He smiled more back at her. "Y'think so~?" An expectant holding of breath as he watched her taste and see what she thought of it. "I'm hoping homemade is better than what they make en masse at the buffet." He squirmed a little bit, watching her facial expressions as she chewed. "So...?"

It past the first test. She wasn't blind, and she hadn't choked. Further more, she was pretty sure she was still living, most excellent. She chewed slowly, thoughtfully, shifting the bite around in her mouth with her tongue for further decision making. It was pretty damn decent! Test two passed.
She swallowed and smiled. "You pass. We like." With that she leaned in to continue eating, popping surprisingly good bite after bite into her mouth. All jokes aside, she was impressed.

((OOC: <__< It's for the best. ))
He breathed a happy laugh of relief. "Heeee... Good, good, good! I'm happy I've finally made something you like~!" Taking his fork in hand, he started to dig in. Now, over the years, he had become quite a pro at eating lo mein. This being said, his plate was empty and filled with seconds before she'd managed to down half of her first plate. He normally loved the restaurant lo mein, but what he'd managed to make was relative heaven. Thank you, internet, great giver of knowledge on how to do damn near anything.
Did I just say he'd finished his first plate? Because by now, his second was well on its way to being polished off, she only just nearing the end of her first. "Damn, do I love lo mein." A stupid grin. He really ought to've been romancing her more while eating, but the siren call of the lo mein was too strong for his body to overcome. He'd satisfy it, then switch back into romance mode. Good plan, provided he had any gum to counteract lo mein breath for the both of them.

((OOC: Probably, yes. xD;; ))
"Aww..." she half frowned, albiet unable to keep her eyes off the ever rapid rate at which he was consuming lo mein. It was mesmerizing, really. Where did someone so scrawny put it all. A further frown, recalling times she'd taken him out for a nice meal and he ate like a bird. She supposed the only way she'd get this boy to eat if anything she served any more was lo mein. Great. But back to the intial frown, she sighed.
"That's not true~ 've liked a few others... My stomach didn't necessarily, but I did~" a grin over at him, not that he would've noticed what with his shoveling in. Another sigh, as she finished the last of her plate off quietly, setting her utensils down on the plate and nudging it aside long enough to swipe a napkin and dab her face clean. She glanced over at him and grinned. "Yes, I can see that love quite well. Not more than me though, I hoped."
She set her napkin on her plate and rose to her feet, taking the plate with her and setting towards the kitchen to scrape any remaining contents away in the disposal and rinse her plate off in the sink, humming and shaking her head.

He laughed and grinned back over at her. "Yeah, well, I think this is tame enough to sit well with your stomach~ And you didn't eat nearly as much as I did, so if it was secretly poisonous, I'll go down with enough time to spare for you to find an antidote." He grinned more, but the expression was cut short by the need to fill his stomach with more lo mein, starting a third plate before she arose to clean her dish and being damn close to finishing it by the time she finished doing so. Eating lo mein was a way of life, to this boy. He polished off the plate quickly and set it up on the counter to clean on his own later. For now, it was time to enjoy their drinks together, as she sat back down. "Hmm..." He grasped the paper cup thoughtfully and raised it. "A toast..! To having made enough leftovers for me to eat that for my next meal; and to us, two of the sexiest lovers to ever walk the earth. Ohoho, yes. A fine toast." He grinned stupidly, keeping his cup held up, waiting for her acknowledgment.

She flopped back into her seat with an "oof", rubbing at her stomach and arching to stick it out before her as if she'd gained a great deal of weight.
She glanced up at his toast and smirked, presenting him with an overly obvious and exaggerated eye roll. "Yeah, yeah, sure, whatever..." an unenthused toasting, at her end, propping herself up with her elbow on the hand, mock bored.
She stole a glance his way and grinned wide. "At least one of us is sexy, anyway."

He laughed and tipped his cup up to his lips, taking a swig of the juice. "Ahhh... I broke out the vintage TMNT, just for you. You should feel special."
An awkward pause. "I'm kidding~ Even I have a little sense about expiration dates, as much as I'd liked to have serve you so infinitely romantic a drink as that surely would prove. Nah, this stuff's just standard kiwi lime. But feel free to pretend."
He took another swig and smirked over at her. "At any rate, yes indeed are you ever sexy." A wink. "I'm just highly lucky, I do believe." He polished off the cup and set it down, grinning.

