[XDDDD I LOVE ED! *glomps screen* My friend finally got all of the FMA on DVD im SOO borrowing them to watch before I meet Vic, so expect me to LOVE Ed even more in the RP for the next few days LOL]
Finished with my fish, I threw my stick into the fire and rubbed my full belly.
"Whoo that was so delicious." I glanced at my watch... 9:30pm. Still early. I looked to Kiri up on Al's shoulder and shot her a look.
"C'mon now, if he doesnt like it, you shouldn't do that, Kiri. Thats known as bad manners..." i closed my eyes and groaned, bringing my knees up to my chest, I laid my arms across them and rested my head on them. My face was lit by the fire. I closed my eyes. His body was still touching mine. This closenes.. was so nice and I wished for it to never end. It would though... it always did. Especially when it came to Ed.
I whispered to him.
"So, should we try our posing again tomorrow, or were you only kidding?" I flashed my blue eyes to his, my mouth being muffled by my forearm. I looked at him admiringly.
"I'd still need to make some cash though, I need a new canvas".

((LOL))

With a cat-like grin, Kiri merely arched a brow.
"But it's the only way I can talk to him without you hearing me plot." She muttered.
"It's alright Shiba...I've gotten used to it."
Edward, just now picking a bone out of his teeth turned to Shiba with a 'huh'
"Oh..yeah, sure, whenever you need me to..I was serious, and don't worry about money..that's about the only good thing about Mustang being here..." He swallowed with a gulp and grinne slyly.
"I can bum money from him, and he'll know I have the means to pay him back."

I shot her a stare and grinned then nodded in Al's response to my yelling at Kiri.
I blushed and brought my head up, my mouth not being muffled.
"Are you sure about it this time, Ed? I think I'll be naked too so its not so weired" I blushed and laughed a little, trying to speak as quietly as possible to him.
"I dont think I could take money from you, if anything, I should be paying you somehow for agreeing to pose for me. I'll havta think of something... maybe a message, if you wont take my money.. your body has got to be aching all the time." I smiled at him, still blushing. I nudged him in the side with my elbow.
"I think you'd enjoy a message way too much though- Or I would."

Edward turned as red as his coat and looked over at the other two, Alphonse and Kiri exchanged a look and then with bored, knowing expressions, covered each other's ears.
"Happy?"
He nodded and looked back to Shiba.
"Don't worry about payment..." He mumbled, embarrassed.
"I'm fine really, and you wouldn't be taking money..I'd be giving you a canvas." He 'omphed' and nudged back with a smirk.
"I'm not so sure we both wouldn't."

I smiled as the two across the way covered their ears and I looked to Ed. He was so adorable when he was flustered.
"Well, I want to do something for you, so if you think of anything, just let me know, alright? And thanks in advance for the canvas... and posing. But we'll both enjoy the pose session..we just need to find a way to get rid of the two oddballs over there.." I jerked a thumb to the pair, still whispering to him secretive-like.
I folded my arms and brought my legs down to sit indian style.
"Aww, you sure you dont want a message from me? I'm told Im good at it." I winked at him, grinning slyly.
I sighed, shrugging.
"What I wouldn't do to get my hands all over you." I shook my head, still grinning. I stuck my tongue out at him playfully, one eye closed.

Edward smiled and quirked an eyebrow.
"That shouldn't be too hard." He chuckled and shook his head no.
"If you do that, you're going to spoil me." He blinked a few times and made a grab for her tounge, finally gripping it.
"HA!" He cried triuphantly.
"I warned you didn't I? See what happens?" He laughed and let her go with a slight shake.
"Are you two done over there?" Came a whine.
"I think my arms are going to fall off."
"Shiba...are you sure you have 'sister' there and not a 'pet'?"

I grinned and leaned forward, bringing his human fingers into my mouth and I bit him lightly, before he pulled away. I gave him a lustful, yet playful, stare and kept my eyes locked with his.
I pouted "But I wanna spoil you.. you spoil me all the time, letting you pose for me, and making my paints... I need to do something for you..."
I blew raspberries at Kiri and looked back to Ed.
"Im no sure anymore.. I thought she was a sister but now I dont know."
I stretched up my arms and let a yawn slip out.
"Now what?" I looked to him.

