"Coward? I?" Kiri moved out father.
"I think not." She smiled, eyes darkening into an amethyst color.
"You wanted a Homunculus Colonel...so come..take back your prisoner and release the other..she has nothing to do with this." She clapped and the steam that still hung in the air condensed and swirled around her arms like a scarf. A smirk crossed her face.
"If you think you can."

"This is bad...really bad." Edward leaned into the front seat as the car rolled to a stop. There in the middle of the road stood Mustang and Kiri..this could turn for the worse at any minute.
"What does she think she's doing!?" Cried the driver.
"That's Colonel Mustang isn't it? The Flame Alchemist! That girl's crazy!"
"Maybe..but she's doing what I was planning on."
"Wait- WHAT!"
"Brother."
"We wait Al...and see what happens..if anyone has a chance...it's her."

He grinned as she stepped into the light. Her beauty was almost over whelming... but he knew to keep focused. Lust was a beauty...but a demon, and he learned form his mistakes.
He readied his fingers.
He stared her down.
I couldn't take it...I removed my coat and gloves quickly and clapped, and pointed my fingers into the driver's seat. Armstrong leapt out of the car as it was morphed to become a cage around Kiri, leaving my bags at my feet. I turned to Roy and nodded.
"Don't worry... I'm not going anywhere." I sent Kiri and stare and yelled to her.
"You'll regret what youv'e just done, Kiri."
Mustang could only applaud and smiled at me, jerking an elbow into my side.
"Ever think of becoming a State Alchemist? You'd be great!"
I grimaced and shook my head.
"Im a cat person, sorry."
He smiled. "What a pity." He looked to Armstrong as he flipped his cell phone shut, shoving it into his pocket, he walked over to the seamless steel cage and hefted it onto his back.
"The car is on it's way."
My eyes widened.
"hey w-wait, she's got nothing to do with this, let her go!"
Mustang could only smile.
"Not a chance... we've been after her for months... you just helped us capture her..."
My eyes widened and I focused my glare into his eyes.
"I mean it...let her go..." I yelled though my teeth.
He could only let out a chuckle.
"Or what..?"
I slammed my palms together and brought the earth up around him, holding him up high in the air, his arms trapped far apart. I took his gloves off his hands and transmuted them into a purse.
"No use now. Flame Alchemist?" I rolled my eyes and looked to Armstrong.
"Let her down now."

Kiri's face turned ashen as she saw the bars moving up around her.
"ANE!?" She cried confused...cages..caged in..no where to..no where to run..she felt trapped and fell to the bottom gasping for air.
"Ane..." The water fell from her arms and puddled around her, leaking out as the cage was lifted. Why was this happening? Why was..why was her 'family' putting her through this torture. She rolled her now slate eyes to where Shiba had lifted Mustang.
What was going on? Didn't...didn't Shiba..just want to help this man? Why was she turning on him now?
"Ane..." She moved to the side of the cage and reached out a hand.
"You idiot..go..run...don't stay here...please!"

I whipped my stare to Armstrong.
"LET HER DOWN! OR I'LL...Crush the life from him." I jerked a thumb to Roy and clapped and touched the ground with one finger, sending the rock closer to him, he let out a gasp and his eyes widened and he nodded with the strength he had.
Armstrong sighed and placed the cage down and ran to Roys side, and after flexing of course, he punched the ground, sending Roy to his feet.
I sprinted to the cage and clapped on my way there and touched the cage with my fingertips and it turned to dust. I looked into her frantic eyes and smiled at her sadly. I whispered;
"Please leave.. and never come back Kiri. Just..run"
I about faced and looked to Mustang, waving the purse at him.
"Looking for something?"
He wiped the sweat from his brow with a now bare hand and sent me a a glare.
"Youve just earned extra time for that stunt.." He pushed a hand into his pocket and a surge of electricity seemed to come from nowhere and it was suspended in the air for about 5 seconds before hitting the ground, motionless.
The device on my wrist...damn him..
He grinned and gave Armstrong a head motion.
"Get her to Central. Ill take care of the Homoncouls." He picked up the purse and slipped it over his hand loosely and snapped, sending a spark over to where Kiri stood, only about an inch away from her foot.
"Leave and Ill kill you on the spot." he readied his fingers again and waited.