She knocked the entirety of her cup back in one swift motion and set her glass down, wiping her mouth again and letting out a satisfied sigh. "Pffft..." she pursed her lips, eying him. "Please, that stuff never goes back, it's ambrosia." And she likely meant it, too. The girl had a few, shall we say, issues. And an addiction to TMNT and green flavoured things. That's right, 'green flavoured'. Intentionally, of course. Nothing moldy or anything. She was allergic.
"Hrmm..." she propped herself on her elbow again, smirking. "You're damn right you are, sezzy."

He grinned. "Green-flavoured, eh? Don't go telling me you've got a thing for Piccolo, now. I know he's got the extra peenors and all, but..." He drifted off, laughing to himself.
"Mm, I guess that works, then. You can be sexy and I'll be sezzy." He just kept grinning with everything they were saying, the same smirk he always seemed to have plastered on his face when they were talking together.
"Well, now that we've eaten, what're you up for...? We could find a show to cuddle down and watch, watch a movie, play some game-- FZZEWPOP!" He didn't so much end his sentence by saying 'fzzewpop' as that's what sound they both heard at about the same time a flash of lightning and rumble of thunder shook the apartment. They'd forgotten it was storming, in the course of the evening there. The rain beat steadily against the window, as now only moonlight filtering through was providing light. "Well. I guess anything needing electricity is out..." He couldn't help but laugh, standing up and creeping carefully around to her side of the table to guide her to her feet in the darkness. The rain continued to make its calming static. "Mmm.. well...", He wrapped both arms around her. "This isn't the worst turn of events I could imagine... having all these modern 'necessities' of ours be quiet for a change is nice. Romantic, even."

She had opened her mouth to shut him up about the piccolo comment and make suggestions for the evening activities, when she found herself jump about a foot in surprise instead. She swallowed a yelp, shakily grabbing on to him. It wasn't that she was afraid of the dark, or the storm, she just didn't have any desire to fall to her death getting up from her seat. Normally she could see quiet well in the dark provided there was some light of sort no matter how dim filtering into the room, but she had never needed to do so while trying to get out of a tricky position between chair and table while wearing an outfit that was about 80 times to big for her. A harrowing experience.
She shot him a warning stare in the dark, the moonlight slightly illuminated her face in a rather creepy glow. "Romantic, sure. If you're a bat." She sighed, here she was the bat activist, eh? And damn, the rain beating on the window and slowly cascading down the pane, the moonlight dimly lighting everything with an ethereal glow, his arms safe around; it was romantic. Well crap. She leaned into him.
"Hmm... yeah, guess it could be worse after all..." she nuzzled into his chest and looked up at him, hugging her body close. "Now what...? I didn't bring my night vision goggles..."

He smirked a laugh in the darkness at her bat comment before sighing the same sigh and resting his head on hers. "Well~..." He thought for a minute, idly running fingertips around her back. "We've had our day out, our coffee together, and our romantic dinner, so for all intensive purposes it's been a pretty complete day..." He looked down at her and smiled a soft smile. "Mmm... but there's always more to enjoy with you, my dear..." He leaned down slowly and kissed her soft and sweetly before looking out past her, into the living room. "I've got an idea for a way to spend a little time..."
He slid his arms down, finding her hand in the darkness and led her carefully into the next room. "Wait here, just one minute..." Fumbling his way over to the curtains, he slid them open, bathing the room in pale moonlight, scattered through the rain. Next, he made his way over to the couch, grabbing an end of it and swiveling it around to face the window. "Over here, you..." He sat on the couch and motioned her over, the room now lit enough for her to see her own way.

