I sighed.
"Fine... so... Alphonse, now that youre human, maybe youll let me paint you nude when were in Risembool, since I have a painting due when I get back... whaddya say?" I looked to him, smiling wide as the waitress came by.
"Can I take your orders?"
I looked up at her and smiled.
"Hi, can i have the short stack and sausage, and an orange juice."
I handed her the menu.
"And you, cute?" She said, looking over her glasses at Edward.

"OW, hey!" Edward chuckled.
"So one bad experience with me and your ready to move on?" He laughed and then shot Alphonse a secret glare that said 'over my ded body'.
Alphonse didn't hear half of that, and so his head jerked upright and he blinked looking around.
"What? What happened."
"Nevermind Al." Edward sighed.

"Oh..uh....Just, the..." He glanced at his menu.
"Egg special.." ((O.o don't ask, I just typed words))
"And I want the Rib-sticker!"Alphonse said happily, finally deciding on what to get.
"And a water."
"Milk for me, please."
"Ughh...that's so disgusting Al...how can you drink that stuff?"

I glanced at him, blushing.
"Hey, c'mon now... dont make me feel more weired about it!" I could barely look him in the eye as the waitress took the menus and walked off.
"I could sense that day you didnt feel right, and I dont want to ever make you feel uncomfortable like that again...maybe Alphonse is more relaxed being naked..? since he's been naked since... 11?" I looked to him.
"Isnt that when you were put into the armor?" My stomach growled as I waited for his answer, I placed my right hand at my side, accidentally sliding it across Ed's thigh under the table. I quickly looks his way and mouthed 'sorry' to him, blushing.

He chuckled.
Alphonse turned dark pink.
"Uhh....y-yeah I think so..." He turned his attention to his fingers that were knotting themselves in his lap, and made no further comment.

Edward turned, not having noticed the brush, and cocked his head.
"S'okay." He murmured simply out of instinct.

I sighed, sensing Al's uncomfortableness with the thought of it and I shrugged.
"I guess Ill havta find a model again... dammit. Having guy friends is nice, but getting them naked is hard to do.." I shrugged as the waitress brought our drinks and placed them on the table.
"Your order will be out in a few minutes."
I nodded, smiling as she walked off to attend to another table.
"So... do you guys have any hobbies?" I was trying to get the awkwardness out of the air...we seemd to get back to talking about myself more than I wanted to.

Edward said nothing, but merely took his water and smirked into the rim.
"Should have made a few mental notes while you were fused with Roy." He mutterd. ((Gomen, I can't remember if he knew about that or not >.> will fix if wrong))
That would have been wonderful he thought, then the Colonel would have gotten just what he deserved at the time...complete and utter humiliation.
He smirked, almost cat-like and snickered at the horrible thought.
Alphonse, ignoring the scary look his brother's face had adopted, shook his head.
"None that I can recall...just...Alchemy. What about you? I mean besides painting of course..."

[he did know about them fused, remember he gave shiba a pen to make her hair black?? and they hugged and stuff? XD]

"Whats that supposed to mean?" I said, looking to him with a stern expression.
"Me hobbies?" Well... Mostly just painting...oh! And Oragami!" I grinned, pulling a small crane from my back pack and placing it on the table.
"If I dont have the time to paint and Im bored, I just make these." It was about he size of a half dollar and pink.
I took off my glasses and rubbed my eyes.
"I do alchemy when I need to... so I dont really consider it a 'hobby' per-say... I also enjoy animals, but I don't see friendly ones too often" I said, placing my glasses on the table, interlacing my fingers and leaning my head on them and looking across the table at Alphonse. I had a feeling Ed was regretting sitting beside me, because I was facing Al.

((Oh yeah...*shifty eyes* I knew that....just seeing if you were paying attention.....*shifty eyes* LOL))

"♪Oh nothing.♪" He sing-songed.
"Nothing at ALL." He chuckled behind a tight lipped grin.
"Wow." Alphonse was almost afraid to lift the small paper bird off the table, it looked so frail and thin.
"That's amazing, to fold paper..without it tearing and getting all mushed up.." He turned it to the left with a gentle nudge from a finger and looked at the crisp and clean creases in the body, and over the head.
"Did you teach yourself?"

