She tilted her head the other way, foot tapping in her ever present and somewhat comical impatience. The siren song of the vodka was starting to grow deafening in her ears. How was she letting this guy (whom she was now concluding to not be so much the waiter he purported to be), keep her attention this long, anyway? Blegh.

She clacked her tongue. "Yeah, sure. Look, Gary was it? It's been a slice, but..." Her voice trailed off as she began to raise her hand and turn her body slightly to turn and go with a wave.

Ears perked as he heard a female voice. Finally, was she back? No, upon further registering of sound waves to his brain he could conclude it wasn't her; it wasn't even familiar to him. Curiosity instinctively nagged at his insides to investigate this new source, but he knew better than to listen and stamped it down warily. He made no attempt to look up, though apparently it would have been for naught anyway, as suddenly eyes, peeking through oddly coloured hair were peeking through the holes of his own... Eh, creative haircut. A blink and raised eyebrows as it retreated back to proper standing position, following with it a new and unfamiliar female body, that was apparently motioning to the set directly across from him. 'Eh?'

A half-hearted snort and a scoff, staring forward again, deciding to dismiss. "Sorry, can't you see I'm on a very important date, here? I've had to cancel on myself three times and I just don't feel right about it. I can't blow myself off again, or I'll be very disappointed in myself. I'd be threatening the well being of a very vital relationship." A bitter smirk to himself. "So to answer your question, yes."

He grinned through the dark into her eyes, beaming bright enough to be seen. "Mmm... you're no gamble, you're a sure bet, my love... I'm quite sure it's what I want..." He curled his arms further around, whispering. "A romantic night spent feeling loved...? Definitely want that and that alone..." Rubbing noses softly with her, he trailed his lips in a light kiss at hers, cooing under his breath.

She kissed him back, leaning back into him and resting her head against, feeling a wave of relief. It's not like she had really expected him to reject her, but sometimes assurance for the sake of it was just, nice.

"Good..." she breathed softly, hugging him close against herself and tilting her head back up for another kiss. ]

Drawing in a slow, deep breath, he exhaled in an equally relieved breath of purring happiness. "Mmmm... good doesn't begin to describe the wonder of finding someone to feel this way about..." He closed his eyes, tilting his head into her approaching kiss, peaceful heartbeat quickening for a few beats as lips met. "Koi..."

"Ne..." she withdrew slowly, trailing fingertips idly through his hair, attempting to study his features again in the dark. An sheepish grin crept across her face in the darkness of the room. "I need to start keeping a set of PJs here. Yours itch. A lot."

He shifted weight to his other leg, eyeing her. "But you wanna get back to your much anticipated drink, eh? Alright then, it was nice meeting ya." He shrugged disaffectedly. "I'll just be over at the bar. The bar that I work at. The bar that I can get free drinks from. That bar." He made his own motion towards leaving, in the direction of the aforementioned bar, hoping she'd take the bait. How he was actually going to get those free drinks was something he'd have to work out when the time came. This girl was too unpredictable to give him enough time to plan too far ahead.

"Hmmh..." She grimaced, shaking her head. Not exactly the response she was looking for, but she'd work with it. "Tsk, tsk, tsk... Cynicism... an all too common preventable disease these days, eh? Come now, bitter boy, surely you could stand a few minutes of random company." She obstinately slid into the seat across from him, smirking defiantly. "Or maybe I just happen to be using this half of the table for a date with myself as well. It has been awhile since I showed myself a good time, after all." She'd spent too much time chasing this quarry to be shot down now, oh no. She'd see to it that she at least got to properly meet him, if only to have that as the fruit of her efforts.

She stopped dead in her tracks, hesitantly chewing her lip. It was some sort of trick and she knew it, and yet... She whirled around again, fully facing him, a curiously determined mixed with skeptical look on her face. "You can get free drinks? More than the other one?"

Somewhere, deep inside her mind, a miniature, inner Crystaline was slapping her forehead. There went another few brain cells, apparently.

He looked up, brow furrowed only slightly and lips pursed, his eyes glimmered some disbelief at her apparent stubborn behaviour. "Funny, I could have swore I had this table reserved." He replied. "No others available, huh? I do apologize to your date that a seat won't be available. It's always to be stood up, but... I guess you'd already know about that."

A knowing smirk crept across his face before he craned his head back over his shoulder, resuming the indifferent expression. "Well, it is a bar, isn't it? I should hope they have more where that first drink came from." Another shrug, heading off into the crowd. "Feel free to tag along if you're interested.", He called back over the music.