Oh, and font colour pending! -_____-))
"So," she was starting already. Great, here we go. A glance over.
"So?" The rhetorical question.
"So, it has been decided we're going out tonight." A nod.
A raised eyebrow. "Oh, and when did we decide this?"
"Just now. We're on a wavelength, you know. I know you'd been thinking about it." A shift out of a chair, and a saunter over, looking down.
Not so much as a glance up from a book. "When really, I don't believe I was, no."
"Hnn..." Crystaline Ikoda pouted down at her taller and more reserved roommate, curling fingers over the tops of pages to peel a book back some, leaning her face in closer. "You won't go out with me tonight, then?"
Akiyo Dakoma raised a hand dismissively, shooing the girl away, calmly pulling his book back in and licking a finger to change pages. "I almost lost my spot." He replied in ignorance.
"Hrm." Pursed lips. She tried harder, pulling the book away again and leaning in to intentionally give a slight cleavage shot down her tanktop, her face mere inches away and breathing hot against his, cooing. "Please~" she leaned a hand in, playing with the collar of his shirt and smirking.
"Trying to read..." The sigh, eyes .
"....Hn." Pursed lips again, jerking back and shoving his book towards him. "Fine then." She stalked away, setting forth towards her bedroom, several crashes and sounds of things being tossed which way quickly following.
A call to her. "You can be certain I don't actually care much, but what are you doing?"
"Aha!" A cry of victory as she came prancing back out, toting a slim back number on a hanger in one hand, with a considerable v neck cut, and an even greater hem cut to mid thigh in one hand, long, black, buckled boots in the other. She set the boots down at her side and pressed the dress close against herself, showing it off and passing a glance backwards in the main room mirror to examine for herself. "What do you think?"
"Of...?" Finally, a half look up.
"This. If I wanna get laid I gotta look good. Not gonna pick anyone up in scrubs. Well, not anyone good."
The slamming shut and setting down of a book, a tall man getting to his feet. He turned away, heading off the opposite direction.
"Mm?" she blinked.
"I'll get my coat." A nod over his shoulder. "Oh, and you're not wearing that."

((OOC: Damn it Matthew, would you update Ladybug Waltz already? All our plotting is going to be forgotten at this rate. xD; Though I know you have stuff to do tonight, so 'll lay off for now.))
She blinked at him. Not that it was the most noticeable action in the world, even if the room had been well lit, but for all fact stating purposes, she had done it. Oh yes, she had. Ah hah.
A blush crept across her cheeks. Again, not the most noticeable, but still an existing fact.
She stood still for a moment, taking in the radiant sight that now graced them in the softly lit room. It was all the more ethereal than ever, now. Warily, she made her steps over towards the coach, over next to him, and plopping down.
"Mm..." a smile to herself. A bit more noticeable this time with the sweet moonlight making the faintest of prisms in each raindrop on the glass of the window pane, reflecting off of and illuminating the soft features of her face.
"How lovely..." she leaned her body against his, resting a head on his shoulder in contentment. "Chuu..."

<<;; Here we go, then, I guess...))
She swirled the bottom rim of her glass around on the bar, idly watching the remnant of liquid within slosh about. "Hnn..." A listless sigh, letting her head hit the bar with a soft thud. She surveyed the now sideways room; what little of it she could see through her own hair and the lineup of arms and glasses further down the bar. This was very little, in fact. She heaved a sigh and sat up. If she was going to have any fun tonight, she'd have to seek it out for herself, as it clearly was not coming to her. She swiveled around and slid down off the barstool, grabbing her drink for one last polishing swig before setting out towards the dance floor, to see if she couldn't find herself anyone more interesting than alcohol.
-------------
He straightened his collar and brushed sleeves off, undoing a button at the top of his shirt before swiveling around and heading out toward the dance floor. He grinned cockily, strutting into the crowd and working a dance step or two into his strut as he did. If this night was going to be any more than a drinking break, he was going to have to make something of it. He casually surveyed the dance floor for any approachable targets. No, no, no... too ugly.. too tall.. too skinny, too fat... Was he shallow? Mm, maybe. But he preferred to think of it as just knowing what he wanted. At any rate, he didn't see that elusive desired target, so he settled for dancing his way near to the most tolerably good-looking girl he could spy. She still didn't look much like his type, but he'd have to settle, at least until he could find anyone closer to what he was on the prowl for.

