Winry ran to the door as they all rushed out and waved.
"Bye guys, take care of yourselves! Call if you need anything!" She yelled.

I ran, as fast as my feet could carry me and I glanced at the nearing clock tower; it struck 10.
"Gah, c'mon guys! It leaves like, now!" I said, running faster.
I looked over at Ed as we ran.
"Of course I dont mind us taking the same train, you act like I dont wanna have anything to do with you or something." I replied, panting between words.

"We will!" The Elrics called back.

"NOT AGAIN! ED WHY DON'T WE EVER LEAVE EARLIER!?"
"I don't know, you wouldn't wake up that's for sure!"
"Oh sure pass it off on me why don't you?!"
Ed looked over with a smile.
"I know, just wanted to make sure."

[XDD Purple words!]

"C'mon guys, its all our faults. Look, its rolling off!" i yelled, running on and jumping onto the platform last minute. I looked back to Ed and Al and put out my hands as the train gained speed.
"C'MON GUYS, GRAB MY HANDS!!!" yelled to them.

"WAHHHH!!!"
"NOT AGAIN!" The Elrics leapt off at the last minute grabbing Shiba's hands.
"Somehow, I think....*huff huff* This was a lot easier..*puff puff* When I was armor!"

I pulled them up with all the strength I had and leaned against the car, catching my breath, my hands across my chest.
"I think its...because you...didnt have lungs..." I laughed between breaths and looked to Ed.
"Are you alright?"

"Im fine." Ed patted Al on the back when he started coughing.
"How about you shortstop?"
"F-*COUGH* ine.....I think...*cough cough*" He would be better once he caught his second wind....and got his body back in shape.

I smiled and looked about.
"C'mon, lets go in and sit down." I put an arm around Al's shoulder to help him up. Seemed like dejavu.
Inside, a clerk came up to us.
"Hello, just get on? We have only a private car open. Please follow me." I nodded and jerked my head forward at Ed, for us to follow the man.

"Right." Ed and Al followed close behind the clerk sighing. It was always like this....if they were lucky, they might get on right as it started to move...but there was no way that they would ever make it to a train station with more than minutes to spare if any.

We were shown to the private car and I sat down beside the window and stretched out. It would be a long 2 day trip. I patted the seat for Ed to sit next to me.
"If you need anything, ring the bell. Enjoy the ride."
I looked out the window at the world going by and yawned.
"So, papers to do in Central? Then what?" I asked him, glancing over to meet his amber eyes.

Ed smiled and took his seat while Al sat across from them.
"I guess so....I'm going to have to keep my arm and leg a secret for a while...if not the whole time I'm there....with them back...Mustang's lie about me losing them in the Eastern War is moot. I'll have to check in with him first thing...and see where things go from there."

I nodded, looking to him as he sat down.
"Mustang seems like the kind of guy to get you working more now that.. you have nothing to really hide from the others..." I folded my hands in my lap and looked down.
"So, Im sure I wont be seeing you for quite a while, Im guessing.."

Edward laughed.
"Oh I've got plenty to hide....and so does he...apparently...." After all...he did let Scar go numerous times didn't he? He scoffed.
"But I'm sure I'll weasel my way out of things."
"If Ed's good at anything, it's weaseling." Alphonse chimed in.
"Thanks..."

[Nighty]

I smiled, holding back a giggle and took a hold of his hand.
"Just...come home safe.." I looked to Alphonse.
"You too, whether you decide to come with Ed, or go back to Risembool, I only wish for your safety."


In a dark lab, not too far off, a tall animal-like creature stood, laughing over a tank full of liquid, and a nude young familiar blond floated inside the tube, bubbles all about her.
"Soon my sweet..." He whispered.

Edward squeezed and smiled.
"Of course, I'd hate to do anything to upset you."
Alphonse nodded right along with him.
"I'll be safe, after the whole deal with the Philosopher's Stone, anything else is a cake walk."

After 2 days, North City was the stop. I stood, slinging my bag over my shoulder, exhasued from the long journey.

"Well... be safe you two..." I quickly bent down to Eds level and kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear "I love you, I'll be waiting."

((I'm sore, been running two cameras for two nights in a row and my leg is stinging >.< THOSE MUSCLES WERE NOT MEANT TO BE USED THIS OFTEN!!! XDD

Edward really hadn't planned to go this far, but since he'd paid for a round trip why not? He smiled and kissed her back.
"I'll be coming for you as soon as I can." He promised.
"If nothing sees fit to get in my way."
"We'll see you soon right Shiba!?" Al piped up.
"You're not going to go off somewhere where we can't find you are you?" He stood just long enough to give her a quick hug.
"Because I want to see how your art is coming when I visit next time alright?" He paused..and sighed.
"We're both really going to miss you...."

I looked to him and nodded. I looked to Alphonse and gave him a thumbs up.
"You bet, and no worried sweets, I belong in North City. And dont worry, I have a portrait of Ed to work on." I winked at Ed then looked back to Al, hugging him again, and running my hand over the back of his hair.
"Ill miss you too.. keep an eye on your big brother for me... and Ill see you again soon." I let him go and ran for the door and jumped out. I waved from where I stood.
"BYE!!! Be Safe!!!" I yelled to the rolling away train.

