He turned back with a smile and chuckled.
"A little..you?" He breathed deeply, and let out a yawn, denoting his still tired psyche.
It would be a while before Edward could rest easy again.
"You ready to go back out there? I'm sure that Roy's already pacing his floor wondering why we haven't found the Water Bug yet." He chuckled, thinking about normally calm, and collected Roy Mustang pacing around his desk was too funny.

[mine is lagging too...and mene didnt seem to want to come up. It kept telling me the server wad down >.>]

"I slept pretty good... felt really safe with you so close. The...soundest ive slept in a long time, I think." I admitted, sitting up.
"Ill be ready in a little bit... something tells me Kiri doesnt want to be found..." I sent hima glare.
"...and what did I tell you about calling her that?!" I growled looking to him, and stretching up my arms to crack.

((BOOOOO....*stabs compy again for good measure*))

He smiled.
"That's good." He rolled over to put his feet on the floor and he nodded.
"You and me both...at least not by any military personell."

He laughed looking back over his shoulder and he sighed.
"Alright, alright, fussy-pants, Kiri then."

[grrrr......i hate this new internet set up of his...it only works for like 5 mins then gopes down again!!!]

"Damn right" I said simply standing up.
"You need to use the bathroom? im gonna get a shower." I said, rummaging through my bag for some clean underwear, and my toothbrush, deodorant, and brush.

He shook his head.
"No, you go ahead, I can finish quickly once you get out." He flopped out his shirt and sighed....he was really missing his coat right about now.

I nodded and slipped into the bathroom, keeping the door d=cracked, just in case. I slid out of my pajamas and underwear and climbed into the large shower. i felt so small as I turned on the hot water. I would have invited him to join me, but I knew he'd say no, and Id just get sad. So I decided not, and let him take it upon himself if he wanted to come in, by leaving the door ajar.
The hotel soaps and shampoos were neatly on a rack. I washed and knew id be pocketing these after we were done here. The steam filled the bathroom as I showered the hot shower. The steam creeped out into the main room,, luring Edward inside....

Edward thought about going in...making some excuse or another just to be in there, and he almost convinced himself to, but he didn't want to complicate things....sleeping in the same bed hand been nice...but he doubted he was ready to just barg in on Shiba while she was in the bath....maybe...later. He grinned to himself and flopped back onto the bed, his shoes the only thing left. He laced them up and tied them in a knot, then moved to stare out the window...yesterday had been a bust...but maybe today....

[GLOMP Hey! Val is doing ok, she was transported to a rehab center to help her recover. she should be on the right medication now and on her way to recovery. How are you?]

After about 15 minutes of lathering, I figured he was not gonna show... again. A deeph sigh and I finished up, drying off and quickly dressing. I brushed my hair, then my teeth and came out.
"Ready?" I asked, as I slid on my glasses.
"Are you alright?" I asked, wlaking up to him.

((Yes! Awesome! I'm alright, a little bored, and frustrated, but that's normal for me in an Art Block.))

Edward had been lost in thought, going back over their route yesterday and thinking about all the places that they still hadn't looked when Shiba came out.
"Huh?" He started, then nodded.
"Me? Yeah I'm fine, just thinking....we don't have that much left...." He looked over.
"Want to start looking outside the city? We can drop off where we havn't looked with the Colonel and start looking somewhere else...we don't know if Kiri stayed inside the city last night or not, she might be miles ahead of us already."

[am...I making you bored...? If you dun wanna RP iss okay... why Art Block?]

I sighed and nodded.
"I know what you mean... Im so worried about her and Roy is gonna kill us if we don't find her..." I just then got an idea, slamming my hand into my palm.
"I know! You know how Tucker wants Nina revived? Maybe we should revive her for Roys experiments and he'll forget about Kiri? You think that will work? Or maybe hold him off for the time being...?

((NONONONO!! Not you XDD I've been this way for a few days, I'm bored with trying to think of something to do for DA. I've put up a few samples of my comic, and if you want I'll put them up on Flickr too XDD But I can't settle on a single comic to do...that's why I'm having that Art block))

Edward jumped as Shiba suddenly blurted out her plan.
"That....might work....at least to keep him occupied for another couple of weeks...." He sighed, his heart heavy....could he do it again? Could he forcibly revive a child?
"We could..." He started quietly.
"But.....Shiba.....should we? Should we revive Nina? I mean...look at how Kiri came out....i-if Nina..." He trailed off.

[YESH I WANNA SEE!!! You should be putting your stuff on Flickr for me to see.... >.> I no ever visit DA unless to steal pretty art for inspiration to remind me I suck, and load PS brushes.]

"Nina is the only other souless, lifeless body we know of that we can revive. Tucker will be happy, and so will Roy, hopefully. I know... that little girls fate. She deserves another chance at life... and maybe Tucker will give up on the military to be with her again... i just hope.. his appearance doesn't frighten her, or she doesn't think of the friend, her dog [forgot name] she lost..." I sighed, sitting down on the edge of the bed, looking to him.
"Its the only way to have Roy give us time without him bugging us all the time...."

((Totally went ahead and did it XDD I don't have much, just a lot of old crap. XDD You do that too?! XDD LOL))

Edward's head fell to his chest and he sighed....then nodded.
"Alright....we'll see what Roy thinks...after all....we'd have to let him know what we were going to do just to get near Nina...." He turned to look at Shiba, a sly smirk on his face.
"We'll just leave the bit about buying ourselves some time out of it."