((OOC: I know koi~ No immense pressures, hun. <333
Off to a good start I'd say! This'll be fun.))
And indeed, she didn't wear it. No, what graced her body instead was a form fitting, deep crimson corset with black and dark violet laces over a white thick strapped tank top, a black studded collar, several dog tags, a thick leather studded red belt with various lengthed chains hanging off, and a sleek black mini skirt, with matching black mesh fingerless gloves; overtop she had her signature black trenchcoat. Knee high 'don't fuck with me' buckled boots and a very light touch up of make up and eyeliner in the right spots completed the look. Not exactly meeting with much more approval than the previous choice, but at least it showed off a little less of her assets. Only a little, sadly. An inward sigh as her partner gave her a disapproving once over, feeling a tempting urge to sing 80s theme songs that were desperately repressed.
The more reserved and apparently respectable of the two had simply thrown on a clean and decent long sleeved shirt and some jeans, not that it was noticeable with his black jacket still done up and held defiantly against his body in an 'I can't believe you dragged me across town to be here' sort of way. He would hate tonight. He knew it.
Nights he went with her she usually just abandon him anyways, but admittedly, at least he knew where she was at the end of the night. Always an inward concern nights he didn't. Not that he'd admit to it. She was a pain in the ass who deserved half the trouble she got into anyway. He knew that much from far too much experience now.
Getting past the bouncer had been an easier feat than expected. She had remembered her forged IDs tonight, so no sneaking into washroom windows for them. And damn was he thankful for that, despite it all. It wasn't that they weren't of age (far from it, really), but they weren't legal in other senses, he supposed. The makeup had helped, unfortunately. The twenties she used to slip the big guy didn't hurt either. Unless you counted Akiyo's wallet. She apparently didn't.
They made their way swiftly through the crowd, she striding in, head held high, hips already swinging and head nodding and swaying every so lightly to the beat of the bass that enclosed the whole scene; he, elbowing in, arms held in close to himself, staggering to keep an eye on her through the crowd, which his high would have seemingly been advantageous, if hers wasn't such a disadvantage at times. The familiar smoke and scents in the air stung his eyes slightly and burnt his nose, making both water. He quickly shook his head free of it and recomposed, reaching out and snagging a sleeve as he caught up to her.
"So, dare I ask what's on the schedule for tonight?"
"I haven't decided yet. But you feel free to do what you want."
"Leave?"
"Nice try."

Small pickings. She surveyed the dance floor with disdain, adjusting her small backpack and buckling it tight across her chest, for easier dancing. She sighed and shrugged, deciding to just get into the feeling of the music and not worry about who she did or didn't meet. Thumbs through the straps of her pack, she swayed and bobbed her body along with the beat, getting more into it as she ventured further onto the dance floor, pink and blue bangs getting in on the movements and into the air a bit. It was a good enough beat; she may as well dance to it and enjoy doing so.
---------
He rocked his hips, letting them lead his rhythmic approach. This and the suave grin on his face did most of the talking he intended to. Closer now, he gave her a once over, as she eyed him with a half smirk, putting a bit of obvious extra effort into her own movements. Luckily for him, he had the air and look of quite a charmer, which tended to win most of his 'targets' over rather quickly. He gave her a few looks up and down. Not bad, per se, but still not without her flaws. Pretty enough face, average tits, not the best ass in the world. That short hair, though? Mm, kind of a deal breaker. She wasn't really his ideal type, but he supposed if nobody better came in soon, she'd be a good enough lay. She swayed a bit to the side as they danced closer, and he cast a glance out past her, towards the door. Hello...? Well, well, she looked promising. Ah, but she was with a man... No matter, he'd dispatched of plenty in his various conquests and he'd make short work of this one. He watched with casual interest as the two approached the dance floor and made sure to start breaking out some of his more impressive dance moves.

((OOC: Whee~ We're getting somewheres. >D))
Ah, there was that familiar feeling sinking deep within her flesh and bones, right to the marrow and beyond. She would own tonight. Oh yes.
Her stride (now somewhat of a swagger) never lost a step, never missed a beat of the music or a chance to sway along as she made her way towards the nearest side bar, the male narrowly following behind, occasionally grasping at her jacket, only to be shrugged off in favour of more swaying, muttering to himself about the ridiculousness of his situation and wondering why he bothered to come.
She made a fleeting tap on the wood counter of the bar as she passed by, dancing. Said action would have been greeted with an irritated stare, had she not flashed the bartender a pretty little bill on her way, he nodding and mixing up a drink to set on a tray for a waitress to make through the crowd and bring over when he finished.
Ki had been sure she hadn't had that much before they left. Must have lifted it from his pocket. At the very least, he sort of hoped it'd be his pocket.
Her swagger became too much as she disappeared into the crowd and he was forced to jog up to her.
"Well?"
"Well what?" She didn't bother the glance over her shoulder at him.
"Well, you know I'm not going to play babysitter tonight, right?" A huff, and a puff.
"So why'd you come?" A bemused chuckle, again, no look over.
He stopped and stood in place, taken back and gapping. He shook his head free, narrowly in time to snap out of it and catch her as she disappeared in the crowd again.