((Monday signaled the start of Revival at church, unfortunately, not everyone in the Media Booth has come, so I've been running two cameras both nights until Hayden can come down from his drum set and run the other one. @[email protected] What book is it? Both Edward and Alphonse were practically hanging out the window as they pulled from the station.
"BYEEE!!!" They both cried waving frantically until the were out of sight.
"Well...now what?" Al asked settling back into his seat.
"Now....we see what we see when we get to Central...in another day or so..."

I waved back then slowed then my arm fell finally as the train left over the sun setting horizion.
"Now... off to find a job." I adjusted the weight of my bag on my shoulder and headed off into town.

"SHIBA! Itgs great to see yah kid, how are yah?" His cigarette smelling breath was always welcome; he was an old manager of the bar down the street.
"Im fine sir, hey I was looking for a job, you think I could be a waitress here or something?"
he scratched his beard and nodded.
"I dont have any spots open for that, but I have been looking for an entertainer for a few nights a week. Whaddya say?"
I quirked an eyebrow.
"What kind of entertainment..."
He jerked a thumb at his stage.
"Whatever yah want. Dance, sing, paint, strip. Anything you think will bring the customers in. Ill give yah 1/4 what I make in tips plus your pay rate, what do yah say"
I nodded.
"Ill do it!"

Edward and Alphonse looked up...they stood before the end point of a long journey...and hopefully...that was it. Central Buliding loomed before them like a starched white blemish on their lives, mocking them with it's formalities and State ties.
"Well." Ed said shouldering their case.
"Let's see what Mustang has to tell us."

Moments later, he and Alphonse stood outside the Colonel's office...Edward sighed and knocked.....hoping that the colonel wasn't in.

as for rough sketch, yesh, awesome. I dont know what he'll be making me do, if anything, involved with his comic. As for the book ill be working on there, its coloring the Princess and the Pea Story ^-^]

In his office, Mustang sat... staring in a dreamy state at a photo of him and Hughes, smiling, laughing like old times. With a sigh, he took a sip of his coffee, spiked with some Whiskey.
A slam of the door and Armstrong stood in the doorway, saluting.
"Sir, Ive received word the Elrics have arrived."
He grinned.
"Excellent... just as I hoped..." he looked tot he shadow in the corner and shooed him off; he stauntered off and into the hidden doorway in the wall.

Inside the bar, I was set up on the stage and had my makeshift easel (a chair) set up on the stage and my paints. Only a few there watched, but I was not to be intimidated. I poured out some paint and started quickly, stroke left, right, yellow, brown...I was dressed in a very small shirt, a tube tob, to be exact, and short shorts. If my art wouldnt attract the drunks, my figure would.

"You know Al, you really don't have to go in with me." Edward said with a backwards glance.
"Please. As if I'd let you go on your own this time...besides." He glanced about feeling just a little self-concious.
"I don't want to be out here all alone....it...it feels weird to be back here.....except not in armor."
Edward smiled.
"Alright, I suppose when you put it like that I can't leave you out here can I?" He waved with his hand.
"Come on then..."

The door flung open and onward Armstrong ran...a trail of pink sparkles followed, and at the station he gripped up the boys and hugged them dearly, letting only a few tears drop.
"OHHH ELRICS! I'm so glad to see you've made it here to Central alright! I am also glad to see you are both...healed of your conditions..." He smiled though his blond 'stache and placed the boys down on their feet.
"I have to take you to see Lieutenant Colonial right away. He has urgent business with you, Ed. As for you, Little Alphonse..." He pulled out some money.
"I was told you need some clothes for your own; dont need an Ed look-alike running amuck in town, huh?"

Completing the 15 minute rough painting of Edward, I stood and bowed to an audience which grew from 5 when i stared, to about 25. I was pleased at the applause.

"OH CR-GUUKKKK!!!!!" Edward felt his poor body being squuezed to the brink of breaking a few bones, after looking over at Al...he deemed he felt the same.
"Hello...Major..." He managed to choke out.
"Great..." He coughed, as he was set down...the Colonel wasn't out for the day..... He groaned inwardly and then smiled.
"Well, looks like you're on your own...sorry Al." Alphonse looked at the Major.
"But--" He stopped himself....aruging with the major was....wasn't that great of a plan...he winced at the thought of being caught in another hug....he doubted his body would survive another one.
"Right.....but Central is so big Major...I'll never find my way around here...or know what to get..." He sighed...the horror of shopping made his skin crawl.

He smiled, sparkles appeared at his whim, he looked to the sky, clutching Als hands in his massive ones.
"Oh my dear boy, who said you were going alone?! I know ALL the wonderful shops in central! I will be your guide!" He said gallantly.
"As for you, Edward Elric. Roy is waiting for you in his office. I would hurry; there is a car waiting for you out front."
He jerked his loving gaze to Al.
"Oh you got so big and fleshy and handsome! COME WE must find WONDERFUL clothing to impress the dearest Shiba and young Winry!" he took him by the hand and frolicked towards town in a dreamy, starry-eyed bliss.

A whistle and a wave, Hawkeye smiled a way downward.
"Need a lift?" She yelle dover the slowly vanishing crowd.