((NNOOOO!!!!! I DUN WANNA GOO!!!!!! TT_TT))
"Ane..no! Please!" For all her stunts Kiri didn't want blood on anyone's hands...she would bear the sin of those that she'd killed..but this was diffrent.
She practically leapt out of the cage when Shiba opened it and wrapped her arms around her neck.
"ANE!!" She cried, tears racing in hot trails down her face.
"Why!! You should have gone like I asked!" She shook her head and mouthed a 'no' she didn't want to leave Shiba alone with this man.
"ANE!" She screamed as Shiba fell.
"Ane, please talk to me!" She leapt to her feet and stood over Shiba, growling in true 'pet' fashion.
"Touch her and DIE. That I swear to you." She paid little heed to the spark and only clapped her hands to restore the water flow around her arms.
"She is mine." Her eyes darkened in a flash, her anger turning them almost black.

[XDDXDXDXDX Wheres Ed and Al? I thought Ed would have jumped in at the sight of Shiba being shocked XD]
Armstrong stepped back from the furious homoncouls and waited orders, he looked to his commanding officer.
Roy smiled and lay his hand at his side.
"I'm tired. Have some fun. Don't hurt Shiba."
Armstrong smiled and ripped his clothes off except his pants and flexed, pink sparkles about as he let out a loud grunt and punched the ground, sending fists up all around her, an open palm under my body, I was hauled into the air. I was still out.
He grinned as I was raised and Kiri was left on the ground. He punched this hand into his palm.
"C'mon..." he taunted. He never liked fighting with women, he thought he'd let her get the first shot.

In the mean time, Mustang made his way over to the tower which held Shiba, snapped and it exploded, sending her flying. It seemed like the longest 10 seconds as I was suspended in the air-where would I land? Who would catch me?

"That...Mustang..will be your downfall." She let out a gasp as Shiba was taken from her and turned her feral gaze to the hulking man before her.
"Your end will not be quick." She hissed.

"YAH!" A figure leapt from the nearby bushes and made a grab for Shiba, landing a few feet away from where she'd been.
"MUSTANG!" Edward growled.
"Fight your own battles...Your Demon...is right there."


Kiri whirled with a snarl, only to see Edward holding her friend...she relaxed a little and turned back...she could leave Shiba to Edward...of that she was sure.
"YAH!" She lashed out with a whip-like motion and sent a long strand of water out, only to fracture and throw shards of ice towards Strongarm.

[XDD Ill expect you to sigh off after this one, so goodnight in advance XD]
Armstrong kept his gaze with hers, then was distracted by a flashing red coat rushing into his view.
"E-Elric?" he watched him fall with the motionless Shiba in his arms.

Roys face almost dropped as he saw Ed jump out of nowhere.
"FULLMETAL! You better have a good explanation for yourself this time... bring her to me." He put out his arms and waited.

Armstrong's gazed was interrupted by a whip that sent him flying past the Colonel and into a nearby wall. He wiped the blood from his mouth and grinned and flexed his muscles.
"MY PECS NEVER LET ME DOWN! HUUAAHHHH!!!" he slammed a heavy fist into the ground and sent a hard earthquake Kiri's way. He watched as it approached her quickly.

Edward's eyes narrowed even further and he shook his head slowly.
"No way in hell you're getting Shiba."

"I didn't hit you hard enough...I'll make sure to remedy that next time." Kiri slid one of her feet in front of her in a lunge and hunkered her shoulders down like a spring, she leapt out of the way of the quaking ground and rolled forward, hopping to her feet and seizing her opening.
She whipped her elemental weapons around her body and wound one around Mustang's outstrectched arm, pulling it along with her as she dove over and around the feild dodging left and right, making her paths confusing to follow, as soon as she had drug Mustang far enough away from Edward and Shiba, she let him go, turning back towards her opponents, hopping on one foot to keep her balance before stopping completely.

Mustangs eyes narrowed, sending him a cold stare.
"Edward, I wasn't asking. That was an order. Bring her to me now. I dont want to have to resort to hurting you." He readied his fingers, still holding out one hand.

