He only smiled back at Al and shrugged.
"Youre abut 17 now.. you should start looking to settle down, and I think Winry is the right girl for you!"

Alphonse let his shoulders slump in exhasperation.
"Major...you're terrible." He looked around with a sigh....And wondered if he could even wear half the things that were bought in a single lifetime.
((Sure.))

[omg there was just a bug in my room, and i got Oreo to kill it but she didn't , she just looked at it, so i smashed it dead with a sneaker, then went to drop its dead body in the trash and it landed in my purse...so i just dumped out my purse, and now its clean LOL...gave my mom about... 10 AAA batteries that were in there, as compensation for making racket LOL. and yesh digital cameras and laptops RULE!]

Roy sat at his desk, tapping his fingers the next day, waiting for Ed to arrive... he would drive down there himself to talk to her if he had to...this had to work. He glanced impatiently at the clock, 9 am. The boy was probably still alseep... he groaned, downing a non spiked cup of coffee.


I awoke in my happy tent and looked around. I quickly dressed and brought my tent back to the ground it was born from. i headed towards the mortgage office, to buy some land on the outskirts of town; where it was peaceful.

((Wow....all that just to clean out your purse? XDDD What kind of bug was it? *ish a bug nut* XDD))

"EEEEEE~DDDDDDDD!!!!!" Alphonse called from the kitchen area of the hotel room that they had rented for the night.
"GET UP! WERN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO MEET WITH THE COLONEL TODAY!?" A crash and he winced, shaking his head.
"Always the same." Edward dashed from one room to another, first taking a quick shower, then running around trying to find all his clothes, and then everything that he'd taken out of their suitcase, Al watched him with an odd fascination his own case, bought the day before, ready and waiting on him beside the door.
"So we're going up to North City already?"
"Yeah!" Ed called from around a corner.
"The Colonel wants to ask Shiba something."
"Hm....Wonder what it could be?"
"Nothing really...not from what I understand, but I suppose that we'll find out everything once we get there won't we?""I guess...."

[donno, some small black beetle.... but the bastard was fast and WOULD NOT die...]

He sighed and stod, and started pacing...

In the office, an elderly woman looked up from her trashy romance novel and sneered.
"Can I help you?" She asked, thinking I only wanted to use the bathroom or something, becaause I was so young.
"Hello, Id like to buy 10 acres of land, on the east outskirts of town."
she chuckled.
"Really? Lets see..." she wrote some cvalculations down then looked up at me.
"Your price will be 270,000 dollars."
My face nearly dropped.
"Uhm..do you do monthly payments?"
She nodded, and I let out a deep sigh.
"Okay, well I have a down payment here... lets see.." I took a seat before her desk and rummaged though my back pack and pulled out the pile of cash I made the night before.
"745$. Its all I have. I will make the payments as I go along. May I have it?"
The woman looked to the money and laughed.
"My dear, you make it seem so easy. Theres piles of paperwork to fill out, and you must have a co-pwner sign with you. I cant just give you this land, you need someone else."
I sighed.
"I..see, well Im expecting someone to come back in town soon, can I sign now, and ill bring hikm back later?"
She shook her head.

((XDDDDDD!!!! LOLZ That they are, that they are, mostly the only fast buggers we get are cockroaches...one of those little buggers was in my room the other night, I let him live until he lit on me a second time...then it was WAR!! XDD))

Edward and Alphonse raced through the streets heading for the Colonel's office buliding.
"I TOLD you we should have left earlier!" Al yelled.
"Shut up! How was I supposed to get up after getting in as late as we did!?"
"I did Ed why not you!?"
"I NEED my sleep Al, I can't show up in North City looking like a RACCOON can I?!"
"If the shoe fits Ed, if the shoe fits."
"Ah, be quiet!"
It was only a little longer before they made it to the front.
"You...wait...here....I'll, I'll be right back." Ed gulped in a deep breath, leaving his luggage with Al and headed inside.

[we get them up here too, but I havnt seen one in this house yet... ¬.¬ If you see one in your house you LET it live?? reminds me of my one friend from freshman year... because of her religion (they were from vietnam) they couldnt kill them... i stayed at her home and it was INFESTED. It ended up killing her hamster.. but she never realized it... I ended up sleeping on a single bed, with her XD never went there again *hides* but we still talk when we can]

I sighed and pushed the money back into my backpack and bowed to her.
"Ill be back when he comes back then." I said sadly, and headed out of the building. I sighed outside and looked up at the cloudy sky. i had hoped to suprize Ed with the land, and a start of a foundation, but I would have to wait for him.

Riza looked to Edward as he came in.
"Good morning, the Colonial has been waiting for you. Go on in." She said, keeping her ground beside the entrance.

((Yeah, bugs get one chance if they're found in the house, they either get put out (or in the roaches case, leave me alone while I'm Rping) or they die. I tend to be a little more lenient towards spiders than most insects, but that's just cause I'm partial to them XDD ))

He wheezed out a 'good morning' and waved as he went past....he was sure that the Colonel was going to give him down the road for being late.
"Morning." He said heading on in closing the door behind him more out of habit than privacy.
"Before you start, yes, I'm late, there I'm sorry. Happy?"