[i REALLY dont knwo what Ed was talking about XD]

"hmph" I stuck my tongue out at him and looked to Al again.
"I can show you if you like, my teacher showed my how to make them. I made a chandelier out of.. about 2,000 of them last semester. It was crazy." I chuckled.
"I was making cranes day and night for about a month to have enough for the project. My teacher loved it though, and she kept it. I keep thinking if I should make another to sell, since its a unique art noone really knows about."
The waitress came by and placed the hot plate down in front of Ed, Al then me, on top of my crane. I.. didnt mind.. she probably didnt see it. She then rushed off.
"Well.. the life of that one was short.." I joked, picking up my fork.

((XDD, DX Oh noes!!!))

"Oh I wish, I tried a few times...but all that ever came out of the attempts was a trashcan full of paper." He grinned and then listened with an odd fascination about the project her teacher had kept.
"Woah....." Was all he could say...then...the unspeakable happened.

Al looked ready to cry, his nose turned pink and his cheeks got all splotchy.
"How can you say that?" He sniffed.
"It was so pretty..and now..." He lifted the edge of the plate just long enough to retreive the small crumpled paper and tried to right it's oddly bent head, and rumpled wings.
"Aww...."
Ed shook his head and cocked an eyebrow..honestly..he would never know what went through Al's head at times.

I giggled and took it from him and fixed it quickly and handed it back to him.
"Here you go, you can keep her. Maybe I'll show you when were on the tran on the way to Risembool, since its a 2 day trip...." I picked up my form and knife and cut my pancakes.
"You wanna learn too Ed?" I asked, shoving a piece of pancake into my mouth, and gulping it down with my orange juice.

((LOL He's just being mean....*shivers* It's soooo c-c-coldddd!! *wraps up in blanket*))

Alphonse, blushed, a little ashamed at the way he'd fussed, but nonetheless took the crane, tucking it safely away into one of his pockets.
"That'd be great! Its a fairly long ride, that'll give us both something to do."
Edward bilinked and looked over from his own plate, his fork stuck in his mouth.
"Muh Uh, thaf's fine wif me." He said shrugging as he swallowed.

I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, its easy to do once you get the hang of it. I have a feeling Ed's will be having fun when we make them as well."
I ate quietly, glancing the room; it wasnt very busy for a Thursday. I looked to Ed and smiled as I chewed.
"You okay?" I asked meekly.

((XDD That's alright, I'm surfing the net, looking for stuff anyway))
Alphonse chuckled, neither he nor Ed had been very good at folding paper, they'd both tried it once, and then that had been it, it hadn't crossed their minds again until now.
"Hey, hey, hey." Edward protested.
"I'm not that bad at picking up on stuff, some even say I'm a fast learner."
He looked over at Shiba nodding.
"Sure, I'm fine, why?"

Sipping my orange juice, I smiled at Alphonse.
"Have you tried to make origami with alchemy? Its cheating but its fun to see if it can be done correctly that way too." I finished my 2 pancakes, leaving two left and I nibbled on a sweet sausage; I savored every bite.
I smiled at Edward, swallowing the meat.
"I bet you are, but you sure took a long ass time noticing me.." I poked his nose softly with my index finger and only smiled widely at him. His eyes... were still so alluring. I tucked my hair behind my ears and looked back to my plate and grabbed the syrup and poured it on, still blushing at what I had just said, right in front of Alphonse.
"More... sugar...." I said to myself, eying the stream flowing from the bottle.
After a pool formed atop my pancake, I paced the bottle down and cut my pancakes.
"So, how old is Winry? Is she older, younger than you guys? Does she have any pets? Will I be sleeping in the yard???" I yawned, finishing up one more pancake and looking back and fourth to each of the boys.
"Do you think she'll be mad that you dont have automail anymore?"

((Sugar!!! *downs syrup*))

"You know...I've never thought about that..we should try it brother!"
Edward, was too busy sniffing, and rubbing his nose to bother answering.
"Hey, hey! I noticed you! More than you realize!" He shifted his eyes left and right, and blushed.
"Or did you forget the hot spring?"
Both Elrics shifted gazes and then waved their hands as if to slow her down.
"Hang on a sec geeze, let me think for a minute."
Edward tucked his hand under his chin before answering.
"She's about our age, gicve or take a year, yes, a dog named den, sweet old girl really, been with Winry for years. No you won't be sleeping in the yard, Granny will probably put you up in our old room." He stopped and thought a moment.
"Why should she be?" Came the response from Alphonse looking over his plate.
"She's been waiting this long to see us Human again, what could possibly make her mad?"

I blushed and shook my head at him, poking his forehead hard, leaning into him.
"Oh yeah, what time? The time you saw me and Kiri naked, or last night?" I grinned, shifting eyes back and fourth at Al and Ed; I didnt need Alponse getting the wrong idea...

