyes swelled up looking into his.
"Kane..." she muttered. Her eyes met with his again and she simply wrapped her arms around his shoulders and held him close.
"Yes... it'll do..." she said softly.


Meanwhile, I had finished my shopping, only only spent about 15 dollars. I was quite proud of myself as I headed back to school, shoving the bag into my locker as the bell rang for the next class. It would be math, and I hurried off to the class, as if I didnt even cut gym...

Kane, after skipping out completely on his examination, decided it was all the better for him, and set his mind on what was ahead. Math, he hated all those numbers, but still, at least it was better than thinking about what had happened out on the roof...not that it was really going to matter, he was sure, with as desperate as Chidori seemed out there, that in a matter of hours, the entire school was going to know he was 'hers'...great....how was Risa going to take the news...he cursed himself and wondered how quickly he could die from a stab wound from a mechanical pencil.

Chidori had rushed off, assuring Kane she would save him a seat as she went to her locker and to the girls bathroom the change quickly.
In the classroom, I sat down in t he last desk in the back of the room, in the corner, beside the window. My face was still a bit red from being outside in the heat in my uniform and sweat pants. I pulled out my homework and looked on, wondering if I should have skipped out on the whole day like planned, or what. I wondered of Kane got my note. I sighed as the empty room began to fill.

Kane wandered in amongst the first-comers and glanced over...big mistake. There sat Risa, he sighed, and looked away quickly before anything passed between them, opting to sit in at the very back, that way, he could make the excuse of being the last one out in order to avoid her...not like that was going to help anything, but still...he really couldn't face her right now, not when his felt this badly.

[Its good, i really want that program now. I keep trying to figure out how the screening works, like photoshop's lasso or what.. XD]

I looked up as Kane walked in, his expression seemingly so empty. I looked away, out the window, anywhere, to avoid seeing him... it hurt.
Soon after, Chidori came in and rolled her eyes as she saw me sitting in the back of the room. She sat down in the front of the room and patted the sat for Kane to sit beside her as she pulled out her books.
"Alright everyone take your seats." He looked over his glasses as the students all got to an empty seat, still hot, sweaty and red from gym.
"I know you all had a long gym session... while the rest fo you did not. I got a note from the gym teacher for...Chidori, Kane and Risa to report to the nurses office immediately."
I put my head in my hands... I would surely fail gym if I kept avoiding the health exam. I stood slowly.

Kane's butt hovered over his seat, he'd already indicated to Chidori that she was a little late, his stuff was already in that one, but then came the dreaded news.
"I got a note from the gym teacher for...Chidori, Kane and Risa to report to the nurses office immediately."
Damn...so much for that. He stood and sighed, heading out before the other two, better to get it over with and NOT have to bother talking with them during, or after the wait.
"Good as gone." He said with a wave as he headed out.

[oh okay, sounds simple. i wish there was a screen tone thing in Photoshop...it would make my life easier >.>]

I sighed ans gathered my things and walked to the door and out into the empty hallway. Chidori gripped her things and strided beside me.
"YOu should have avoided the exam. Now I will not eb the only one who knows." she said, looking over at me. I glared back at her.
"Who asked you...leave me alone. Go catch up with your boyfriend."
She grinned.
"Oh you already heard? Yeah... we had a nice gym session of our own on the roof."
My heart sank and I strided faster, and finally entered the nurses office.
The nurse looked up from her paper.
"Oh, the other two cutters. Sit down as we start with the boy first." It was Kanes favorite doctor, Joy, waiting for him in an an closed private area in the next room.

((You could probably make your image a Grayscale and then just make a Black pallet for your tones. Like Black 30% is red, Black 10% for skin like that, and then just use the fill button, erasing again, what you didn't need))

"Well?" Kane said with a sigh.
"What do I have to do? Turn my head and cough?" He looked over the nurse's shoulder and sighed, then placing his hand next to his mouth whispered.
"How do they look to you? Can you tell if they're mad at me?"

[but it doesnt have the same effect as the screen tone look. I like the hand-done look of manga, like the little dots wouldnt be there, yah know...? The density fot he dots = less or more opacity, depending on how close they were put together in the image. Im old fashioned that way, I guess.]

