I opened the door and flicked on the light and plopped down on the bed, not before kicking off my shoes at the door.
"Oh sleeping in a bed is so nice, it feels like forever...." the last time I had slept in a bed was the last time we were in a hotel... i stayed ina tent the whole time in Risembool. I yawned, pushing off my jeans and socks.

Ed stopped mid breath, step and everything.
"WHAT!?" He dropped the bag on his foot and held back a cry bending over to pick it up again rubbing his sore foot.
"He did what now?" He asked more quietly, looking around at the stares he got.
Ed came in behind her and set her bag in a chair.
"It's been a while huh? Makes me kind of miss Al and the Water Bug."

I calmly looked to him and nodded, pulling off my shirt and wlaking to the bag where he placed it and rummaged though it for my night shirt. As of right now I was only in my bra and panties. Th threw my shirt and pants on the arm of the chair.
"Yeah, he took her to dinner, and the music played to her favorite song, Margeretaville, and he asked her, one knee and all. She cried and agreed. It was sweet. Very well planned."
I nodded, pulling on the shirt finally and magically took off my bra and pulled it from my sleeve and shoved it into the bag.
"I miss Kiri more than you guys think... she was like a sister. I confided in her alot." I plopped down on my bed and looked to him.
"Do you always sleep in them dirty, same ol' clothes?"

Ed flopped back onto his own bed and sighed.
"Hard to believe it...stuffy old Roy actually finally popped the question." He smiled and nodded.
"About damn time too."
He sighed.
"Yeah, you and the Bug were really close....I know at least that much."
He looked over.
"What's wrong with my clothes?"

"Yeah, he was really nervous and shaky about it. It was cute, and sweet too. They deserve one another."
I sighed and rubbed my eyes.
"Ed, can you for once call her by her name? You never have..." I looked to him sadly.
"I know she meant something to you too."
I shrugged.
"Im not one for sleeping with all the germs of the day, thats why I change before i get into bed. I dont care if you sleep in your boxers and undershirt."

He looked over, and sighed.
"......The Bu--Kiri....I never really knew what to think of her, you know?" He rolled onto his side, facing Shiba.
"I was so scared for you when I found out what she was....but..I know she wasn't like anything....anyone, I'd met before."

He stuck out his tounge, but settled to stripping down like Shiba suggested, laying his clothes aside and stretching out...he felt so much better without all those layers of clothes on that he let out a sigh of contenment.
"This is nice." He muttered flopping back down.
"Really nice."

"Kiri was an amazing woman and I only wish...she was still here with us." i looked at my hands... the hands that killed her, that took her life... and I sighed deeply, closing my eyes, simmeying myself under the covers and snuggling in.
My eyebrows lifted as he got undressed, not seeming to mind i was watching. I smiled, seeing his bare, right arm. It was nice to know, that I had some effect in he and Al's return, If any.
"Edward, its so hot during the summer, I dont understand why you wear the black tank, a shirt on top of that AND your red jacket, and long, leather pants. I have enough money, Ill buy you a summer outfit, only if youll wear it. And it is alot nicer without all the clothing on huh. Thats why I love sleeping like this. When im alone, I usually sleep naked, but Ill save that for another day." I smiled at him.
I closed my eyes half way.
"What do you think Roy has for us..?" i said softly.

He sighed against his arm as he looked over at Shiba.
There was really nothing that he could say to ease anything that she was feeling, so he let it drop.
"Keh, I wear it because it's really all that I need. I don't have to worry about many layers, but it's enough to keep me warm if it gets cold at night."
He raised up a little.
"You really don't have to do that.." But he smiled.
"If you must, however,...I'll wear it. Deal?"

He turned and looked at the ceiling.
"Somehow....I'm not sure if I want to know..."

"But Ed, its summer. If anything its cool at night. I cant believe you never slept half naked, its so nice."
I sat up and nodded, smiling wide.
"Deal. After our encounter with Mustang, we'll go and pick you out an outfit."

I rolled onto my back as well and let out a deep sigh, cosing my heavy eyes.
"We'll see in the morning..."

Well, he couldn't argue with her there. He stretched out again with a yawn and flopped onto his stomach.
He chuckled.
"I just hope that it's not a neccecity, you never know when it comes to the Colonel."
He sighed into his pillow and nodded.
"Yep..." and with that, he was asleep.

