So, I figure I might as well post this. I'm not very good, I don't think, but...

http://xxanna-chanxx.deviantart.com/

I definetly know where my faults in my artwork are, also...
As you can see I'm far better with just a pencil than I am any colored media, so I tend to do stuff in pencil unless it absolutely must be colored.

Also, this is a better example of my actual style, and is my most recently posted piece--
http://xxanna-chanxx.deviantart.com/...ketch-62515046

I am ALSO very aware of the... um, mushy looking texture. Blame the scanner. I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to look better via photoshop, until we can get a new one! (We as in... I'm fourteen, thus implying my PARENTS can get a new one)

Thank you so much for your time. I'd love to hear what you think!

Your art is really great for your age :] I'd have your say your art is great in general. There's a great sense of proportion, facial expression, emotion, shading, perspective, and clothing. I'd love to see what kind of art you'll be making within the next couple of years.

Your coloring is decent, and once you get the hang of it it'll make your art even more great. I like how you have the cartoony style. It's not exactly anime, and that's a good thing.

Keep working, and practicing! It's comming along great :] You have quite the tallent.

I really like your drawing style. Afte rseeing the same kind of thing over and over, it really is a relief to see something so unique.

You're good. Especially for you're age. I lean more towards realism, so it's hard for me to critique anything else, but from what I can see, you're doing great.

Nathuram> I seriously cannot thank you enough. I really appreciate hearing that! I love hearing it when people like my artwork.
I also thank you for pointing that out; I try to stay away from doing straight anime. I like it but, a load of people do it and I want my artwork to stand out and not look the same.

Again, thank you so much!

Sanctuary> Thank you! I try to make mine look different.
And, that's just fine. Realism is a neat style and certainly a talent if people can pull it off.
Again, thank you so much, though; I'm glad you like my artwork!

I like your style. For a 14 year old you are good. I think at the same level as me when I was at that age. But I think I was less good at proportions. ^^ And more advanced in coloring.
So good job. ^.~

As for the scanner, I don't like my scanner ether, but there is this adjust button that I use to adjust my image. maybe you could try that out if you have that button. Or use photoshop to modify it.

Nathuram> Wow, you think so? Thank you! I'll do that, and post my newest pieces worth, well, posting, on this topic. I hope my artwork will live up to your expectations, and thank you for your support!

crystal_wings6> Thank you! I sat around and drew with a pencil loads, and I guess I tended to try to work on my lineart before I did my coloring.

As for my scanner, there is an option sort of like that, but I think the problem is the sharpness of the lines? If you look at it, they've got a kind of smuded look; they do not look like that, I can promise that. I make sure they're as clean as I can, so I've been trying to figure out how to fix that on photoshop. I sort of figured something out, it'll do until we can get a better scanner!

Caeluma> Thank you!

Eh he the top one made me chuckle, I love the first charater's expression of aboslute insanity. XD And your Anna pics are always awesome, simply for her expressions, I luffed them.

*Edit* ADD moment: HA!!! I'm not the only one obsessed with your signature WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That animation is awesome!!!

I really like your art and style. :3 I have to say I love pencil sketches. I think the images are coming out all right on your scanner as it is, but I don't have a good feel for that kinda thing. >w<

~On a random topic from the path- I must have been staring at your signature for a good five minutes. It's addicting and I'm sure I've told you that before.

Hatch> Ahaha, thank you so much! That fellow was for an art trade; all of her characters are so awesomely psycho!

As for that, I enjoy drawing Anna alot, she looks either confused or annoyed, or um... emotionless half the time. Again, thank you, though!

`Ari> Thank you so much! Yes, I think pencil sketches look great, also. You can get alot of depth with them.

I guess alot of my thing is that we used to have this really great scanner, it scanned in everything perfectly. But it messed up and we had to get this older scanner, and everything looks kind of smeared, atleast I think so.

As for that... yes, that thing's crazy, I think it has mind control powers. You'd ought to see the whole opening to that! If you'd like to, look up "Lucky Star OP" on Youtube, should bring it up.

EDIT:
Okay, so, I figured I'd post the new two I've done; admittedly neither are GREAT, and I really need to crack down and get back to drawing. It's not that I don't want to but it's been hard to find time to do it.

On another subject... I was thinking about opening an art shop. I'm thinking chibis, as they're easier for me to do without holding anyone up for too long, although I could do just, well, not chibi ones, too. If I were to open one, would anyone be interested? And how much would anyone be willing to pay? My best chibi example I've done recently was this of one of my friends characters--
http://xxanna-chanxx.deviantart.com/...ketch-60942438

Again, thank you guys for viewing! I'm wanting to try to make some sprites, soon; if I get any of those done, I'll post them.

Erm erm, whoever the first poster is, age doesnt really matter on how you draw xD
Just experience mostly. Practice makes perfect.

Anyways, I luff your style! But something seems a lil off in the drawings : S Maybe its cause Im too used to bright colors or something. Bleh.

Haha, that might be it, then! I'm used to doing things in pencils; infact, I don't use colors alot, I can say I'm working on a bright one, though. Thank you either way, I'm glad you like my style so much!

You're really good for that age- Really really good.
I like your style too. Very unique.
Umm, for the "blurriness" of the picture, i suggest using photoshop to edit it.
It works for me, or just take out or erase some parts you don't like.
Or just draw on the computer >__>;;

Okay, another one; I'm pretty happy with this one.

Full picture: http://xxanna-chanxx.deviantart.com/...eaper-63776728
This is my new OC. I quite like her, so far! I'm happy with this drawing of her, too. But she reminds me way too much of Light Yagami from Death Note, so far... however if I tried to change anything on her it'd change the character I intended for her to be drastically. Shoot.

Sorry to update this post three times, now! I figured I'd post it on top of the post this time. I did'nt want to double post.

Kimu> Thank you! Yep, pretty close, atleast! I'm fourteen, will be fifteen in a couple of months, though. Which bites.

Ah, really? I'd love that, I'm always tickled to get a new watcher! I'd tell you if you already were or not but I don't know your screen name. XD
On another note, I'm glad you like Rebecca! I'll probably be drawing quite the bit of her. She's pretty out there so she's fun to draw, there's alot I can do with her.
