My fiance is a computer tech right? so when he saw some computer stuff on the sidestreet waiting to be chucked out he picked it up thinking he could get some extra memory and storage and what not to go on his computer. He got that but when he put it into his computer the last owner had not deleted the information on file. So we went through it and its all patients information at specialists, pathology and doctors clinics in full detail. I went through it and saw that my actual Doctor was listed as one of the doctors on the data base. I then wen't through patients details (not looking at personal stuff because I'm not interested in that at all but looking at names) and it listed my name. It listed all of my dates of when and why I went to the doctor and the outcomes and illnesses and what not. I am so bloody pissed about it. Like that is such a briech of privacy you wouldn't believe. When normal life continues for us on Tuesday (for Aussies its Australia day so long weekend as it marks our 220year of settlement in Australia) I am contacting Legal aid to see if I have a case for taking them to court or something. I don't know anything about legal rights or anything like that but I know privacy is a huge issue. What do you guys think? apart from that I am well, I did a huge clean up of my apartment today so am very happy with myself

Woop, I'm pretty sure that in the US you would have a case for it, but I'm not a lawyer. I don't know for certain. Do check into it though. I would be so very infuriated if I were in that position.

To everyone else, I apologize for not paying as much attention to the charity as I should be. Whenever someone applies, I always donate if they fit the rules, so I wouldn't call it "dead". I've been busy with course work from my 24 credits this semester, plus I was learning the ropes of a Community Manager and whatnot.

I try to come here and post at least once a day. XD

Nah, I don't do any more work than the mods and other community managers do. I'm just having difficulty balancing school work on top of Menewsha.

It seems like whenever I get a little bit ahead in school work, something comes up, like friends want us to take a whole day and go do something, or my mother wants the same thing, etc. It's getting difficult.

The less active my thread is right now, the easier it is for me to maintain with my busy schedule.

Chi maybe you could possibly allocate someone to keep an eye on the admin stuff like new applicants and questions then that could help? they could have a copy of your email address and you could check that daily and make sure you give out items or donations when you are able to spare five minutes or something. I am willing to help of course if you think thats a good idea. I am on pretty much everyday and can be on twice a day even to see where things are at when I'm not busy. But its up to you of course Chi.