Armstrong was brought back by her amazing feat of high-jumping abilities. He stared, stunned, and didn't know what to do.

Mustangs arms were jerked and he growled, dropping the purse which was once his alchemic gloves. Her cursed, being hauled this way and that.

"ELRICC!" Mustang screamed as his body was flung like a rag doll to the opposite side of the street and into the air. He reached his hand out to him, and gave him a pleading look.

Shiba was still out in Ed's arms.

Edward didn't move.
"I warned you to fight yourself."

Kiri narrowed her eyes then sighed, she again shot her whip out and caught Mustang as he was flung away, and she set him gently on the ground beside his companion.
"Take that as your first and final warning Mustang. Leave Shiba and Edward out of this...your fight is with me...my escape brought you here...therefore it is my obligation to send you packing."
((Be right back, gone to go get lunch.))

"EDWARD!" After being put down he sprinted towards his cloth purse and cursed under his breath.
"You leave with Shiba, you leave your watch here with me." he growled, sliding into the dirt to grip his purse. He handed it to Armstrong and he quickly transmuted it into his gloves again and he slipped them on. He stood, feeling defeat.
"I'll be back...I'll get the army after you, Homoncolous. You'll regret ever messing with the Flame Alchemist."
Armstrong folded his arms and nodded.

"Even after your life had been handed back to you...you dare to bite the hand that was extended?" Kiri sighed and shook her head.
"Mustang...before you leave....I am...or because I am. Why do you hate me?"

Edward looked to the girl in his arms...the life he held so tightly, then he glanced to Alphonse, who had moved from the car to stand a few feet away from him.
I promised.....I made a vow to Al.... His golden eyes were frantic as they looked from Shiba to Al, from Al to Mustang.
"I...I.."
"It's alright Brother....maybe we were never meant to get our bodies back." Edward stopped. He moved to Alphonse and set Shiba in his arms, moving stiffly back, with a sigh.
"I refuse to believe that Al...we've suffered too much for it to be so...do me a favor...take care of Shiba for me?" He waved without waiting for an answer and moved to stand in front of Mustang.
"Order. Give me an order." His head hung off to one side, his eyes averted and a hand stuck loosely in his pocket. He was after all...still a Dog of the Military.

"Edward." Kiri didn't move to stop him, but gazed with sadness at his back.
"Take care." Was all she found voice enough to whisper.

Mustang spit on the ground and sent her a glare.
"Because all you homonclus's are the same! Blood-thirsty beings that dont have life! Don't have a soul! You shouldn't exist! Youre all..just experiments, defying the laws of equivalent exchange and the laws of Alchemy. You defy...the laws of God." He crossed his arms and stared her down.
His vision of Kiri was blocked by Edward standing in front of him.
"I'll give you an order...bring that girl back here THIS INSTANT! Before I get more pissed than I am, Elric!" he stamped his foot and out of complete anger, he snapped hard, knocking down a building a few blocks away.
"Bring her to me, or give me your watch. You choose, Fullmetal. You choose her, I am your enemy. You...know I'm not a nice enemy." He leaned his weight on one foot and looked down at Edward and waited for his response.
Armstong put his arms at his side and glared at Edward.

"God? Funny you should mention him...Aniki spoke of God quite often..and yet, he allowed me to live...so who is the God here? You seem so ready to pass judgement...just like my Aniki..just like Scar." Edward was at the end of his rope, he turned to Alphonse, who recoiled, protecting Shiba just as he'd been told, but with a few simple strides, Kiri took the choice from him with a strike to the base of the neck, sending him to the ground with a thunk.
"Hmm...it seems your hound is unconcious.." She turned sad eyes to Mustang's face and sighed.
"What is a soul? Can you touch it? Can you see it? How do you know that you have one? How do you know I don't?" She gazed down at her palms.
"I don't want to kill...I've seen the destruction of the lives that Death leaves behind...I don't want to do that to those that care for you..for there must be someone..but..." She raised her head.
"I will if it means the continuance of my life, as well as those that care for me."

