Just ate some cookies and cream ice cream. :drool: I also made a strawberry cheesecake muffin mix. Kept planning to make it and well they've been baked and consumed by the family.

I wonder about making them from scratch. I mean I assume you would add cream cheese and then...not fresh fruit. Dried maybe? D': -ponders- I think I would prefer blueberries though.

Ah well. Tata for now. I need all of my eyes and arms when it comes to the 2 young ones. >,> When it's bath time it's like you gave them a fresh pack of batteries to run around. So I'm going to try and stuff their little bellies so they'll get tired easily. :D

I baked chicken, potatoes, and carrots. For greenery, I made some Kale. I had no idea that you could buy it already washed and stripped. I love greens, but stripping the greens from the stalks is a pain. ;o; I'm very happy that I found a shortcut even though it costs a bit more but whateva. I'm making more yummy food tomorrow. P: I love making food. ;o; Don't always get to because mom cooks...or I'll refuse to cook if the siblings(teens) make a mess and the kitchen is ick! :talk2hand:

Went from having my confidence smooshed to smithereens this morning. It's not everyday when you're told you should be a prostitute and then oh gee...no they wouldn't even want you for free...-more insults- And I have to be quiet and not say anything b/c it's disrespectful. So then I started doodling and became not so emo. Something is eating the hell out of my ass like I'm prime rib. Only to hear that the path I walk to take out the trash probably has fleas. oh shit...that would have been nice to know since I always drag gram's stuff out every other day...but noooo it's all make snide remarks about I must be a scaredy cat because I don't make a f***in wide arc around this certain person's yard. I went that way because it was a beeline for the dumpster. So now that my paranoia of insects is in overdrive and I'm scrambling around with my head cut off. It's... "well I don't think it's fleas...it's probably something else. I wouldn't even let anyone think I was bitten by fleas." tut tut for not being snooty on duty. for what it's worth I'm a rn. That would still be insulting from a patient. It stings more since it's family. psh...should just call them blood relations. except maybe my sis who helped me settle down some.

Oops.. I hope you can forgive the career slight, I'm not too good at remembering the finer details of things. I've done daily caregiving work in the past and it pretty much sucked eggs. Not the same thing as skilled nursing. Anyway I'm sorry you have to deal with that stuff from your family. :( And I hope your fleas go away soon. ;)

It wasn't a slight, don't worry about it. I did an internship while in school...and it was pretty much CNA work. I have absolute respect for them, it's hard running all over the place and answering to different nurses. </3 Learned to give baths, change clothes, and linen in record time...although that skill has wandered off from not being in use. :lol:
