  I always chose the clear rubber things on my braces (but I had metal bracers, just the clear loops to keep the wires on).

• xD Whatever you do, don't get black thingers, they'll make your teeth look rotten. Oh and don't expect to eat hard / solid food for the first few days. Hurts really bad.

  I however, didn't have that luck and was thrown in school right after my appointment to get my bottom braces in (I had top and bottom put on separately) and I had no soft food. ;[ I had to choke down a sandwich. <//3
