Edward looked back.
"You sure?" He asked....completely oblivious. ((XDDDDD))

"Winry?" Alphonse asked concerned.
"Are you okay?...you...you seem....I don't know...but you don't seem yourself."

Already int he room, he had no idea I couldn't hear him. Didnt see anything bare...but plenty of package...

The question struck her and she lowered her eyes.
"You know... uhm.. not all to fond of the idea of Edw ith another girl, thats all... heheh..." she tried to keep her eyes averted from him, especially his eyes...for some reason, she had an urge to keep staring into them. She fidgeted and twiddled her fingers.

Alphonse smiled, leaning forward onto his knees, and propping his chin up with a hand.
"Funny..." He said with a slight laugh.
"Thought you'd have been over that since you talked to Shiba this morning."
((Bah, all I could think of XP))

[he could FINISH in the bathroom so she could get UN naked XD]

She shook her head with a shrug.
"Ill always hate myself for not saying anything all these years. Its my own dumb fault. It still lingers over my shoulder that he looks at someone else the way I want to be looked at.." she brought her knees up to her chest and folded her arms around them. A long sigh and she closed her eyes.
"I just... want him to be happy, even if it means I'm not, yah know?"

Once he was dressed, or as much as he was willing to get at the moment, Edward stepped out of the bathroom, carrying his shoes with him.
"I wonder where Shiba went..." He mumbled to himself before starting down the stairs.

Alphonse nodded.
"I guess that's just something that you and Ed will have to deal with....I'm sorry though...if it's any help...though I know it's not much." He smiled over.
"I'm sure things will work out how they're meant to in the end Winry, for you, Ed, Shiba, everyone. So....just try to be happy for the time being, be happy that you're alive, that you live here in this house..and...well...that most of the ones you love are here too."

I heard the door open from Als room and hurried into the bathroom, closing the door behind me and pulled my clothes from the line and dried them with a quick clap. I dressed quickly and went into Als room and rummaged though my back pack, put on some deodorant and body spray and was about to shut it when i saw my sketch book. I opened it to see the man and woman I was drawing yesterday and sighed, ripping it out and holding it. I closed my bag and headed down the steps.

She blushed and nodded.
"Theres plenty of others out there, i suppose...." her eyes wandered to meet his and she smiled a little. She saw Ed coming down the steps and waved.
"'ello smelleh. Get slaughters by your wife?" She teased.

Alphonse nodded.
Edward chuckled on his way down.
"Eh heh, aren't you clever Winry, in case you haven't noticed, I am neither dead, nor married. so there." he stuck out his tounge and hopped down to the bottom.

Alphonse sighed and shook his head.
"And you're both still children on the inside aren't you?" He mumbled.

I came down soon after and waved to everyone in the room.
"Hey." the paper obvious in my hand.
"Oh Ed, c'mere, I keep forgetting to ask you, if you know who this couple is. I keep seeing their horrified faces in my memory and I dont know why...." I went to his side and handed him the drawing of a blond pair of doctors.

Winry laughed.
"Well, in that case I guess you chickened out..baby." She stuck out her toungue back at him and folded her arm and crossing her legs under her.

Ed looked back and cocked his head.
"Sure.." He stepped up near Shiba and looked over her shoulder.
His eyes widened, and he looked over to Winry before stepping back.
"Oh ah...those two....""Who is it Ed?" Al asked from the couch.
"Ahhh....."

"I guess I did." He smiled and matched her tone.

[HE cant reach over her shoulder LOLLLL OH gawd, ur avi is hot like Kane now...]

Winry caught his glance and stood.
"What is it?" She asked, walking closer to us.
"Its a memory i cant seem to grasp, maybe you know who they are.." I held the paper out to her.
She looked at it quizzically before taking it in her hands. Studying it... her eyes widened.
"Mom...Dad...where did you see them..Shiba?" her eyes swelled as she looked to me. I scratched hte back of my head.
"Uhm, some dreams Ive been having." Lie. I didnt wanna tell her of my power... I didnt think it would be a good idea for more people to know about it.
"Theyre your parents, Winry?" With a sniff and a nod, she said yes.

Edward looked over.
"They were caught up in the Ishballan war....and....they never made it back..." He sighed and shook his head...he knew where it'd come from....
"Blast..." He muttered.
Mustang was going to get an earful for this.....even if it really wasn't his fault...
"Oh Winry..." Al moved beside her and held her tight just letting her cry.
"You still miss them don't you?"

My vision.... was them pleading for life...then a hand flicked and burst them into flames... it was hard to watch. I closed my eyes.
"I...I'm sorry Winry.. I didnt know." I lowered my head and hid my eyes from them. Great. More of a reason for her to hate me.
Winry snuggled into Als chest and cried, nodding. She mumbled from his breast:
"Ill always miss them, like you and Ed miss your mom."
I looked pleadingly to Ed, worry obvious on my expression.
She held on to Al as she looked up at me though torrents of tears.
"Its not your fault; its nice to see them smiling."

Al ran a hand over her hair.
"Mm mmm....no matter how much time has been....we're always going to miss her..."
Edward nodded and sighed.
"It's been a while since I've seen the Rockbells faces....Winry's right..it's nice to seem them happy."

My aching heart finally felt some sort of relief. I sighed and plopped down on the couch, rubbing my temples.
"Oh god, I have a long journey ahead of me..." I groaned, letting out a wide yawn. I didnt sleep too well.
Winry finally stopped and took the picture and mounted it on the wall, beside a photo of them with ehr as a baby.
"Its nice... I'm sorry I got so emotional." She said simply, walking back to Al's warm arm.
"Its... just been so long." She sighed, sitting down on the couch.
I folded my hands in my lap, nervously.
"My... parents died too. We all... have alot in common, I suppose. But we always have...each other." I looked aorund at them and just smiled.
Winry...thought for a moment and smiled, nodding too.

