::I was startled by him creeping from behind me and I look up at him. "Edward..yes, this is the color I need. Its a rare pigment and its hard to find it with alchemy. And its too expensive for me to buy."
I breathed heavily still, I leaned my weight on my hands. I was so hot, I took off my long coat and put it on top of my bags, in just my tank now. (you know what she looks like,I hope >.>)
I watched him transmute, without a circle, and his gloves were still on. But how? There were no circles on his gloves either? I pondered and watched the jar fill to the top. My eyes widened as I looked at the jar with utter amazement. I smiled and let out a breath though my nose and looked into his eyes. "You never cease to Amaze me, you know that??" His Alchemy was simply stunning. He did it with no hesitation, not even a drip of sweat.::

((XDDD Alright, it'll be a 'hey we need more firewood' 'huh? But there's plenty.' 'I know' Moment XDD))

"We're staying out here again right Ane?" Kiri said with a smile. She was right, there was a way that Shiba and Edward were when they least expected it..it would be fun to see where it lead.
"Well then come on Tin man!" She grasped Alphonse's arm and drug him with her into the brush.
"We'll need firewood...it feels like it's going to get cold."
"How can you tell?"
"Trust me, barometer's dropping."

"Do those two ever make you wonder?" Edward asked quietly as he watched them leave.
"Or is it just me that finds them a bit odd?" He looked over at her and his eyes became concerned.
"Are you alright? Need some water?"

::I glanced over at Kiri and nodded. She looked so innocent as she led Al by the arm into the woods. I let out a long sigh and looked back to Edward, who was now standing beside me.
"Wonder how?" I whispered. My voice was raspy and I was so exhausted, I just wanted to fall over. I looked to him tiredly.
"Odd, in what way?" I breathe.
I shift my weight forward, still panting, My face was about 6 inches from the ground. I felt light headed. "That...sounds good. Yes please.." I prayed it wouldn't be creek water. I felt nauseas enough with putting so much energy into the last transmutation. My hair stuck to my face and the back of my neck that was covered with sweat. I didn't care, I needed to calm down::

"Wonder what makes them seem so oblivious..."

Edward nodded once and raced to the creek, it was the only thing close enough, but he clapped again and another flash of light revealed a pump, complete with filter. He grabbed up one of her empty jars and filled it to the brim then made his way back to Shiba.
"Here." He said rolling her over onto her back and letting her rest against his chest as he sat behind her.
"You should learn to take it easy...if you need something and don't feel up to it ask me...I'd be happy to help you." He handed her the jar and advised her to drink it slowly.

::"Oblivious to what?" I turned my head slowly and watched him race to the creek and my stomach did a flip-flop. Then he made a water pump. Amazing.
I felt his arm around the front of me and blushed as he pulled me to his chest. My heart raced as I looked up at him, taking the jar. "Thanks.." I sipped it slowly and looked to the ground "I..wasn't sure if you knew how to make paint... and I don't want to burden you with my stupid art stuff. I know you don't like it, its not your thing, and I'm okay with that." I ran my finger around the rim of the jar; my heart wouldn't stop racing, I felt his on my back. He was so warm... I closed my eyes softly and let out a long sigh. For once..I felt safe.::

"All it is, is a chemical make up, that and a mix of geological materials. Once you know that, it's a simple process." Ed groaned to himself, great, wow her with your vast knowledge of rocks...perfect. He shook his head and leaned around her shoulder to smile at her.
"It's not stupid..actually, it's very lovely." He smiled and then leaned forward, keeping her propped up as he wriggled out of his coat.
"Here." He said laying it over her.
"You're still so pale...are you sure you'll be alright? I can wire in money for a doctor if you need one."

[XDDD ive been waiting for him to lose the coat *dreams*]
::I looked to him as he smiled at me and smiled back. "But, I thought you didn't like nude women in art?" I brought my hands to my lap and sighed deeply. I looked up at him as he covered me with his coat. The coat.. I loved so much....that vanilla scent filled my nose again and I smiled.
I sat up quickly "Edward, it's no big deal really, its just lack of sleep. I have to do it every once in a while. How do you think I got paint before I met you? There were a few times where i passed out... but I got over it quickly. No need for a doctor." i grinned at him and looked to the woods "Theyre sure taking a long time... you think they left us alone on purpose?" I locked my gaze with his and flashed him a sweet smile. I took off my glasses and wiped my forehead and rubbed my eyes.::

"When did I say that?" He feigned.

He frowned and then pushed her forehead back against his chest.
"Then try to rest..nothing's going to bother you. You scare me when you get this pale." He grimaced thinking of how meddlesome Alphonse could be...he could only guess with Kiri.
"I hope not.."