I nodded and stood.
"Well then, should we get going? If we revive Nina, I know Ill be too exhausted to walk and we'll end up sleeping all day...again." I sighed.
I put out my hand to him.
"C'mon. lets go set ourselves free for a while..."

"Alright....let's do our best."

Outside of Roys office, i could hear him on the phone before I knocked.
"...Ill have to call you back. Yes... same here. take care." he hung up and yelled, "Come in." I opened the door slowly and was greeted with a friendly smile.
"Hello there Shiba. You find Kiri already?" he asked, sipping his fresh hot coffee.
I took a tighter hold of Ed's hand.
"Not exactly... but we have an offer for you..." I looked to Ed; he was better at this than I was.

((XDD Kewlie, I use my compy, I have Manga Studio 3.0 and I make the pages in that. Screentones come with the software so I throw them in there whenever I need them.))

Ed sighed, here they go again.
"Tucker was there when we revived Kiri, so how about this, we give you Nina for a while, while we search for Kiri, that way, whatever you were planning on doing before can be on schedule, and we won't have to worry about you breathing down our necks all the time."

[AHHH Manga studio. I wanna get the one version... e frontier manga studio ex 3.0... but its like 100$ and i gotta wait til i get settled into my new apt in september to even think about a thing like that to buy.]

He looked to him, then back to me as we stood in the doorway.
"close the door." I did as he said and looked back to him.
"You guys do realize I will not let up my search for Kiri, or my expierements. She and Nina are different... She was a homoncouls... Nina was a human. I will also not return your 200k or your freedom until she is returned to me."
I nodded, hiding my eyes under my bangs. Our life... would never get started until we found her... I fought back my tears... I tried so hard to be rid of the military and just...settle down in a home... but he had to go and tear it away from me, like candy from a child. It wasn't fair...

Edward sighed, rubbing his temples.
"I know that, WE know that, how can we forget with you reminding us every chance you get." He looked away.
"Still, we'll find her, we'll bring her back, don't you worry."

He slammed his hand down on his desk.
"EDWARD! I dont think you actually realize how serious this situation is! If that girl is a homoncouls, again, she is now on the loose. Not to mention, if she ever told anyone from the military she was revived in the military by alchemists, we could get in serious trouble. She was a TOP SECRET expierement that was not to escape, and after the experiments on her over, her memory of that time would be erased, thus making her safe to live in the community, like a normal human." he rubbed his eyes, leaning his elbows on the desk.
"Sir... I dont believe you realize what you are doing to her, and us... she is just a little girl, reborn itno this world with no family or friends.... she is scared and lost. And we are doing all we can to find her and make your ass happy. If you don want us to revive Nina to keep your face shut while we try to find Kiri just say so." I was pissed, my arms folded.
"It pisses me off that OUR lives have to be on hold while we look for your lab rat. Its not our fault she is afraid to come back here. While you go home to your snuggly Riza with dinner waiting on the table in your glorious military paid home. Makes me sick." I about faced.

Edward opened his mouth to say something....but Shiba got to it first.
He sat there smiling, nodding when he thought appropriate, and then sighed.
"Shiba's right, besides, Kiri's memories are coming back slowly, and surely, she knows things that a child her age really shouldn't know, she's not going to say anything that will endanger her..." He looked over.
"Or her sister, she's still fond of Shiba, if she doesn't adore her, unlike you, Kiri's going to withhold any information that might have repruccusions for Shiba." He shoved his hands in his pockets and smiled.
"And really, can you honestly blame us for your screw-up? This was your plan after all, in court I can just say that I was ordered into this mess, I had to think of my research, and Shiba...well, you really forced her into this as well, didn't he Shiba?"

Roys eyes widened and he stood up, slamming his hands down on his desk.
"THAT GIRL is too young to realize what she can and cannot say and who will expose what! Whos to say she wont spill it if shes tortured or to try to get me in trouble! As for Kiri being my screw up, she was not a screw up, she was a successful revival." He looked up and then to me.
"Im not telling you to put your lives on hold...."
I flashed an angry teal eye to him.
"But its damn well indicated by you paying for our hotel room, and taking back my 200k for our home, and start in life, and Eds freedom from the chain which binds him to your leash... you make me sick. Thats why I hate, and have always hated the military. People like you."

Edward sighed again, this was beginning to be too much. He turned and gripped Shiba's arm.
"There's no sense in argueing like this....he's given us his answer, let's just go and look for Kiri....she's gaining ground while we bicker." He looked back to the Colonel and smiled.
"As for your 'successful revival' I'll make sure to bring that up if we get arrested for this." He smiled and bowed out.
"Good Day Colonel, tell Lieutenant Hawkeye that I said hello."

[which leads me up to say this will be my last one...sorry. Im becoming a lightweight these days.. >,>]

I looked to Edward sternly.
"Fine...lets go. I said all I had to say to him."
Before Roy could even reply to us, we walked out, slamming the door behind us. I stamped through the hallway of Central.,
"That jerk.... always makes fun of you for being a 'kid' yet when you try to become an adult, he takes that away from you. He's an arrogant jerk. Im not all too thrilled that Kiri has been gone for this long either. I just wanna find her and go home. I hate central." I said, huffing and not at all in a good mood.

((Okay, I need to get off as well, Night!))

Edward smiled to himself, keeping his hand on Shiba's as they left. Then, there in the front of the building he stopped turning her around and kising her gently.
"There." He said after a moment.
"Now you're not so noisy." He kissed her again and headed off again.
"Don't worry about Roy....he's always like this, and I really can't blame you about Central...I'd much rather be back in Risembool than here."