"Oh yeah...?" A mix of determination and irritation with his attitude pushed her into continuing. "Well, until the person for whom this seat is reserved shows up, I suppose I'll just have to hold it for you. Y'know, make sure no other pushy girls come sit down in it. I hear they're rampant, this time of year." She leaned against the wall casually, resting one foot on the rest of the seat.

She wouldn't. She couldn't. There was no way she was going to.

"Hey, wait!" She called after him, elbowing her way through the gyrating crowd that had ebbed like a slow and horny wave around her. "oh, you better be telling the truth, pal..." She grumbled under her breath, pushing through to catch up.

"Heh," he half snorted; "yeah, I've been getting my fair share of them, tonight..." he paused, realization dawning as he took another wary sweep across the crowd. Nothing. She really had ditched him. No, that wasn't fair, something could have happened, she could have -- no, screw it. She had ditched him. He sighed, mumbling some inaudible curses under his breath. "Bah." He sighed, leaning forward on the table yet again. "Guess I'm stuck with you."

He couldn't help grinning wide at the increasing success of his plan. It was far from over, of course, but at least he had her following along behind him. Now hopefully he could keep things in his favour, if he played it right. He slowed down a bit after she called out and strutted casually up to the bar, taking a seat and glancing back over his shoulder at her approach. Swiveling his gaze back around, he flashed the girl tending the bar a smile. "Hi there... just put any drinks I order over the next little bit on my tab, if you will.." He gave a wink before looking back over his shoulder.

She leaned an elbow on the table, smirking across at him. "Yeah, I guess y'are..." She pursed her lips, thinking for a minute. "Mmm... well, considering your predicament, I guess you oughtta know the name of your apparent table cellmate. I'm Abby. And you are...?"

"Harrr..." He grinned wide and stole another kiss. "Mmm... I have to say, I'm in favour of that... it'd mean more nights of you sleeping over, hm~?" He winked, imparting a few more sweet kisses. "After all, want you to be at the pique of comfort, when you're in my arms..." He paused, a more mischievous grin forming. "Though I don't suppose either of us tends to sleep in pj's, do we...? Hurhur..."

She returned his kisses, flushing. "Mm... No..." she started, eying him warily. "But," she snuggled closer; "it has been awful cold lately, you know... Wouldn't want to get sick~." She swallowed hard to keep the giggle from ebbing into her voice.

He only continued grinning. "Mm... well, if we were both in bed and cold, I can only think of one thing to do to keep from having to get up and be even colder while we looked for pj's~..." He cooed, nuzzling up closer to her ear as he wrapped his arms warmly tighter. "We'd just have to share body heat, hmm...?" He cooed at the implications of what he was saying, giving a soft and slow kiss to her neck.

Her body made it's own heat near instantly as her face burnt hot. It didn't take a baseball player to catch his drift, and she found herself shyly burying into him again to hide, cooing softly at the sweet sensation to her skin. "I suppose, if there was nothing else..." An embarrassed and stifled little giggle.

He beamed, a shiver of warmth traveling through his body at the feeling of her own red warmth, kissing his way up from her neck to nuzzle at her cheek. "Hur... nothing else, hmm...? I'm not afraid to admit, I'd down right prefer it..." He purred softly and smiled, trailing his hands around her back to trace random swirls, hearts, and circles with his palms.

She giggled again, looking up so that her eyes met his. "Well then," she started in shyly but surely; "I'm for it, my love." She trailed fingertips up to brush across his cheek and lips. "Myu. <3"

She made her way through with no little amount of cursing. How many effing times was she going to have body check her way through that crowd tonight? Was she gonna have to cut a bitch?

She pushed her way up to his seat and glowered as she attempted to catch her breath. She stood up tall and firm. "A'right, I'm interested. Make with the drink proof." She wasn't playing games, any more. She came here what seemed like ages ago for a drink and she'd yet to have it. The monkey on her back was getting impatient.

"Terribly irritable."

He brushed a hand through his hair, sitting up and back against the booth with a sigh. No use, she was here to stay. Unlike another certain female. Bleh. "Akiyo," he said at last.

Her fingers practically left sparks as they brushes his face, starting a fire that spread warmth through his body as he looked into her shyly loving eyes. He smiled, closing his eyes and pressing his lips lightly to hers, in a gradually closer kiss. A quietly happy coo to himself, leaving the kiss just far enough to speak. "I'm glad, beautiful lover... you bring me the most peaceful nights of sleep I've ever had, when you're here in my arms..."

