Ugh! I have a cold that won't go away! Just wanted to whine about it and comiserate w/anyone else you may have a cold, the flu, or whatever.

i wish i could wallow with you to make you feel better, but i never get sick...my friends think its because i drink so much water or something...

i do have the sniffles though...

and im always thirsty...yea...thats it...=/

Don't worry, I'm sick right now as well. I can't breathe through my nose since my nose is all stuffed up, and if I breathe through my mouth, I just end up coughing up all the air. I can't get to sleep because I feel like I'm having an asthma attack, and if I try to blow my nose, I keep getting nosebleeds. D=

Aww, you poor dear! Try boiling some water in the kitchen to add some humidity to the room, or just make some tea or hot soup! If you're having trouble breathing, I suggest attacking the cold with one of the aforementioned remedies -- combined with a good night of sleep, they always work wonders for me. ^^

I have allergies so all year around I have the sniffles pretty much. I don’t really care any more since I don’t like taking medication for anything. What really sucks is when the fever comes in with it and the throwing up and all that.

I don't have a cold - but I have some fresh stitches in my arm that hurt/itch - and it's driving me crazy, and I can actually say I'm quite miserable at the moment.

I've had a bad cold all week. It's only now beginning to get better, a little bit at a time. I think it's because I haven't been getting any sleep lately. I got some bad news on Monday, so I barely slept for an hour that night and the next. Then I had morning crew practice at five am for the next few days. All of that equals one run-down body, and one very unhappy Knerd.

This weekend should clear things up for me. I've got nothing to do but sleep, finish up some homework, then go back to my warm and comfy bed.

i just had one recently that left me in bed with the chills >w< and then it took me out of school for 5 days !!!!

I have teh sniffles, too. T.T

Lots of people at my college seem to have a cold at the moment. Drink pleanty of warm drinks....like honey and lemon, that usually works. I hope you feel much better soon.

And if you're at home, wrap a throw blanket around you to keep warm, unless you're in bed. That helps from getting cold and stuff, but it's a lot more comfy than wearing layers and layers of clothing.

D= Ugh, I have a cold too. I blame one of my best friends... I don't know how it works out this way, but even though she lives 400 or something miles away, I still end up getting sick every time she gets sick.

People at my school has been sick with something and I either got what they got or just a cold.

Yes, I, too, am sick.
My throat hurts and my nasal passages are blocked and I feel as though I'm only moments away from coughing up blood.
I feel disgusting.

I suspect I might have a slight flu, but I hope it's just allergies. If I'm not sick, then I don't have to make up any schoolwork, miss any activities, and I can't get anyone else sick. I've been sneezing constantly for the past few days and have woken myself up with sneezing fits. Being sick is horrible, but allergies are almost as bad.

I don't have a cold right now (I think), but I've got awful allergies from never taking my Singulair. :roll: Bad me. To be fair, it didn't work when I WAS taking it.

Nope, only have bronchidus, or however you spell it. Not good with medical terms.

Get better though.

aww.. I feel so sad for you.... Well i dont know if i have a cold or was my house just freezing XD it was really cold... but now that I'm at my grandparents house it's really nice and warm here....

My prescription:
Plenty of time under the covers
Rest
Orange juice or chicken soup (I do both)
Goldfish crackers
and peace and quiet / cartoons/ comedy (depends on what type of person you are, lol)

Hope you feel better and have plenty of tissue boxes.

Oh, I'm not a doctor by the way... so I might be wrong, but this is stuff I always do to take care of myself when I'm sick. ;)

I don't get sick to easily, nor do I have allergies, but the oddest thing happened the other day. I ran three miles for cross country competition, and was fine. I played ultimate Frisbee with my team mates after, and It was like I had allergies or something, and we were in the same forest preserve for the 3 mile run, and Frisbee. It was weird cause I couldn't stop sneezing -.-"