The light chirrping of the birds outside and the slow lightening of the room made one of my eye crack open. I grunted and pulled my pillow over my head, pulling the covers back over my shoulder, letting out a sigh. I glanced out from under my pillow at Ed, whos beautiful hair shined in the morning light. I couldn't help but smile to myself, wishing I was in his warm arms...

Edward heard the shuffling just off to the side, and moaned in protest.
"Nuuuu..." He fussed.
"Not nowww....I'm not done dreaaaammmmiiinngggg.." But his eyes ignored him and cracked open to face the hidieous sunlight that streamed in on his face.
"Mmmph." He growled into his pillow.
"Great...morning already? Where does the night go?"

I giggled to myself, still, my head under the pillow and replied to him.
"Dreaming about what?"
I blinked slowly.
"You slept it away..."

He grinned over at Shiba's pillow head.
"Wouldn't you like to know." He grinned evilly and swung his legs over the side of the bed, jerking on his clothes though spitefully cursing the morning.
"Why can't someone cut the sun out for a few more minutes? Roy's going to think I actually got up on time this morning...Do you know how this is going to ruin my late reputation? He's going to expect this from me everytime we have to meet him."

I made a pout face and sat up, the blankets sliding to my waist, so I sat in only my bra.
"Aww come on, Ill pretend I didnt see what I did just see.." I winked at him, laughing and standing up myself and jumped into my jeans, yawning wide.
"We can be late if you want, but Im kinda eager to see what he has for us... plus you can blame it on me if you want to." I stuck my tongue out at him.

He turned a little pink as he zippered his pants, but chuckled nonetheless.
"You cannot tell me that you didn't enjoy it." He teased back.
He paused pulling on his coat and then nodded.
"You're right, I'm curious...It's a little odd that he'd keep something like this under his hat for so long don't you think?" He narrowed his eyes.
"I can't help but wonder what it is that he'd need us and that weird thing for......"

I turnt completely red and about faced, smiling to myself and covering my face to try to hide. I tried to hold in my giggles, but failed as they erupted in my throat. I didnt reply to that remark...
I shrugged, after calming, and pulled on my shirt and my glasses. I then pulled my brush from my bag and went to the mirror.
"Hes probably been preparing it for a long time, and was waiting for the right moment... whatever it is, he needs us for it and Im well prepared for it!"
I sighed and handed him the brush when i finished.
"here, I know you still dont own one..."

He smiled and shrugged.
"Alright, I can take a hint." He pulled out his band that tied his hair in back and set about the massive task of combing his hair....in between the mumbled curses and winces, he smiled at Shiba and nodded.
"I'm sure you are, you're bag seemed heavy enough that you'd be prepared for anything and everything."

I watched him and just smiled, watching him try to brush his hair.
"Ohh jeese, come here." I walked up behind him and took the brush from his hand and ran it though his hair, gently, but getting the knots out.
"My bag would be lighter if I got rid of all the money in there. Its heavy stuff..." I looked at him in the mirror and made sure not to miss any spots on the top of his head, and even his bangs.

He grinned as she worked, still, on the occasion wincing a bit, and grinning all the while.
"Methinks the lady cares." He chuckled as she took care of his bangs.
"Why in the world do you want to carry so much with you? Don't you keep a bank account?"

[im not the girly type, i dont like to blow dry my hair or style it... i just get up, brush and go, I dont think the Shiba look, would look right on me. Im thin king of just short, but layered at the bottom.. BTW WHOOO PAGE 100!]



"I do care, alot. Your hair is simply beautiful... it rare these days to see boys with long hair. I... love it..." I ran my fingers though the silk of his hair and pressed my nose to the back of his head.
"And it always smells so good." I borught my hand around to his belly and slid it under his shirt.

"Well, I can think of a few reasons why." He started to count them off.
"1. Not as much hassle to deal with,
2. you don't have as many knots.
3...." Her hand hit his stomach and he trailed off.
"And then again...there's always the perks." He smiled tilting his head back.
"I missed you too." his head cocked to one side.
"Which one?" He looked a bit pensive.
"And do I want to remember?" He smiled.

I grinned, leaning my in on his shoulder, looking over at him.

"I'll be pretty disappointed if you wont remember..." I slid my hand up from my belly and onto his breast bone.
"Youre...so warm and silky...." I whispered into his ear. I nuzzled his lobe and closed my eyes softly.
"and that would be great if you showed me, it would get the weight from my bag..."