Edward looked down at his hand and blinked....that's it...just blinked.
"Uhhh...." Was all he could get out.
"Huh?!" He said at last.
"What 'now what'? oh..well..." He stood and smirked.
"Now...we ditch the others!" He stood and pulled Shiba up with him, taking off like a shot.
"H-HEY!" Kiri leapt off, and took two steps forward the stopped and turned back.
"Is it okay for us to be meddling like this?"
"What, and let them keep on like they were? Not a chance. Besides, Ane needs a little happiness...things have been hard on her lately."
"Yes..I suppoose you're right."

I flew up and forward and ran with him, looking back and laughing. I...never felt so happy as I did when I was with them, especially Ed. My heart raced. I only ran behind him, my hand in his, trying to keep up. I tightened my grip around his human hand and kept on going. I had no idea where he was taking me and what his intentions were, but I pressed on behind him, running carefully as not to trip over the brush.
Through my laughing I brushed the stray hairs form my face and asked
"h-hey, where are we going?" I said between breaths. We were getting father and farther from the site- I couldn't even see the fire anymore. We were consumed by darkness and the woods now. I brought my arm across my chest, to stop the harsh bouncing that usually seemed to occur when I ran- I was behind him, I didnt need him looking back and seeing that..

He stopped and almost fell forward.
"Hmm....Never thought about that....well, since we're out here..where do you want to go?" He turned around and smiled, squeezing Shiba's hand with his own. He was flushed from running, and his face was shiny with what little sweat that had formed on his brow, and small strands of his hair that fell around his face, had stuck to his skin forming blonde vines over his eyes.
"Heh, that might not have been the most graceful escape, but it certainly got the job done."

I panted, and looked to him, trying to catch my breath.
"i don't care where we are, as long..." I trailed off, thinking it wouldn't be an appropriate thing to say.
I let out a long sigh and ran my finger over his sweaty forehead, pushing the hair to the main bundle.
"i kind of feel bad just ditching them like that... but they never never seem to catch a hint.." I grinned at him, my face pink, sweaty and blushing.
"I think they'll understand" i brethed.
"What do you want to do, Ed? You brought me all the way out here..I know you have something on your mind." I pulled my hand from his and wiped it on my pants- my palms were sweating from running, and being with him. I then interlaced my fingers behind my back and sighed exhaustedly, and looked to the sky. The moonlight lit my light blue hair, giving it a slight glow.

He sighed and scratched the back of his head.
"They can get over it if they don't." He thought for a moment and then shrugged.
"I don't know...let's just...walk?" It was nice..the weather wasn't cold or anything..not really. He offered Shiba his hand and smiled, his head tiliting a little off to the side.
"You want to?"

I nodded and looked to his hand and smiled, blushing even more and placed mine in his and walked in step beside him.
"Lead the way. I'm with you wherever you go." I looked over at him, grinning and then cleared my throat as we started to walk.
"Uhm, just let me know if I cross the line with anything I say, okay? I tend to..speak whats on my mind, putting it pretty bluntly sometimes and I dont mean to make you feel uncomfortable over some things I may blurt out."
I yawned and looked to the sky.
"I feel so at peace right now... I dont think you have any idea how happy I've been these past few days, since we met." I kept my face to the sky, getting a bit sad knowing these may be our last days together, this may even be our last night if Ed and Al had to move on to the next town. My heart sank as I thought of that and I shook my head, and walked on, in pace with him.
"Ive been alone for so long, I forgot what it was like to talk to a person who actually listens and responds, and actually.. cares."

"Hey," He said gently.
"If I can take you yelling at me half the time, I can sure take whatever you can dish out now." He chuckled and hopped over a root. He stared off into space once he was sure that he wasn't going to trip and take Shiba down with him, and let his face relax. There were times that everysmile, every laugh was forced, but now..he didn't have to think about keeping a smile..it..it just came naturally.
"I'm glad." But Edward was going to have a few words with Mustang while Shiba was out looking for a canvas...and if he had anything to do with it...she'd have longer than her two weeks.