The bushes were only in the way, Kiri jutted her lip out and then smiled...there that was better.
"I told you so." She whispered. The two had moved a fair distance away and now laughed behind clamped hands, it was bound to happen sooner or later. They just happened to be there to watch.

::My head was forced back to his chest; I didn't mind. I pressed my nose against his black tank and breathed softly
"You said it yesterday... When I told you about my painting.. you wanted to see it.. but I told you what it was of and you changed your mind.." I whispered to him. I closed my eyes and rested my hands on his thigh. My heart just wouldn't stop racing; I was on Ed's right breast, so I couldn't hear his heart. I yawned. I knew I could fall asleep right here in his arms but I fought off the urge..
[XD Kiri was plotting this from the beginning >.>]

"Well...I changed my mind again then." He smiled and wrapped his arms around hers leaning his head on her shoulder.
"Just rest for now.." He yawned himself, she still smelled of lavender and paint. Edward let his eyes slide closed wondering where Alphonse and Kiri had gotten to.

"That sucks!" Plotter in question turned to the younger Elric.
"Al...your brother bites at this thing doesn't he?"
"Your guess is as good as mine..but he doesn't seem to be trying very hard does he?"
"I just think he's lazy." Kiri sighed..this was going to be a depressing sight later once she found Scar again...but perhaps...she could intervene on Edward's behalf...if only for Shiba.

::I let out a sigh and smiled. I turnt beet read as he brought his arms around me "Ed.. what are you doing?"
I bit my lower lip; I heard his soft breathing and I closed my eyes again, still fighting off sleep. I didn't think it was appropriate to fall asleep on him.
"Uhm so are you feeling better? I'm sorry about last night.. I didnt think you'd get so sick." i spoke softly, wondering where Kiri and Al where myself. Kiri was probably staying away so we could be together alone... I'd have to thank her later.::
[XDD Al is so cute!]

"Gettin' comfortable." He mumbled against her hair.
"Mm Hmm...much better...headache's gone...don't feel like my head's about to bust."

"So how long are we going to wait out here?"
"I figure we'll let them talk a little longer then actually go and look for wood..it really is going to get cold."
"I still want to know how you figure that."
"I specialize in water-based alchemy, you should know that by now. It's just...it's almost second nature to me." Kiri climbed onto his shoulders much like Edward had done earlier and she crossed her arms over the helmet leaning against them to watch her friends.
"They really do look cute over there don't they?"

::I relaxed my muscels and rested my full weight on him. "Im... glad youre alright now.."
I was so warm and comfortable. Closing my eyes, I finally gave in to a soft sleep. It was only about 3:00. There was a slight breeze in the air and my hair every now and again brushed into his face::

Edward mummbled something incoherently and sniffed as her hair brushed against his nose, it didn't matter, because by then he was already dreaming.

"AAAaannnndddd...there they go." Kiri smiled. It looked as though both Shiba and Edward were fast asleep, she nodded and tapped on Al's helmet.
"Okay Tin man, let's go find some wood." She slid off his back where the two of them had hunkered down in the shrubs and headed off along the bank, snapping off dead limbs as she went. They'd have a fire built before the two of them woke up..but oh what jokes they could crack in the meantime.

::The smell of something burning I opened my eyes slowly. We were still together, but now laying, me wrapped in his arms and I looked around. It was now dark. The coat was still over me, and was over his legs as well. As not to disturb him I decided not to move. I had dreamed of an embrace like this for a long time... never thought It'd be from the famous Fullmetal Alchemist though...":

Soft snickers greeted Shiba's opening gaze. Alphonse and Kiri sat just across from the two both of them prodding the flame, and in a true reflection of the other night, there were a great many fish over the fire.
"We figured you two would be hungry when you woke up." Kiri whispered.
"So we went fishing."
"Hope we were right."

::I jumped up, my eyes meeting with hers. I was suprized that Alphonse was okay with this, me and Ed together I mean. Eds arms flung to the ground as I jumped up, his coat fell over his face "H-how long have you been watching us?" I was blushing by now and I scratched the back of my head.
"I--uhm...Its not what you think.. I almost passed out... I was resting against him and we fell asleep that all.." i waved my hands frantically back and fourth. I looked to the fish and my mouth watered "Oh yes, youre sure right.."::

Ed grumbled as he was flung onto his back when Shiba leapt to her feet.
"Mmmm? What's going on...oh.." He blinked and looked across the fire.
"When did you two get back?"
"Oh somewhere between the nude painting and the liquor shots." Kiri laughed as he leapt to his feet.
"WHAT!?"
"Im kidding, geeze." She chuckled and turned two fish onto another side.
"They're almost done, just a few more minutes."
"Shiba, you really should take it easy if you're going to pass out that easily." Alphonse seemed to smiled behind the metal.
"You'll give poor Edward a heart attack next time."

