I've been on lots and lots of planes. x.x My first time on a plane was some time in grade school, and I didn't fly often growing up, but since moving out to the east coast, I'm flying somewhere every couple of months.

I missed Christmas last year, and it was really sad. I went with my roommate's family, so it wasn't like I was alone, but I couldn't go home because I was working at Barnes and Noble and they didn't allow employees to take vacations over the holidays.

Retail can be difficult at holiday times.

Yeah. At my Barnes and Noble, a girl who had been working there a long time quit right before the holiday because she thought they'd hire her back afterwards, but they refused. Not because she wasn't a good worker, but because she didn't work the holidays.

When I was growing up I never flew. I think I was 17 the first time I did and that was to my brothers boot camp graduation. Then I didn't fly again until I was 20, and that was from CA to VA to see scott XD (Elizabeth city is right up on the border and so the closest airport is Norfolk. And I did that trip twice. Visited him for mothers day weekend with out any kids, and then again when he graduated A school. Both were awesome weekends. and the only time in recent times I can remember being with him with out kids around in years XD I like having a window seat and I enjoy turbulence. :P

I just sort of mess around on my laptop or read a book. I barely even notice that we're flying. XD

A laptop would be wonderful to have to pass the time. Then I could still be here with my friends.

I always wanted a laptop. When I was a child I wanted a toy laptop. When I turned eighteen and was looking for a computer, I insisted on a laptop. My parents were like, "No one else at your college is going to have a laptop" but I insisted.

XD And nearly everyone at my college had a laptop.
Four of my five roommates did.

Oh ok, I didn't realize that. I would love to have a laptop. Someday I will have one.

When I was first getting one, I insisted that laptops had to be black. I couldn't get a dell because they were silver, and silver is not a laptop color.

Pink laptop? That's interesting and pretty darn cool.

Really, though, I don't think I could actually use a pink laptop. <<,, I'd feel embarrassed to take it places.

I'm not sure if I could or not. I'm just so used to black but times are changing.

Dell has color options...might have been the pink one Mel saw. There were these commercials with all the colors. *o* So pretty!

I was in the library today and I couldn't find a place to sit or an outlet to use because there were laptops Everywhere. It was kind of funny because I was thinking about this conversation.

I want a laptop with wireless connection. That would be so cool. Then I could sit in the living room and watch TV and be here at the same time.

I think almost all of them do now. They just come with it.
