When I had the veil on and tried to put the ribbon on, the ribbon didn't go on and the hair vanished.

So now, I either:

A. Go with the bow and no veil.
B. No hair or bow but veil.

• Ah, I see. That kinda sucks for you. I like the bow and veil. Black and white are always a nice combination.

Yeah it really sucks, I love having the veil on.

• You can try to submit the glitch to the avatar developer and he or she can fix the layering glitch.