::I looked down at Edward and pointed at him
"Hey, tell them nothing happened okay? They dont believe me..." I was blushing and flailing.
I snapped a stare at Kiri "Nude painting... y-you were spying on us!!" I Tackled her to the ground and laughed, whispering in her ear "Thanks..." Standing back up and stretched my arms up and cracked my back and sat across from Alphonse. I look to him and smile "I'm sorry, I didn't expect the pigment to be so hard to gather today... OH NO!" I shot a glare to where I was sitting before; I had 5 more paints to create. I jumped up and sat back down where I was making the paint before.
"Dammit, I have class in the morning, I need to get these done.."
I closed my eyes and sighed.::

Edward smiled and turned to the other two.
"Nothing happened...." He stated as-a-matter-of-factly
"That I could disclose to a minor." Kiri shrieked with laughter as she was tackled onto the ground, and only smiled with a knowing wink as Shiba stood.
"You'd better believe I spied."
"Is it usually hard to make paint?" Al asked cocking his head.

Edward groaned and ran a gloved hand over his hair as he looked over to Shiba.
"No more for you missy." He said hauling her to her feet.
"You're going to supervise. Just tell me what to do."

::I smack him in the back of the head.
"EDWARD! Knock it off!!" My face was a bright shade of pink and I pointed a finger at Alphonse.
"DONT believe him..."
I sighed and ran my fingers though my hair and looked over at him from the ground "Yeah.. My Alchemy isnt as good as some people.." I ran my eyes over Edward and smiled.
"It also varies from what area I'm in. I can only pull up so much pigment from a certain raidius[sp?] from where I transmute" I let out a long sigh.
I was jerked to my feet and I looked to him "Ed, you dont have to do this, you'll get tired too! The cadmium colors are even harder to gather than Cerulean!" I tugged on his automail.::
[okay goodnight. I hoe to see you on tomorrow so i can ignore my boyfriends babbling about Halo 3 XD]

He laughed and ducked his shoulder to his cheek, enduring the blow.
"What?!" He cried innocently, still chuckling. Alphonse shook his head and then nodded.
"I won't." He said.
Edward was looking over the browning fish when Shiba looked at him, he blinked and wiped the drool that had leased from the corner of his mouth and then blinked twice more.
"What?"
"Oh....is that why you tire so quickly?"
Edward smiled back at her and placed a quick kiss to her forehead.
"Maybe, but at least you won't look like you're about to pass out again."

::I smiled at Al and looked to him warmly "Edward... is such a tease.." I stick my tongue out at him and wink, looking back at my paints.
I nodded "The rarer the pigment, the more I have to tap into my Alchemy focus..its strains me to no end... but maybe I should eat first, then continue... So then I can just go to sleep afterwards..."
My body froze as his lips pressed against my forehead. My eyes widened and I blushed immensely, almost losing my balance. I locked my eyes with his, and looked at him so lovingly, trying to communicate my feelings though my eyes. It was kind of embarrassing with Alphonse and Kiri...especially Alphonse. I wanted so bad to hold him but I held back.
I fold my arms and rested my weight on one side,"Well, How about I do as much as I can, then you finish up what I cant finish. Fair?" I put my hand out to him, to shake it like a 'deal' and my palm is clearly visible; I don't notice.::

Edward looked hard at her, unsure if he should let her try anything after that last stunt she tried, but reached out and took her hand.
"Dea--" He saw it again...that red on her palm.
"So it was there." He muttered bringing her palm to his face.
"What the hell!?" He cried when he saw the scarred transmutation circles.
"Shiba what happened to you!?"
Alphonse and Kiri leapt to their feet and crowded around the other two peering over her shoulders at the lines branded into her palm.
"Those look like they would have been a couple of nasty burns."

::I blushed and pulled my hands form his grasp "It- its nothing...stop it... c'mon I need to do these paints.. i tucked my hands into my jean pockets. I found my way out of the small crowd around me and sat down and quickly clapped and pressed my fingers to the ground. My heart pounded as I pulled pigment from the ground.. even slower this time. After crawling into the jar and brought my hands to my chest and panted heavily, looking toe he jar, about 1/3 filled. My forehead drenched with more sweat than before.
"Dammit... this area is awful for pigment..." I shut the jar and turned to another "Ill just have to make due with what I make.." i muttered to myself and closed my eyes, trying to rest before the next transmutation::
