"Missed you too." He pulled back with a sigh the moment after.
"Uh..listen....Roy's here...he says that he needs your Alchemy for something....some...project that he's got going, but...I told him that he'd have to ask you personally if you'd help...that's why I'm here." He hugged her again.
"Though I'm really happy to see you so soon."

I ran a hand over his loose braid and stood back, looking down at him.
"Roy? Whats that pompas baboon want with me now? My... alchemy..??" My heart skipped a beat, emembering that he and i fused, so he knew what i could do, and Ed did not. I let out a deep sigh.
"Where's he at, lets go." I went and picked up my bag and slung it over my shoulder.
"And here I thought you and I could finally start our life together...today." I sighed and pointed to the bag, letting him lead the way.
"I earned alot of money yesterday, 750$ to be exact."

"He's supposed to be waiting on the edge of town, he sent me to come find you." The bitterness and resentment was not lost on that last bit of information, Edward was still miffed about being shoved out on his face.
"That's great to hear!" He said with sincere happiness.
"I'm glad to see that you're doing alright by yourself, for a while there I was a little worried. Especially after we headed on to Central."

[That sucks.... MAN theres a bad ass storm going on now... I may disappear for a few minutes if it gets too bad. Im on the 2nd floor in my house and the lightning is close.... VERY close. Yeah... ill be back on in a lil bi 20 mins... until the strom moves away OK BACK]

"Worry, about me? Oh youre so sweet, Im okay. Just lonesome at night." I looked down at the ground, taking a shy hold of his hand, swaying at his side.
"Leave it to the 'boss' to give you the dirty work, but its not like I'd go running to him." I shrugged, reaching the end of town. I peered around seeing only a lone Porsche blaring Aerosmith music.
"Well, where is he?" I knew for a fact Roy didnt have a Porsche...

"Awww, I wish I could help fix that...." Edward sighed.
"But as of late my chain's a little short." He smiled and squeezed her hand.
"I'm glad, I'd like to think I'm the one you'd come running to though." He chuckled.
Edward pointed to the self same Porsche and sighed.
"There....he likes to think he's living it up..but really it's not even his car."

"I do too. I miss you." i took a tighter group on his hand.
"I could probably fix that as soon as our mission with Roy is over..." I made a scissor shape with my free hand and winked at him.
My eyes widened and i snickered.

"HEY ROY!!" I yelled over the music.
He rolled, his hat falling off his face; he was dead asleep. I groaned.
"He's some Colonial..." I shurgged, making circles in the dirt, bobbing my head to Dream On.

"I'd be so happy if you would." He muttered smiling internally at the thought of a cut leash.

Edward looked over the car door and smiled...oh how easy it would be....just a little motion on the door handle and PLUMP! Out he'd come rolling...His hands twitched in anticipation, but he calmly shoved them into his pockets and sighed.
"Well...what do we do now? Should we just let him sleep like that?"

"Ill do my best, maybe I can work out a deal with Roy since he wants something with me so badly." I picked up his hat and grinned, putting it on and saluting Ed.
"You know damn well what I mean by that." I winked, pushing my hips forward, holding back a laugh. Roy shuffeld and sat up and waved wearly, fighting back a yawn.
"Hello there, I was wondering when you guys would return." He turned off the music and tapped the seat beside him.
"Shell we? We have business to attend to." He said, grinning.
"You look cute in that hat."
I laughed.
"Now youre just being cute to butter me up for something..."
"You know it." He laughed, winking.

Edward glared and hopped in the back..he figured he'd let Shiba have the front, and that way he could also keep an eye on that blasted sneaky Colonel.
"Now will you explain what this is all about?" He asked as he folded his arms up over his chest and propped his foot up on his knee.

He started the car and headed into the direction of central.
"I started an expierement a few months back, back when you became friends with that homoncoulus, and so far so good. I just need the final touches, and only you can do it, and you too Ed. We've been waiting for the right moment, and its that time..." he was vague with the details, and drove onward towards Central in rapid speed.

"wait, what kind of experiment are we talking Colonel? What did Kiri have to do with it? " Edward leaned forward and narrowed his eyes.
"What in the world are you trying to do with this anyway?"

A few hours later, I had fallen into a light sleep as we pulled up in front of central. Roy yawned and took the hat off my head, revealing I was asleep. he only smiled.
"If only I were younger and not in love already... he muttered to himself, pushing the bangs from my eyes.
"C'mon guys, we're here." He got out and stretched.

Edward hopped out of the car, ignoring that last bit, and stretched.
"Man, it's about time." He looked about him.
"Colonel..." He said with a glare.
"Did we have to drive all the way out there and back...couldn't you have just made the trip?"

I awoke slowly and climbed out of the car, rubbing my eyes.
"Sorry about that.." I said though a yawn.
"Car rides make me tired, since I dont get to ride in cars too often."
Roy just glared at Edward and smiled.
"I wouldnt have found her without you. Besides, I doubt she would have come with me so willingly." I nodded across the way, as we walked towards the building. It was about 9pm now.

"I guess, I guess." His stomach was jumping into his throat and it squrimed there in anticipation. He wanted to know what was going on, and it was going to kill him if he didn't find out soon.

Entering, only a few officers were around, saluted Roy. He waved them at ease and they did. Even Riza had gone home for the night.
We entered his office and he plopped down in his seat and looked to me as I sat down in one of the two seats across from his desk. I yawned, looking out the window. It was so late, I yearned for sleep.
"I can tell you are tired. Do you want to wait until tomorrow?" He looked to Edward.

Edward stuffed his arms into each other, and shook his head with a firm 'no'....well, he didn't want to wait...he took one glance over at Shiba and instantly softened.
"I'll leave it up to you Shiba...you look about dead on your feet...." He leaned over the back of the other chair there and crossed his legs at the ankles.

"I have a feeling this is gonna be pretty intense... and I think we should all be energized for this so, is it alright if this waits until the morning?"
Roy smiled, seeing my pleading eyes. He would do anything for her to stay interested in the project.
"Of course. Im tired from driving as well." He stood.
"We'll meet here tomorrow at 10am. In the mean time, you both get a good night sleep."
I nodded and stood, and looked to Ed.
"Lead the way. I donno if you wanna stay at an inn or just camp out. Either way, Im right behind you."

The clerk greeted us.
"Good evening, what can I help you with tonight?"
I yawned.

"Well, I've missed you, so we'll just get a room with two beds." He approached the clerk and paid for the night not answering too many questions and dodging those that he did answer, and finally he made his way back to Shiba.
"Want I should get your bag for you?" He asked handing her a spare key.
