Yeah, they're a bit funky. But sometimes they're all that works.

White - Orrrr. You could do the gray chan shoes. But they have a bit of red on them, so then you'd need a red belt and a red necklace or hairpin or something.

I like the curl part.
I just don't like how much longer they are than than normal shoes.

Yeah, I love the concept, but something about them is just a little off. I think it's that they make you look bottom heavy, but I'm not sure. *shrug*

Since I'm basically trying to to raise money to get myself up on a better leverage for an auction I'm getting into, I'll let my being an outfit nitpick aside and just work with whatever I have.

If worse comes to worse, I'll even sell the stuff I have on my avatar to raise money. We'll see.

I'm always contemplating liquidating my commons...
Especially now that there are only two Valentine's Day Hairpins left in the auction.
I have 5 gowns.
That's nearly 25k right there.
Though, I'd have to sell them for less and I'd never find buyers in time for the next auction...and then I might not even be around for the end or something...

nescia - Well, there's always the sellback store, if you bought the gowns while they were in the event store. Then you'd be getting back exactly what you payed.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the gowns. They don't leave much room for creativity since they take up your whole avatar. But of course, they're YOUR gowns, not mine. ^^
I guess what I'm saying is that maybe you should think about whether you still even want the gowns or not?

I definitely still want my gowns.
I know that they aren't good for making creative outfits, but they are some of my favorite items on Mene.
Also, one of them was a gift from Kira Bella, another one I won in the quest raffle, and the other D. Lo gave me 1k to buy because I wanted it so badly...
I'd definitely end up questing them back.

I'm also not really competitive enough for the auction.
I'd hate to go up against whitebeast, melody, Peanut, Windy, and whoever else is doing the auction for the pin right now.