((OOC: Gonna try to, at least~ >>; <3))
She looked around the dance floor occasionally, when she could see through her swishing bangs. Still mostly losers or unapproachably ugly guys. One of them looked half decent, but he was clearly an ass from the way he was dancing and thrusting his crotch at the girl in front of him, like an advertisement of his probably mediocre at best abilities in bed. Oh well. There was more dancing to be had.
She swung a shoulder around just in time to catch his eye as he shuffled past her through the crowd. She missed the next beat and went off step, brushing back her bangs from her eyes for a better look at him as he walked away. Okay, now this guy was genuinely cute. Didn't look to be too much into the party, but neither was she, honestly. A good way to relate to him, she thought, as she already began carving out her plan for how to meet him and introduce herself. Of course, she knew he had just as much potential of being an ass as the hip-thruster over there. Over there? No, apparently that guy was chasing after him. Bi, eh? Well, she'd be damned if she let that guy horn in on her plans. She continued dancing for a bit, keeping an eye on the whole scene and where the two guys were heading. Tunnel vision prevented her from noticing the rather shorter bobbing head he was trailing after.
------------
A bemused smirk as he watched the girl order a drink and make her way through the dance floor, the troublesome male she was with following right behind. He smiled his suavest of smiles as she walked past, straightening a shirt collar inbetween dance moves. He didn't catch much eye contact, but that was more due to the fact of his observing other areas of her body as she made her way past. Ah, so perfectly short, small chest, great ass, long, flowing hair. This was the kind of girl he went for. Probably not the typical match of perfect attributes for most males, but what could he say? He had a thing for girls with this kind of body. It was probably due to some psychological connection with them and his first girlfriend who had the same body, but he wasn't into psychology; just into this girl. Or at least he wanted to be in her. He spotted a bar girl with a tray making her way after the couple and swooped in for his opportunity. Slipping up behind the girl, he put a hand on her shoulder and she stopped, looking back. "Those two are a couple of my friends, so if you don't mind, could I go ahead and take this to on to them?" Without waiting for a response, he confidently took the tray and flashed his sexiest grin. "Thanks.." She, like so many other girls he'd worked his charms on, smiled shyly back and nodded, returning to the bar. Well, he was well on his way to a night together with this perfect mystery girl, as far as he was concerned. He walked after them with confidence, tray in hand.

((OOC: Really. We've got major plot unfolding. <3 And damn, I wish Menew had a colour code actually named cranberry so we could use something more accurate to the plot, y'know? ._.;; ))
His struggling behind her was growing pathetic. She could hear his every grunt, every elbow and shove to get through the ignorant, gyrating masses to reach her. She rolled her eyes, not bothering to turn around and catching onto his wrist with a sigh, just as it was thrust out between a couple of close dancing club goers. She tugged, successfully pulling him foward, and to her glee, ruining the pitiful display of the hormonal driven lack wits. Har. The floor was her's, not theirs.
He surged forward, narrowly catching himself thanks to her still death grip on his wrist, though he certainly could have done without the seeming talons digging in straight through the fabric of his jacket. He tugged loose and gave a half hearted grunt of thanks, adjusting his now disheveled clothes and brushing off a sleeve. He fixed his hair and gave her a glance over.
She smirked. "Who's babysitting who now? Honestly, I can't go anywhere with you, can I?" A drawn out sigh. "Well," she motioned with her arms forward, where somehow or another, through the endless sea of people they had found land. Eh, I mean a booth. "Sit? You know I'm no good out there without my first drink to loosen me up." An over confident smirk to herself, ever so thoughtful as she slid in on the secluded and dimly lit seat; this area was generally for people who wanted a more private atmosphere for conversation. Not that it was stopping couple in both #7 over from using the table for their own personal make out session. Honestly, people had no tact now adays. And was she wearing blue with purple? Eww. "Well, alright, I'm always good, but..." She set either arm down on the table and leaned in, looking up at him coyly.
He slipped in irritably at the other end, adjusting to make himself a bit more comfortable, though it was quite impossible with the rigidness of the wood, the sickening aroma of alcohol, sweat, and smoke in the air, the buzzing haze of the neon lights and the ... ambience provided from booth #7.
He too set his arms out, folding them and leaning in to prop a chin on them, looking up at her with a frown for a moment before sitting back up properly, but not without a snort and an eyeroll. "Yes, how awful you are sober..."
"Oh lighten up."
"I wish this room would. Or rather, wouldn't. It's like an epileptic bat's nightmare."