Roy watched the boy fall to his feet, now unconscious. He grinned and jerked his head to Armstrong, who nodded in response and hauled Edward over his right shoulder.
"You made my job easier. I'll just use him as bait. If he won't bring me the girl, I know Alphonse will." He whipped his glare to the armor on the side of the street.
"Let's have a trade, I'll give you your brother, you give me the girl. If not.. I'll lock him up in a place where no one will ever find him or see him again. I'm letting you choose, Alphonse."
Roy recoiled, stepping back.
"You! You're associated with Scar! No wonder your messed up, now that gives me more of an urge to have you. I have you, I'll have scar in my grasp as well."
He yelled.
"YOU HAVE NO SOUL! You were never a child, you were never birthed, you never age! That is not a life to live Homoncouls! NOW GIVE UP! Your very existence defies the laws of nature! They're never meant to be defied!!"
He growled and stepped forward, snapping, sending a bomb to her feet.
"I'll never be defeated by the likes of YOU! I have... an angel looking out for me who will be sure of that!" The image of Hughes and Riza flashed in his mind and the gritted his teeth and pushed is left foot out in front of him, bracing himself for whatever she dished out. He whipped a stare to Al, then back to Kiri.

"Alphonse..." Kiri called over her shoulder.
"I'm trusting you Kiri...you won't let me down." She nodded.
"That's right."
Kiri nodded.
"Yes, Aniki is the only family I've had ever since I can remember...but you will never have him...he knows that I can take care of myself..and no matter what you hope to acomplish by holding onto me, he will not run headlong into your trap." Kiri stood there, her own demons falling heavily on her shoulders.
"No...I suppose I was never born...and I suppose that Nature did not want me...that is why Man created me." She ignored the flare and turned to Armstrong, shaking her head.
"This cannot end well." She mirrored Mustang and cracked her wrists. Slowly, the water that wound itself around her, moved to her hand and froze over, providing her with a rock hard icicle blade over her very hand.

"Armstrong... take him away." He muttered.
Reluctant to want to separate the brothers, he nodded and headed off out of town, as fast has his feet would carry him, Edwards seemingly lifeless body bouncing over his muscular shoulder. he spoke softly as he ran.
"You should have given up... he wasn't going to keep her.." his words fell on deaf ears as he ran on, headed towards Central, about 100 miles away.

Roy smiled.
"Your fight is with me bitch, lets go!" he snapped and ran towards her, and sent a flare headed in her direction, melting the dagger of an icicle over her head into hot water.
"Youre no match for me, give up!" He snapped and sent the flame to her feet, engulfing her in a shroud of flames. He held back about 70% of his flame power; he didnt want her dead, after all.
He smiled and cocked his head to the side.
"Alphonse. Come here."

Kiri gasped when the ice melted, but after all...she did need it in a liquid form right? There was something Scar had told her long ago about the Mustang man...there was something she had to do to gain an edge.
She stayed still in the circle of fire, the edges of the flames licking the end of her shirt, scorching the edge. She shot Alphonse a glare and he only took a step backward, shaking his head.
"Mustang."
Clap
Water shot up from under him, only to come down on his head, drenching him from head to toe, as well as extinguishing the flames from around her. The wave trickled off and ended in a quick shower of rain, washing the ash from Kiri's hair and clothes.
"Why is it that you want Shiba so badly? Is it because of her Alchemy?"

He groaned as he, and his gloves, became drenched. He grinned and put up his hands. He didn't bother to answer her question; it was none of her business anyhow. He didn't need her to know her secrets, or they could be used against the military.
"You win...this time. But I still have the older Elric. Bring her to Central and we'll negotiate." He whipped his index finger to Al and glared.
"Don't disappoint me, Alphonse."
Just then, a black military vehicle pulled up. Jean Havoc popped his head out the window, seeing all the damage he hurried him, an obvious lit cigarette hanging form his lips.
"C'mon colonel, lets GOO!"
Nodding, he swiftly jumped into the back seat through the open window and they sped off.
Picking up Armstrong and Ed on the way, they headed to Central, just as promised, not stopping or slowing down for anything or anyone.