She was still burning hot, shy and awkward as anything as she replied. "Sometimes I think you must be crazy... And don't even start that smartass, 'crazy about you' bologna, cause I won't believe it." Her lips curled up with a grin as she leaned in for a quick, light kiss.

"As you wish~" He waved a hand, inviting her to pull up a seat beside him, turning his attention back to the barkeep. "A mudslide for the lady, please." He flashed the same suave smile at the girl that he'd been pulling all night, which she seemed surprisingly still taken by, despite his complete lack of any meaningful conversation with her, and the fact she was being asked to get him a drink for another girl. He glanced over at Crystaline. "That was what you had at the table, yeah? Figure it's what you wanted, anyway." Turning back to the barkeep, he added. "Ah, and a shot of Crown Royal for me, please."

She perked up. "Terribly Akiyo, eh?" She smirked brattishly. "And my first name's Westminster, wouldn't ya know it." She giggled a little to herself, leaning back against the wall. "Hmh, well it's not terribly nice to meet you, Akiyo, but I'm sure that'll change in time, once you drop your defen- I mean get to know me." A sly smirk.

She eyed him warily as she took a seat nearby. "Yeah, that's what I had... And you better be careful with that stuff, it'll knock you on your ass." She paused; "but I guess working here, you'd already know that, right?" A shrug. At this point a drink was a drink, though she still didn't buy it. She'd see when the drinks arrived, who would be buying anything.

He cocked a brow. "Defenses, mm? That's what you meant to say? Heh," he smirked in out right amusement, folding his arms and reclining. "There's little chance of that, my dear. I've learned from the best. And from what I do already know about you, you're terribly persistent." He made note of the fact his less than desired guest had not let up and left yet. He'd need to be more difficult. Still, she was interesting, and it was getting boring around here just waiting.

He shifted in his seat, coughing a little and hoping the girl tending the bar hadn't heard what was said. "Yeah, of course I know that.. but I have them fairly often, one won't bother me." He demonstrated, taking the glass in hand as it was delivered to him and downing the shot in one go. He stifled a cough, as the burning made its way down, clacking the glass back down to the table in traditional shot-drinking form. "Ahh... see? Nothin' to it." He slid her own drink over to her as it was placed on the bar beside him. "Ere ya go, then, since this is what you came for."

She grinned toothily. "Oh, you noticed, hmm...? Some people don't quite pick that up about me, but by the twenty or thirtieth answering machine message, I think they start to get it. Of course, now you're wondering if I'm kidding or not... I dunno, maybe we'll find out, if you should ever happen to accidentally divulge your phone number~." She propped her chin up on her hand, eyeing him suspiciously. "Though I can't see you being much of a phone conversationalist, unsurprisingly." She smirked across the table at him.

She leaned forward and reached for the glass, eying him up and down hesitantly. "Well," she curled her fingers around it warily. "I watched her hand it to you, so I know you didn't slip anything into it, so I can rule out date rape; but I swear, if I take one sip of this and I get a slap on the wrist demanding I pay up or they take my house, you'll regret it." Eyebrows furrowed threateningly for a moment before the storm rolled away and her face was suddenly light up and cheery. "Cheers," she said, raising her glass and knocking back a hearty sip.

A sarcastic smirk. "Nah, normally I'm the life of the party. You just got me on a bad night." Again, he ran fingers nonchalant through his hair. Nervous habit, most people had it. Another one was touching your face. They also did it when they were lying. Interestingly, Line rarely did either during. "Where the fuck..." he half mumbled, before catching himself. He shook his head clear. "A bit of a stalker, mm?"

He kissed her back quickly and grinned wide. "You know me too well... but I'm afraid I must really contest that accusation of bologna.." He pecked another kiss at her and grinned more. "Cause I'm all too afraid that I must say... I am c-r-a-z-y, crazy about you~..." A happy coo, beaming with all his might. "So you can call that any lunchmeat you want, but it's true..."

He chuckled, leaning against the bar. "No, it's free, I assure you... but date rape, eh? Pretty sure this would have to have become a date for that to apply, or it'd just be the regular kind of rape. So now you've got me all excited, I've never been on a date with a girl with more than 2 chains attached to her." Smirking, he propped his chin in his palm.

So once that party's over, you make your way to the bar to brood and even it out, do you? Maybe afterwards, you'll be donning a cape and roundhousing some street thugs as a bizarre self-prescribed therapy to deal with your parents' deaths?"
