  Ah, I see. I haven't seen that yet, so I wouldn't know. But I can relate. I own the manga, Flame of Recca. The manga is fantastic! But the anime is so horrible. You can't watch a full 10 minutes of the show in both English and Japanese. DX

  Boo.... that's no fun. DX Another anime that I liked was Tenjho Tenge. It's similar to a high school club vs. club anime. It's alright to watch, but not something to buy and keep. It's a one sit-through deal. Anyways, the anime is pretty violent. Boob, pantie, ripped clothing, you name it, it's in there. The manga, by CMX, took all of that out and changed the story line! It's one of the worsts I've read for a chapter test. DX

  If there is a manga that I think is interesting, I usually read one chapter of the first vol. If it continues to peek my interest, I continue to read until I finish the book. Then I buy it. XD If not, I place it on the shelf backwards. To the book store employees that know me, that's my sign to say that it sucks naga. XD
  

• Ahhh, for anime I usually first go to wikipedia and research on it...then if it seems interesting from there, I watch an episode...and either keep going or stop right there.

  I do that as well sometimes. Not always. I also go by word of mouth from my friends about certain manga and anime. I generally like almost all anime. I do have standards.
  

• Eh, once I start one I feel like I have to finish it...which has been torture with certain bad ones, so I try to make sure I like them now beforehand.
  
  And...most of my friends have really bad taste in anime xD; When they tell me something's good I have to be extra cautious >.>

  True. Usually what I own is alright. Some of it is general anime/manga like Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Big O, Outlaw Star and so forth.

Haha, yeah hoping the v-day event will get me hyped.

I've gone into it a few times actually...but then out of nowhere someone has always given me a huge item or something out of nowhere making me be happy with mene again xDD;;; Now that I have all my quests done though just a cool new feature or event should probably do it.

  Indeed. I'm looking forward to my first Valentines Day Event. I didn't experience the first one due to not knowing about this site. I love to try and get the V-Pin and Love Sash this year.