"MUSTANG!!!" Kiri screamed as she raced behind the car, but even with her phsyical endurance...she could not keep up.
"Damn!" She turned back and stomped to the car where the driver still sat in awe, confused and frightened.
"You!"
"ME!?" He jumped as Kiri shoved her face through his window.
"You're going to take us to Central." She moved back to Alphonse and gently lay a hand on Shiba's face, then on his.
"Kiri...Edward..."
"Is going to be fine, they won't kill him, or anything like that...not while we have Shiba, they want her and they know that we want Edward....but there's one thing that they didn't count on.."
"What?"
"I don't start fights I can't win." She jerked him to the car and shoved him into the back, taking the passenger side, pointing to the road ahead of them.
"Go."
"Y-Yes ma'am!"

Latch.
Lock.
Plunk.
Edward had his head and hands in a vice[like in those old fashioned movies, ya know? I cant think of the name of it.], separated, of course. he couldnt even reach his face to scratch his nose if he wanted to. His feet were locked up as well. He had no chance of escaping. He was even in a small cell, Armstrong guarded him.
Roy looked on at his once friend, as he kneeled on the floor, his body locked up tight, not able to move. He grinned.
"I know they'll be here shortly. Armstrong, i want you to stay here and guard him. Dont let him out of your sight."
He saluted, dressed once again and nodded.
"You can count on me, Sir."
He smiled and headed upstairs, making an announcement for the army to assemble at the steps of the Central Office Building, where Ed was being kept. His cell was deep underground and dimly lit. Ed was their only prisoner at the moment.


I slowly opened my eyes to find I was laying in Al's lap. I jumped up, having him hovering over me wasnt the best sight.
"W-where am I? Wheres Mustang?" I whipped my head around and saw Kiri in the front seat.
"What the hell is going on!"

Kiri turned and glanced once at Shiba, before turning back to the front.
"We're taking you to Central. Turn here. They have Edward....Mustang took him back with him because we refused to hand you over."
"We're going to try and rescue him." Alphonse set her in the seat beside him, and looked at her worriedly.
"How are you feeling?"

Edward woke with a terrible headache, he groaned and tried to move his arms, failing miserably.
"Wha--...where...what happened?" He muttered looking around.
"Major!" He cried seeing Armstrong.
"Major, what's going on! Where the Colonel?!"
((Gomen, must away to class.))

[dammit, i had the longest post and i exited by accident! now i have to remember everything >.>]
I gripped the back of the chair, pleading with her.
"KIRI! I told you not to interfere! Now because of you, Edward could be dead!" I cried, laying my head on Al's uncomfortable chest plate. He was cold and his steel was uninviting, but I loved him like a bother anyway.
"I'm fine...don't worry about me.." i pressed my cheek to his steel and my tears ran down it.
"Kiri... i'm begging you, if you love me, and respect me, you will respect my wishes not to interfere with my plan. Once we get to Central, I want you to leave."


Armstrong looked over at the awakening Edward and frowned.
"The Colonel is assembling the forces to capture her, if not eliminate her completely. I suggest you dont struggle or try to run. Mustang is angry at you as it is." He crossed his massive arms and stared at him
"Are you cold?" His shirt and coat sat beside him in a neat pile, removed just in case he tried anything, and it made the vice's grip around his wrists tight so his hands wouldn't budge.


The army rushed about, getting into their respective positions behind the sandbags. Riza ran up to Mustang frantically.
"Sir, are you sure this is what you want?"
He sent a glare to her.
"Don't question my actions, Lieutenant. Now take your position."
She saluted and reluctantly ran off to her post.
Mustang took his position in front of his men and folded his arms and waited.
"In due time, you will be mine, or dead."

Kiri didn't turn, she didn't want to see Shiba...not her face...not that determined look she knew she'd have.
"I'm not leaving....and it's not because of my 'honorable' intentions of helping you...Mustang is my kill...that coward ran from a fight...Edward won't die....if Mustang's smart like I know he is..Edward's still alive." She crossed her arms and stared ahead...cold. The air in the car began to chill and water dripped off the inside of the windows that were still up.
"H-Hey now.." The driver started.
"None of that weird stuff!" A sharp glare and he fell silent once more.

"SHIBA! He'd go that far to get Shiba back!?" Edward thrashed around, pulling against his restraints.
"THE HELL? NO I'M NOT COLD LET ME UP OFF THIS THING! I'VE GOT TO HELP SHIBA!!"