"Whatever, c'mon." He gripped up his keys and walked past him and opened the door.
"Shes not gonna come here on her own, so we'll go get her." He headed down the hallway, Riza and some other wandering soldiers saluting him as he walked past. He nodded, keeping his low-browed stare.
Outside he nodded at Al and walked past him.
"Nice to see youre human again." He said simply, handing him a ticket to Risembool.
"I called Winry this morning, She's expecting you.
"

Ed followed close behind, not really speaking....Roy seemed a bit....miffed...if that was the word for it.
Outside, poor Alphonse was caught up in all the excitement as he was handed a ticket, and with a glance at Edward, he sighed and nodded....oh well, so he wouldn't be going with Ed this time...but at least Granny and Winry would be happy to see him back so soon.
"See you Al."
"Bye Ed."

Armstrong immediately gripped up Alphonse form nowhere and hugged him tightly, torrents of tears falling from my eyes.
"OHHHH ALPHONSE! I will miss our wonderful, cherished time together! Do not forget the clothing we bought, especially for Winry!" He held up a tuxedo and handed it to him.
"She will be so glad to see you, and i will be glad to see you happy" He sniffed and stepped aside, pushing the rest of the bags to Als feet with his own.
Roy nodded at him.
"Sorry champ, your brother has some serious business with me, and its military work... Ill have him call you when we have finished the project."


I sighed and walked along the river bank. Something didnt seem right in my mind as I looked over the morning horizon. I plopped down in the grass and yawned. I was lonely.

Alphonse let out a squeak...well a choked squeak as he was gripped in the huge muscle..ie arms of the Major.
"Thank you...Ma...MAJOR....." He gasped out....honestly, it was hard work trying to breathe and get hugged by the Major at the same time...no wonder everyone avoided him if at all possible...his alchemy was great...but his HUGS...those were deadly.
Edward sent him an apologetic glance and turned to the Colonel.
"Speaking of which, shouldn't we get going?" He was too curious as to what this 'project' was to wait around any longer.

He nodded and walked off into the building that awaited him.

Mustang, on the other hand, nodded and jingled a set of keys from his pocket.
"Riza let me borrow her Porsche. Lets get going." He saluted Al loosely and said over his shoulder:
"THE TRAIN WILL BE LEAVING IN TEN MINUTES, BETTER HURRY!"
The car was parked nicely out front, top down, because Roy didnt know how to do it himself, He slyly jumped in the car over the door and turned the car on.
"Lets go Elric, lets not keep her waiting."

Alphonse caught his breath back just in time to wave off Edward and the Colonel.
He smiled and turned to grab his bags...his own train would be leaving soon and he still had to get to the station.

Edward whistled through his teeth.
"Wow Colonel, what did you do to convice the Lieutneant to let you use this? Marry her?" He slid into the passenger seat and buckled in.
"This is really nice."

He almost choked on his own spit as he pulled off and he forced out a laugh.
"Good one, Elric. Who'd wanna marry that stiff?" He headed towards North city, about a 6 hour car ride. His sleek black hair waved rapidly though the wind and he headed south.

"Eh heh..." Edward said unbelieving.
"You would." He muttered that last bit, just in case the Colonel had actually heard him.

Arriving in North City, he pulled up in front of the post office and looked over to the dozing Edward. He coughed aloud and looked around. He wasn't all too familar with this city, but he knew Ed had to be. he nudged him n the shoulder.
"We're here, go find her."

Meanwhile, i had fallen asleep in the grass beside the river, not too far away, my bag under my head as a pillow.

Ed mumbled in his sleep, waving away the intruding noise that the Colonel made.
"Nggnn....go 'way." He grumbled before a bump that the car went over jostled him awake.
"Wait what? What am I? A bloodhound?" He glared.
"How am I supposed to find her anyway? Use my nose?" He shoved his thumb up against his nose to make his point, only suceeding in hurting himself. He rubbed it with his hand to make it feel just a bit better....failing horribly.

He gritted his teeth and shoved him out of the car. He woouldnt tolerate these childish games of his.
"Ill be waiting on the outskirts of town. Dont disappoint me." He sped off.

I rolled over onto my side and held tightly to my own arm.
"Oh Eddyyy..."

Edward landed on his face and coughed in the dust that was left behind as the Colonel sped off.
"Jerk." He muttered rubbing his nose that hurt now more than ever.
"Feh." but like a good dog, he rose and brushed himself off and headed to the one place that seemed to bring them together time after time. The river.

Roy parked and leaned the seat back, turning on the radio. Guns N Roses, November Rain. He grinned, propping his head up with his hands behind his head, he pulled on his hat and lowered it over his eyes, to block the 6 pm sunset.

Still dead asleep in the grass, I still gripped my own arm and snuggled my hand.
"Elriiiccc..."

"Shhhiiiiiibbbbbaaaaa!" Ed called as he walked along the banks...he wanted to give her plenty of heads up in case she was bathing or something...he would hate to have something thrown at his head just for that.
"Are you around here? If you are, give a shout!"...obviously the Dog wasn't too happy about playing 'Fetch'.

I slowly opened my eyes, his voice echoed in my dreams of him and I looked around wearily, wiping the drool from the corner of my mouth. I saw him in the distance and waved, still sitting on the ground.
"EDWARRRDDD! OVER HERE!" I yelled out to him, smiling as wide as can be. Now i could take him to the mortgage place and we could start our home together.

((HAven't heard that one, gunna have to look it up. XDD))

He glanced over and saw Shiba in the grass by the water's edge. He smiled and snorted.
"Never fails." He muttered.
"It's the one place that we can always find each other."
He waved and headed over.

[OMG I have to kill you for saying that... Tim too. 'night]

I stood and leaving my bag for a moment, ran towards him and held him tightly in my arms, taking in the scent of his hair.
"I...missed you." I whispered into his ear.