I looked over at him and my smile faded.
"I'm sorry I get so angry and yell at you alot... i just hope you understand where I'm coming from when I do.." I tightened the grip on his hand and adjusted it, so my fingers interlaced with his automail ones. His automail was cold, but I didn't mind. I was getting used to it.
There was an awkward silence as the sounds of opnly our footsteps and the crickets we heard. Then I looked to him.
"I'm sure gonna miss you when you and Al leave." I said softly. I brushed my hair back over my shoulders and tucked it behind my ear. My face wasnt happy, more sad than anything.
"I'm gonna be left feeling lonely and empty again...Oh well, I guess it's destined for me." I nodded.
"Ill havta get used to that again. Itll be even more weired now that i dont have my diary."

"There are times I do..but most of the time, I don't worry about it." He sighed and nodded. Even if Mustang put him under house arrest until he found Kiri...there would be a time when he would have to leave...then what? Would he have to go back to faking his smiles?
"Why don't you use code?" He asked.
"If you don't want people reading your journal, write it in a code that only you can understand, that way no one will know what's in it."

I shook my head.
"Code is too annoying.. besides, itd' be easy to crack in case I forgot" I laughed and took my hand from his and looked to the ground.
"Edward.. we.. shouldn't be doing this..." I looked up into his eyes.
"Are you doing this to tease me..? Or to make it harder on the both of us..?"

He dropped his hand and let his head fall.
"I'm a masochist...I guess...I'm making it harder on both of us, but you said yourself that you only have two weeks...I just want to be able to remember the good times that we've had before...you have to report to Mustang." He clenched his other fist in the dark and narrowed his eyes. What a cruel hand Fate had dealt.

I shook my head, looking down and being sure to hide my eyes.
"We.. shouldn't be doing this..." I gripped my upper arms with my hands as the wind picked up, sending a cold chill through the air. My hair blew in front of my face, I didnt bother to brush it back; I didnt want him to see how I was feeling anyway.
"I'm...gonna miss you as it is...and we're only friends at the moment... If I even begin to think you and I could be something...more..." I shook my head and wiped my face on my arm.
"Just...Edward..." I sighed and walked up to him, and placed my hands on his shoulders firmly; One held his warm flash tight, the other was cold as can be.
"The longer you stay... the closer we'll get...the more painful for me...us.. it will be when you leave. You shouldn't have followed Kiri out here... When I left the hotel...I took a good long hard look at you, and made a decision that it'd be the last time I laid eyes on you...believe me, I was excited to see you in the dirt at my feet but sad..at the same time."
I sighed deeply, pressing my forehead to his, I looked into his amber eyes with glassy ones of my own.
"You should go.."

He sighed as he realized the truth behind this and let his head drop.
"You're..you're right...I'll...no..I guess I won't see you around." He pursed his lips in a tight line and turned away. Two weeks...he'd avoid her for that long and then have Mustang give him his orders...far from here.

"Uh oh...that doesn't bode well." Kiri looked back from where she'd been talking with Alphonse and saw Edward making his way out of the bushes. His head hung low and he only shot a glance at Alphonse before heading back.
"That's my cue to go, sorry Kiri..maybe we'll see each other again?"
"Plan on it Tin Man...don't let Edward know though."
"I promise." And with that, the Elrics were gone. Kiri shook her head and let out a heavy sigh.
"Ane..." She muttered to herself.
"..I swear you and Aniki have so much in common it's not even funny...you're both hardheaded and hardhearted...even when you mean well."

[I AM SO ANGRY WITH MY BOYFRIEND ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY! EVEN AFTER I CALLED HIM BEFORE GTTING ONLINE he still calls when im rping..i even told him its our last night together until next week and he still wont grow UP! Im sorry..i need to vent..]
I remained where he left me, and fell to my knees, frozen. I watched him leave; the lump in my throat wouldn't allow me to speak.
His footsteps faded.
My eyes swelled.
His figure got smaller as he stormed away from me.
I crouched over and gripped the dirt and just cried silently. the scent of the soil filled my nose.. but nothing mattered...
"Dont leave me.." I whispered... but it was for the best. I pressed my face into the dirt to muffle my cries... I didn't need him... and he didn't need me... thats just the way it had to be.