((OOC: Hopefully <<; <3 Nya, I know. D: Ah well, this one works for now. Maybe we can find something a bit daker, later. <3< ))
Hmm... She watched the scene play out, as the two of them got further away and more clearly out of the crowd. Working her way to the edge of said crowd, she watched out of the corner of her eye. The second guy hung back out of sight a bit as the first sat down at a booth with-- wait "with"? Yes, with a girl! Damn! Hmm, well this was no good, if he was already taken. Well, maybe she was just his friend or relative, there was no way to be sure yet, so all hope wasn't lost. She decided to just keep watching for a few minutes, trying to figure out their relationship; which wasn't nearly as visually obvious as that of the couple in the booth near them. Sheesh, those two were going at it.
----------
He smoothly stepped back behind the barrier between their booth and an empty one nearby, before either spotted him. Leaning in close, he listened in on bits of their conversation. Hmm, maybe they weren't a couple needing to be split up after all... They didn't sound like a very happy one, at least, if they were. This would be a piece of cake. Stepping back a bit, to swing around to the booth in a more natural approach than just popping out of nowhere from the side, he sauntered up to their table and sweepingly took the drink from the tray, setting it down in front of the girl. "Your drink, miss.." A confident grin right at her. That's all he needed. He nodded and pivoted, heading back into the dance crowd, supposedly to return to his work at the bar.
----------
She puzzled a bit, cocking her head to the side. Well, that was interesting... She was sure that guy didn't work here. What was he up to, exactly? Probably after that girl, at least, rather than having his sights set on her own target. Maybe this would work out well after all... She continued to watch the two, tossing a wary glare at the other guy as he made his way back into the crowd near her.

He leaned his body closer back against her own and wrapped an arm around, smiling to himself. Damn, this was lovely. "Damn, this is lovely..." He giggled a bit to himself and trailed fingertips softly up and down her arm, then across her beautifully lit cheek. A nicer result from a power outage and a rainstorm, he chanced to think there'd never been.
"Mm..." He closed his eyes and smiled more, listening to the calming sound of the rain, beating against every surface in the city. From that description, you'd think it to be unpleasant, but out of so much noise came such a peaceful overtone, even with the occasional thunderclap. One such thunderclap rang out right then and he defiantly held her tighter, planting a soft kiss on her cheek to distract from the disrupting noise.
"Hur... This... is nice..." A lovesick smile.

((OOC: Myu... ))
A slight flinch. It was a force of habit for her sadly, despite it all. She gave a soft, low sound reminiscent of a mewl or a slight whimper and curled her body in closer to his, momentarily gripping his arm around her to gather herself in closer, before relaxing again at the soothing sound of the rain and his breathing.
She beamed in the soft light, looking out the window and raising her arm up, she pointed a finger out towards a drop, tracing and following it down in the air. She giggled as it merged into another drop and the two fell the rest of the way down.
"Nyaa..." she leaned her body closer against his still, stealing a nuzzle at before looking out the window again, ever so innocent. After a pause to enjoy the silent, she spoke. "Well, you didn't manage to completely ruin the evening." An impish grin his way.

