Waffles. Are they really the greatest thing ever made, ever? I think so, but do you?

So yeah, me and my friend managed to have a three day argument over which is better, Waffles or Pancakes. The argument mainly consisted of, "PANCAKES ARE BETTER," and, "NO WAFFLES ARE." I did throw in, "YOUR MUM'S A WHORE" and a few other lame insults. It's been months now, we haven't said more than a few words to each other, but most of all; We didn't figure out which was better! O:

So here's the ITT:
Pancakes or Waffles?
What do you put on your Waffles?
What do you put on your Pancakes?
Who would win in a no holds bars street fight, Waffles or Pancakes?
Who would win the fight if there were rules?

Personally, I like waffles, I put peanut butter on my waffles, I put syrup on my pancakes, pancakes would win if there were no rules, but waffles would kick ass one on one.

I like waffles AND pancakes. Depending on which I'm in the mood for.

I enjoy making waffles more, because we have a mickey mouse waffle iron, which is pretty pimpin'.

I enjoy eating pancakes more, because I make them like swedish pancakes - thin and large, so you can pour whatever ingredients in the middle, then roll them up!

However, since I like to cook way more than I like to eat, I'll have to go with waffles ;O

That reminds me. I love eating lumberjacks. That's when you wrap sausage in pancake. If you haven't tried it, do so. It's like an orgasm in your mouth. Unless of course you don't like pancakes or sausage... then it would probably taste bad.

): I don't like sausage.

But peanut butter on banana pancakes is like.. the best thing ever invented to eat.

Also, waffles and syrup with peanut butter is mm-mm tasty.

I enjoy banana and peanut butter sandwiches, but I've never tried two toppings at once. It's a crazy idea if you ask me. But Peanut butter and Banana Pancakes sound like the shit :]. Peanut butter and syrup doesn't sound that great though. It sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen...

I'm not picky about what I eat.
But I've always preferred waffles to pancakes.
In fact, zucchini pancakes are AWESOME.
Put a bit of chipotle sauce, or just eat them cold.
They're wonderful.
As for sausage, I like the sausage roles, but not the little patties.
I like my eggs sunny side up.

I like waffles, they taste better.
In a fight, waffles would win. You know those freaky sticky out... thingys (As strange as that sounds, you know what I'm talking about. Pretty obvious)? They're muscles, pancakes don't have muscles. Therefore waffles would win >:3

If I liked it, I'd probably end up eating them like twice a day... I'm not good when it comes to self control. :]

Rofl. You're well aware of the flash animation that's like, at least 2 years old, riiight? "Do ya like waffles?" "YEAH WE LIKE WAFFLES." "Do ya like pancakes?" "YEAH WE LIKE PANCAKES." Before my boyfriend and I knew we were interested in each other, he sang that one day and it made me laugh really, really hard, so I went online and looked it up.

hilarious.

but yes, I love waffles.

It's a pretty good song...
Catchy, easy to remember.
And about good stuff.
One time I ate 28 waffles, barely heated up.
My grandparents had to restock their waffles after that...

Yeah, I was pretty hungry.
Also the waffles were those little eggos-stuff-in-the-toaster things...
So they were anything but filling.
I might've had more, but they ran out.
Still I felt mostly full...

I broke a nail once. I had to go to the hospital because I happen to break my finger in the process. After that I just got right back to my birthday party. :]

I like crepes.

My mom got rid of our crepe pan now, so I can't make any. She didn't realize I was able to cook them and she didn't have a recipe.

I don't like waffles or pancakes.

I like both, but I prefer pancakes. I like cooking them more. There's not as much to do with making waffles, so they're less fun to me. Whereas, with pancakes, the options in flavor and texture are vast; the freedom, variety, and sheer intimacy of pancakes (and other pancake like foods) appeals to me much more.
In cooking, sensuality is just as much a factor for me as taste. :D