Even after Edward had left..Kiri didn't see Shiba, she grew concerned and started to move into the bushes to find her..then stopped.
"No.." She said aloud to no one.
"If..if this was how Ane wanted it..I'm sure she has enough to deal with on her own...but now... now falls the curtain my Militant freind." She left the fire burning, fish sticking out of the ground..and cloak on the ground. Like she'd never been there. Kiri would bump their meeting up a little.

Edward slumped into the chair that he had taken up residence in after booking the room for another night or so. He curled his legs against him and Al took his place on the bed beside the window.
"I..I don't get it Al...I'm only hurting us both..so why do it?" His brother only shook his head, finding no response that he could give. He sighed and lay his head back against the wings on the side and closed his eyes. He needed to think.

Finally... I brethed. The semester was over.
After finding a willing model to pose for gold instead of something else, i had handed in my final painting. Not the grade I wanted.. but it was something.
I hefted my bags over my shoulders and walked out of the building silently, to see the blue figure awaiting my exit in the court yard. I sighed.
Right on time...
By this time, I had pushed the Elrics far from my mind. I had focused so much on finals, I had almost forgotten about my meeting with Mustang.
He smiled as removed his hands form his pockets.
"Hello, finished your semester?"
I groaned and flashed him a glare, then thought.
If I'm nice... maybe he will be too.
I smiled at him and nodded.
"yea, it was a tough one... but you already knew that... I heard about you checking up on me... I dont use my alchemy on campus. Ever."
He chuckled and took a bag from me to carry and walked to a waiting vehicle.
"No worries. I'm sure you'll tell me everything once we get into Central."
My eyes widened...we were leaving the city?? I thought.. I had nothing here... it was now summer break... and I nodded.
Opening the trunk, he put my bags in, taking mine from me and slammed it shut.
He opened the door for me and lowered his head... I looked to him puzzled...It should have been the other way around... I shrugged and climbed inside.
He shut the door and got in on the other side. I was greeted with a silent wave from the front seat from a bald, muscular man. I nodded and we drove off.

Edward watched as the car drove off...he'd watched from the courtyard as Shiba had been greeted by Mustang and then Armstrong. He set his gaze and raced back to the driver that he'd paid...well..promised to pay and signaled for him to follow them out of town.
"You gotta be kidding me! When you said you had to talk to your friend before she left you didn't say that we'd be following a MILITARY vehicle!"
"JUST GO!" With a groan, the man pushed the gas down and headed out of town.

crackpopcrack There they were..right on time. Kiri smiled, She had to find some way of stopping Shiba from leaving..well, at least with that Mustang man...she'd come to the decision that this was her fault and had to make it right.
"GO!" She cried slapping her palms together and raising a wall of water in front of the vehicle as it passed her hiding place.
"Mustang!!!" She cried as she moved into veiw.
"I heard you were looking for a Homunculus!"

[AHHH WHAT IS SHE DOING!!! *cries*]
Slamming down on the brakes, Armstrong turned around.
"Are you two alright?"
My eyes were wide a frozen as I saw the wall form...it could only be Kiri... then she shouted. I frantically looked to Roy and pleaded, taking a grip on his arm.
"Please, keep going!"
He sent me a cold stare and pulled my arm from my grip, opening the door and stepping out into the light. He slammed the door shut.
"This should be fun... Armstrong.. make sure she stays in the car.."
He didn't even notice the car quickly approaching their vehicle as he stepped out, he only looked around for the voice that called to him. There were no civilians in sight; it was the edge of town anyway. He grinned.
Nooone in my way.. perfect.
With a loud snap and a whip of his arm, the wall of water was sent to the sky as a cloud of steam. He folded his arms and leaned his weight on one foot, waiting.
"Come out, coward." He said boredly.

I watched on inside the car looking out the window.
"Wow.." I said seeing his amazing feat.
Armstrong let out a grunted laugh.
"he is known as the Flame Alchemist. Don't even cross him or you'll get burned"
I looked to him and nodded, still in awe. I only prayed Kiri would have the brains to leave. Now.[/i]