Pinako poked her head in and smiled.
"But you won't always have breakfast waiting on you, get in here before it gets cold." She shook her spatuala at the group and turned back to her kitchen.

I gulped and nodded quickly, heading out into the kitchen, Winry following behind me. I sat down and looked ov er the table and practically cried at the beautiful sight of food.

Edward and Alphonse followed behind the two girls, trying at best, to keep their stomachs from growling too loudly.
"Dig in kids, I hate having leftovers." Pinako smiled placing the last plate on the table, and took her seat, honestly, it was too early in the morning for all this emotional nonsense. There were things to be done, and it would have seemed that Edward and Alphonse as well as their new friend had places to go.

['Ello there Hatch! I must ask- how long do I have you tonight?]

I Nodded and took a helping of pancakes and poured on the syrup like it was the last bottle on earth. I dug in, not even bothering with my manners; this would be the last real meal id have in a while. My eyes darted back and fourth to each person at the table. I gulped quickly and made sure not to choke.
Within minutes I was finished.

[gah! I did some sketches of Noah, the new dude from angelic twins... im gonna go scan that real fast, so you get an idea of him and his body look. Havn't had a chance to do a finished art of him.]

((As long as you usually do XD LOL already you have artses of Noah? XDDD That's funny, I did a quick sketch...well at least of his upper body, wasn't sure about how he looked though so I kinda BSed it XDD But I'm curious as to what he really looks like now))

Ed chuckled seeing Shiba take 'digging in' to heart as he piled his plate with bacon and most of the other breakfast meats that Pinako had made, only swiping a few biscuts to go along with them.
Al on the other hand, was much more varied, even going as far as to put what fruit there was on his plate.
"Well now, you all seem to be hungry don't you?" Pinako chuckled.
"So, Ed, I take it that you're all leaving today?"
"Mmmhmm." He said around his food.
"We're going to see Shiba at least to Central, and there me and Al will have to go report on everything to Mustang....and from there...we'll have to decide what we're going to do then.."

[Yeah, its only quick details of him, his face, hands/feet and wings. Im fixing it a bit in photoshop, so i wont post in AT until I have it ready to go in there. Nothing fancy]

I listened intently, sitting back in my seat, placing my hands over my satisfied belly. I yawned, and downed a glass full of orange juice.
I nodded.
"i have to get back to North City and find a job. I cant go on all summer without one, not being in school, and all. I go back in late August, so I have plenty of work-time. Cant follow the Elrics like I belong in the group huh?" I smiled at them from across the table, winking at Edward.

Alphonse sighed.
"Ah, but he's going to miss you, isn't that right Ed?"
"Yeah..." He looked off in the distance almost dreamily.
"I'm going to miss all those smacks and reprimands too." Al shook his head, and gave his brother a swift kick in the shin under the table.
"That wasn't nice Ed."
"Ow!....but it was the truth..." Alphonse threatened him with a glare and Edward nodded.
"Alright, alright, She knows I'm going to miss her.....right Shiba?" He looked over in her general direction, only pausing a moment in eating.

I smiled at him, then glanced at Alphonse, then back to Ed.
"Of course. You need someone around to keep you in line." I laughed.
"Dont worry, I'll miss you too Ed. And Al, you too. You both know where to go to find me when youre ready." I stood, with my plate and glass and went to the sink and began washing them.
"Thank you for the great meal, Granny, it was sure something ill remember."
Winry smiled at the three.
"Must be nice to know youll all meet up soon. Me... I just wait for them to show up when they feel like it."
I frowned and glanced at Al.'
"I'm sure ole Alphonse here will find the time out of his busy schedule to call you, wont you Al?" I winked at him.

Pinako smiled and nodded.
"You're welcome dear, you just come back anytime you feel like eating this old woman's cooking again, alright?"
Both Elrics looked over at Winry.
"Aw, now you know we're going to be counting the days till we get back here Winry." Al smiled.
"Speak for yourself." Ed teased sticking out his tounge.
"Me I think I can stand for some peace and quiet."

Alphonse looked back and smiled nodding.
"If it's going to be nothing but paperwork for the next little while, I might even leave Ed in Central...if he promises to behave of course, and come back again."

I nodded, placing the dishes ion the drying rack.
"Of course. Youre cooking is the best." I grabbed up my bag and put it over my shoulder.
"Yeah, enjoy that peace and quiet, then come back to North City when youre ready for some more nagging" I laughed.
Winry squeaked and put her hands together, leaning in closer to Al.
"Really?! Youll come back alone? Ill havta make some nice plans then, and maybe even buy some new clothes. You need 'em too, dont you Alphonse. Dont worry, Ill pick you out a handsome outfit."
I smiled and bowed.
"I must be going, my train will be arriving soon." I headed for the door, hoping Ed would follow, and at least walk me to the station.

"I will." He smiled and stood with his own plates.
"If Ed can behave himself around the Colonel." Alphonse said with a nod.
"Hmm...you're right about that..." He looked down at his clothes...they were certainly dirtier than he remembered.
"Oh, that's right! Al come on! We need to get to the train station before it leaves without us again!" Ed moved beside Shiba.
"That is if you don't find the idea of us riding the same train as you all that apalling." He turned and waved.
"Bye Granny, Bye Winry. See you again!"
"Bye!"
"Goodbye dears, take care now, and don't be afraid to just drop in again! You're all family after all!"
