Its only been my first week at art college and already I couldn't wait for the weekend, terrible isn't it!
Unfortunately even though it is now the weekend i will still be at work for most of it serving hundreds of grumpy old people and screaming kids with frustrated parents *sighs*

So does anyone else have anything planned for the weekend?
Have you had a good / bad week?
What do you hate about work?

I work every weekend but my hubby and I are taking our 4 year old son to see his first Padres game on Saturday. He's been dying to see a real baseball game. My parents are going too so if the kid gets bored there will always be one of us that will be able to walk around with him and let the others watch the game.

Aww thats so sweet! I hope the day is a success and everything goes well, and besides if your son has been dying to see a game for ages he probably wont get bored! But i like the use of a back up plan :)

: O you go to art school? im so jealous. i just finished my second week of college at milwaukee school of engineering....it has no art at aaall -_- its so depressing. i need art. i came in knowing id transfer after the first year though. i cant wait

i cant believe its been 2 weeks already. it goes so fast. the schoolwork isnt hard yet either

what kind of job do you have?

Art college isn't all it's made out to be lol it's really exhausting but it will be nice to say that i earned an art diploma at the age of 19 by the end of it....well if i haven't become completely broke by then lol. Art college has only been going for a week for me so i hate to think what its gonna be like next week.

awww i hope your course gets more interesting....and if you still have no art involved I SAY DOODLE!!! lol doodling helped me survive A level english XD

I work in some tea rooms next to a National Trust Property so we get about 1000 visitors in a day. Its not too bad cooking, clearing stuff and serving people but its suprising how rude custiomers can be sometimes.

• Well it's already Saturday morning for me, and I wasted my Friday night. I was just too tired to actually get off my ass and pursue anything. I watched 9 episodes of a TV Series on DVD from midday onwards and that really would have to be the highlight of my day. Dx

  My friend wants to go to the beach on Sunday also so I'll see where that takes me! 8')

Oh wow a beach party!! Sound like you'll have a great time, unfortunately there aren't many beaches closed to where I live and besides its too cold lol. Although my friend did want me to go to a party tonight but i was just too tired and besides my friend hates the person who's party it is so i didn't think it was a good idea to go :?

I hope your day goes well though good luck with the shopping! i have to avoid shopping sprees for a while cause i can't afford it at the moment, bring on next month so i can get paid wooo!

• Ugh. Finally the weekend. I'm totally worn out, I just collapsed when I got home. And yesterday too. Fortunately I got off early and have most of today to relax...before tomorrow when I'm going to a party for my friend at Seaworld. Haha I've been so many times, the only thing that's making it fun this time is being around more friends and bringing some people that haven't gone before/in a long time so I can help show them around to what's fun.
  

haha yeah one of my friends was getting a lift back from college with a couple of our other mates and they were teasing him this morning cause he fell asleep in the car and started drooling.

OMG Seaworld I haven't been there for years!!! I hope you all have a great time though n_n

idk if i want to major in art...i just want to take classes even if i dont get a degree in the end

hehe, i nearly failed ap english casue i doodle and spend to much time online, looking at art etc

: / sounds dificult thats why i dont ever want to have a job in customer service, i cant stand to deal with complaining people esp rude ones

lol no i'm 18 and in college!

Awww i only just passed my english exam but that was because i had drawn memorable doodles next to some important parts of writing so i remembered them o.0

It can be annoying sometimes, once i was about to carry this really heavy tray away that i had just stacked with plates and cups ect and a guy walks behind me and goes
" are you sure you can manage that?"
I replyed with yeah, sure its not a problem to which he responded with
"lets see how well you cope if someone tickles you"
and grabbed my waist! :shock:

i just squeaked i was so shocked, fortunately one of the other guys who was helping with waitering managed to rescue me and grab the tray.

ooh its a 2 year degree, is it a minor in fine arts? or a specific field?...mabe ill try for an associates degree next year, idk

i did horrible in english casue im sooo slow at reading and writing. and the teacher made the class impossibly hard. he even said himself it would e harder than and course we ever take, even in college x_x

Monday - Worst day of the week. 4 more days until the weekend.
Tuesday - Okay day, 3 days left. Get out of school at noon the next day so that makes it better :3
Wednesday - Get out at noon so I'm happy about that xD
Thursday - The day after is friday, which is the last day, so that's good.
Friday - Last day!

I really like the weekend...

its basically a year building up a professional portfolio, but it gives us three months where we explore all varieties of art then go into our specialist grops, i'm hoping i'll be able to do illustartion.

Your English teacher sounds like a really nice person o.0

It probably was D : but i was to confused to do much about it, its not everyday you get grabbed by a random customer.