She shut the door and looked to him.
"Take off your shoes, and your headband. I also have to---" she stopped and looked to him.
"Sweety, coming to me for advice other than fighting? Come now, who could have you so heated up, my little butter ball.." she looked out the curtains of the small window on the closed door. I sat, and Chi sat on the other end of the bench, looking at her nails. I on the other hand, was sweating bullets, twiddling my fingers and tapping my foot.
"They look bored, the one with the long hair looks very nervous and like theres alot on her mind. Now step up onto the scale sweety."

((*Shrugs* I used Photoshop alot before I got this stuff, XDD..*looks over at first stuff*....Ehhhnnn...I can see what you mean though.))

Kane did as directed and he sighed, blushing and nodding.
"Well, your advice was never reliable in a fight Miss Joy...and now....THEY'RE out there!!!" He sighed.
"Hey.." He started..
"Can...Can you do me a favor? The one with the long hair....Risa...can you just go ahead and pass her out of here? I mean without an exam? She told me she's got an appointment with her family doctor tomorrow..and she's really, really nervous, so...ease up on her? For me?" He put on his best pleading face and batted his eyelashes....With Risa or not, he still had a promise to keep.

[yeah *le sigh*]

She sighed and wrote down his weight on the clip board.
"I do my best yah know." she said smugly, pulling up the ruler to measure him.
"Pass her out? Hun, you know i cant do such a thing. I can lose my job for that. Doctor or not, she needs to get an examination every year by the school facility." She pressed, making him sit down to wrap the blood pressure thing on his arm, and looking to her watch as she pumped the air.
"Why, you have a thing for her or sumthin?"

Kane sighed.
"Figures.." He looked past the nurse as she checked his blood pressure and nodded.
"Kind of.....I...made her mom a promise...." He felt his head droop and his eyes fell.
"I promised her mom that I'd watch out for her...keep her safe you know? And now......I can't do that...because...of complications....I can't even tell her I love her now.."

[ok nighty]

"Sorry sugar." She wrote down his blood pressure then pulled a comb out of the plastic package and started to part his hair.
"Her mother? You two are that close? You love this girl? Well, whats stopping all this?" she asked as she finished with his hair and threw out the comb. She put her stethoscope on and placed it on his chest.
"'breathe in.."

((YO!))

He looked over as Joy brought out her comb and started to sift through his hair.
"Would you believe it's the other girl out there?" He sighed.
"Chi's got something on Risa...and it's the very thing I told Risa's mom that I'd keep under wraps you know?" He turned away and plopped his head on a hand.
"Now I can't do anything to help Risa, else Chidori's gonna blab all over creation!"
He breathed in as directed and waited till he could breathe out to go on...well, that and he didn't want to give more information than he needed to relate the story.

[HIya!]

"...brethe out..." she said and then went to his back and did the same thing.
"Brethe in.. then out."
She wrote down what she needed and then put the pen behind her ear and sat down beside him.
"So, Chidori is blackmailing Risa into keeping you two apart so she can finally have you all to herself? Right?" she rubbed her chin.
"What a predicament...blackmail sucks." She ran a heavy hand over his hair.
"Im sure it will all work out. Whatever Risa has to hide, Im sure I can hide too, I guess." she merely thouoght it was a simple secret...

((*groans and falls out of chair* I hate art blocks!!!!))

He breathed out...well, huffed out is more like it, but then breathed in and out again.
"Happy?" He asked when she turned around to write it all down.
He hung his head and nodded.
"Yeah.." He smiled over at her wearily.
"You ain't kidding there." He muttered. Kane hopped off the table and shook his head.
"Thanks Joy...but..the less people that know about this the better....you know?"

[another one...? >.> I have so much art to do and work on its insane... ive had this image of a painting i wanna do in my head for about a month now and I just dont have the time (and materials at Tims) to do it... I cant wait to move, so Ill have everything in one spot and I can do whatever, whenever...]

"Happy? About this? Its all routine stuff." She stoond, patting his back.
"Well, back to class with you. I have Chidori to look at next."
She huffed, crossing her arms.
"Come now Im good at secrets. I kept it secret from your sister than you cut classes in here when you need to huh? And how many fights youre in on school grounds?"

((Yeeeaaaahhhhh.....*dies* OO! A painting? I've never really been good with paints, but yours are flippin awesome! Good luck on it though =^.^=))

He stuck out his tounge playfully and nodded.
"Yeah, yeah....routine huh?"
He headed out thinking:
This....isn't even close to those...

He stepped out of the room to meet the two girl's gazes.
"Chi..." He said hesitantly.
"You're next." Then he just stood there....his hands in his pockets trying to convince his legs to move and his mouth to stay shut.