((OOC: Raawrrr.... DDD: *debating where to take it now* We'll see. By the way, I should warn you now. Your OCs have their work cut out for them, cause Ki and Line ain't exactly friendly. They need names, too! DX ))
The continued their at times, less than witty banter for a good few moments before they found themselves interrupted, a soft thud as glass hit wood and liquid sloshed about. Blinks, though neither paid much mind in looking up, his grin for naught.
Crystaline waved a dismissive hand, eyes still focused on her consort, nose bunched up immaturely. A breath. "Yeah, thanks a lot."
A snort and an eyeroll from across the table, rearing back to shift positions, arms folded and body turned somewhat away. Here it would start, great. A scowl over at the girl as she fished in her jacket pocket to pull out pay, followed by a jerk of the head to shoot a glare at the waiter for aiding her in her conquest for inebriation, even if he was just doing his job.
...Wait. Where was he? "Hey, what the hell?"
"Eh?" Line looked up, momentarily ceasing her fishing. So far she'd found lint, a penny, an unbent paperclip (Ki had once asked what it was for, she told him it was better for his nerves if he didn't), lint, and old stick of gum that had been in the jacket since last winter. Each had been laid out less than neatly on the table.
"He's gone." Ki motioned to the empty space where the waiter had been. "He didn't even wait for you to pay him!"
Crystaline grinned, "Sweet deal! On the house is my favourite kind!" she squeed in delight, eagerly gathering up her glass for a sip.
"No, not sweet deal." Akiyo reached out and laid a hand over the rim of the glass, preventing her from drinking and nudging til she laid it back down. "No on the house. If you have to ingest that filth at least pay for it."
"You pay for it." A pout.
A sigh, pulling out an empty wallet for display. "Seems I already am."
"But he's all the way over there~" a drawn out whine, fidgeting and wriggling her entire body, motioning to the disappearing head in the crowd.
"I'm sure you can still catch him." An unfazed frown.
"But the crowd might eat me whole!" More whining, ample fidgeting and bouncing in the seat, leaning over the table to emphasis the urgency to it all.
"One less mouth to feed? It's not like you can't elbow your way through."
"Hmm..." she pulled back, bottom lip jutting out defiantly, arms folded. "Fine, but you owe me. I'll be back so don't go anywhere!" With that she gathered up her vital necessities (aka pocket trash) and got up, disappearing into the crowd to pursue the mysterious waiter.
"Oh, don't worry, I won't." A sigh and reply to no one.

((OOC: Zis opens up many possibilities for where to take it, all of which I'm debating. xD gehh.. *thinkthink* Well, we got my OCs named now, so they need to move in and make their introductions, one way or another. D8 Meaning yey interaction, shorter post. xD ))
He tossed a glance out of the corner of his eye, swinging nonchalantly by the bar, to set the tray down. He gave the bar girl from before a little wink and a grin and swung around back toward the dance floor, being sure to mingle into the crowd. The girl from the table would definitely be coming for him sooner or later, after he'd given that sexy smile. Oh yes, no woman could resist it. He danced idly to the music, keeping an eye out for her approach. "Haha, right on time...", he whispered to himself and grinned, seeing her shoulder her way between two dancers and head in his direction.
He smirked to himself and swayed to the beat as she approached, looking off in the distance a bit like he hadn't noticed her. A little snap to attention, pretending to just notice her as she walked up, arching his eyebrow curiously. "Sure finished your drink quickly, eh?"
------------
She watched on as the guy strolled away from the booth after hardly a word. Maybe he really did work here? Oh well, maybe this wasn't going to work out after all. She pursed her lips to the side and sulked a little, noting the two at the table were still very much both together. Why were all the cute ones taken? Hmm, well at least they didn't seem too happy. They seemed to be having a heated discussion and, aha, now the girl was getting up and walking away! Score. It didn't mean she wouldn't be back soon, but it did give her hope. She smirked, watching the girl disappear into the crowd around her. And now reappear nearby, where the ass from before was now dancing? This was interesting indeed. She stayed in step, dancing her way a little bit closer to listen in on what she could overhear over the sound of the bass. Maybe there'd be some clues about her relationship to the cute guy at the table.

He grinned over into her eyes through the dark. "Did I not...? Aw, muffin..." A wider grin. "Har... I guess even guys who show up late for dates can pull out a romantic evening if they apply themselves..." He traced a hand over her cheek and held her lightly in place, leaning in for a soft, affectionate kiss. "Mmm..." Cheeks flushed lightly in the moonlight, letting lips linger close. A warm smile, laughing a little. "No, I'd say we've gone and done quite the opposite of ruining this evening... It's one of the best I've had in a while..."
He slid arms around her body, drawing her in close and kissing affectionately again. "I love you, koibito..."