I finished my sausage and cut my pancakes as I listened to him, nodding every now and again.
"Oh a dog? How sweet!!" i squeed, biting into a pancake.
"You have your own room at her house? Then where will the two of you sleep? Ill be alone in there???" I made a cute worried face; I wanted Ed as near for as long as I could have him.

I shook my head.
"Arent you guys her best customers for automail? You did say shes your mechanic..?" I finished one pancake and sipped my joice, looking to him.

((*stabs computer*))

"OH GEEZE SHIBA!" Edward cried, before quieting down and whispering behind his hand.
"You know...when you and Kiri were talking...."

"We kind of have a makeshift room, it's more of a spare that Granny has. We'll be sleeping out in the den, she's got a big couch that Brother and I can alternate sleeping on."
Alphonse laughed.
"Ed is...er..was. She's probably going to cry when she finds out that we're back, first out of joy, then out of the realization that she doesn't have her 'cash cow' as she so fondly put it."

I giggled as he leaned in close to whisper to me behind his hand, i leaned in close to him, cupping my hand beside my mouth too.
"Uh huh sure, you sure got an eye-full didnt you, yah perv!" I aggressively whispered back, grinning like a cat.

I sat back in my seat, letting myself have the last word and nodded to Alphonse.
"Sounds like a nice home. I... dont wanna be alone in there though, and make one of you sleep on the floor, so Ill just sleep outside, in a tent" I smiled, being totally serious.
"Besides, if Risembool is as beautiful as you say, Id prefer to sleep under the stars while I can."

Edward only blushed.
"Sh-Shush you." He chuckled.

"Oh there's no need to do that, we can just--" Alphonse stopped. Outside there was a great noise, like the chimes from a clock tower. He counted.
"Ten...eleven...twelve." A whistle blowed in the distance.
"OH CRAP!"
In a flurry, Edward leapt to his feet and left what he thought would cover the price of breakfast and a tip, grabbing up their bags as he and Alphonse stumbled out the door, dragging Shiba with them.
They'd lost track of all time in that place, and now, with a puff of black smoke billowing up into the air, it seemed their train would leave them.

I winked at him, grinning.

"The train!!" I gripped up my bag as I was yanked from my seat and dragged behind the fleeing brothers.

"We'll never make it" I gasped, trying my best to keep up and keep a tight grip on Eds sweaty hand.

The train whistled again, gaining speed.

Edward shook his head.
"Oh no! We are NOT missing this train!" They were on the platform, the train just yards ahead, he piled on the speed. He and Alphonse were getting to be masters of the train hop, and as soon as they hit the end of the walkway, both of them leapt out and caught hold of the train's cabboose rail. Edward hauled Shiba up beside him, nudging her along the railing to the back platform where they could all catch their breath.

Panting, I ran on as fast as my exhausted aching legs would carry me and was yanked up onto the train beside Ed. I held on to the railing tightly, watching the tracks go by, sweat filed off my face and I looked to them exhaustedly and gave them the thumbs up.

I looked in the door and all seemed quiet.
"Lets go in, we can tell them we'll buy our tickets on the train" I smiled.

((WHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!! After all that mess last week, it's good to be back!! *glomps* And the good news is that Mene looks like it won't be kicking me tonight!!! ...course that's probably because I'm in my room, on my comp, but still LOL))

Edward, who seemed to be the first to catch his breath, smiled back at her.
"Bet that's the first time you had to board a train like that." He chuckled between pants.
"Yeah, that sounds good, you guys catch an empty spot and I'll meet you." Edward smiled, taking out his wallet, and headed inside. Alphonse, who, had been leaning against the railing, collapsed into the corner.
"Whew!" He said after the door closed behind his brother.
"I just about forgot how hard it is to run when you've been out of shape for a while."

Sorry I didnt come on tonight, i planned on it all day and I had an unexpected visit by my boyfriend here at the dorm- he had alot on his mind and had to talk(and hes not usually like thatXD)... im sorry TT.TT]

I shook my head, still panting as a bead of sweat ran down from my brow.
"No way, I guess thats the adventures of the Elric brothers, huh?" I said, laughing between gasps as well.
I nodded as he went inside and I looked down at Alphonse. I put my hand out to him.
"Come on now, you were out of shape physically... no blame... come on, and we'll find an empty seat to sit in as Ed goes to pay... I'll havta pay him back...somehow..." I said, scratching the back of my head with my free hand.[/i]
