I've heard that.... And from what I've seen, it's true. :x I think that the St. Patrick's Day ones seem fairly rare, too... ('m glad I don't want those, too.)

I want all the items. The St. Patty's day set intimidates me as well. At least the V-day Items are still around in the Giving Back Auctions. Locating a seller for the St. Patty's items, on the other hand, is near impossible.

Maybe someone will give Aeris the St. Patty's day items to use??? :? ('s possible.) I'd like to get all of the V-Day items (most of them, anyway), and almost every hairpin....

Eventually, if I get everything else that I want (I'm so greedy), I might go looking for the St. Patrick's Day items, but they aren't as high on my quest list.

Maybe being on Menewsha this "early" (in its life) means that we'll get gold faster?

I got mine for around 200g.

xD Yeah, being on Mene early and stocking up on stuff means we'll be rich later on in life. But I'm not stocking up on rarities to sell them later. I want to use them.

The thing is, I want to get a ton of gold on Gaia.... But only to buy all of the items that I want, and missed out on by joining in '05. I see it as a means to an end, not the end itself. On here, I want to get a lot of gold to get every item that I want.... And later on, I don't see myself caring a lot about the gold as much as just the environment. (Although playing with the avatar will stay fun.)

@ Word - I don't really give a damn about Gaia. From what I've heard, it might have been my kind of site had it not gone downhill by the time I found it. And the ads are everywhere. I swear, if I see one more, I'll be tearing at my hair. Dx;

I joined a while ago.... Now I stay on it to stay in contact with the people I met there (which doesn't work so well when they're never on, either). Also, yeah. I told a friend I'd get her a Nitemare scarf--hugely expensive--and now I'm stuck until I do. D: I'd like to get some of the expensive items, and I don't mind staying to create pretty avatars, but as far as the people go.... Gaia kind of lost me at the 2%.

@ Wordstreamer: I'm a megalomaniac. I want to be insanely rich. Of course I don't think I'd care so much once I really was rich. I'd probably just gather it all together in a big room and swim in it Scrooge McDuck style.

The fact that Gaia didn't care at all about the movement against it? That pissed me off more.
The thing that makes me actually consider quitting is that I don't see any reason for the stuff they're doing.

The "gold sink", the Cash system, the new Cash cards, the new gold granting system, (I know we've had this conversation, but it's worth mentioning here) I can't see any reason for it, except to make gold worthless, and Cash and Donation Items the only way to build wealth, thus making it essentially a paysite.

but that's the end of my rant on Gaia because this isn't the place for discussing other sites.

@Allucard: Makes sense to me.... It just doesn't interest me as much as it does you. I think after I got everything I wanted, I'd hold a huge art contest. I'd do it on Gaia if I had the gold for it, and I'd definitely do it here, too.

@ Word - You and I see the same way. As soon as I get one of every item on the site, I'm gonna start saving up to add to my art collection!

I'm so impressed by the art I've seen here and on Gaia (some of it, anyway)... *wishes she were better at drawing*

And if I had my laptop here, I'd display the not-so-crappy avi art I recently did of Allucard's gaian avi and my Menewsha-Gaia-Zantarni hybrid avi (it has Mene hair, hairpin, collar, and balloon.... Gaia dark halo and forehead jewel.... And Zantarni heart-shaped mace. *loves on it*).

Ah..... That'd explain it. I don't listen to the radio.... I don't even have a radio in my room (mostly because I didn't want to bring mine up).

• Me either really. My girl was playing it at her house. I tend to just stick to my cd and mp3 collection, because I love music. Occasionally I'll pop on the alternative station, when I get sick of my cds, but I hate commercials and when they cut off the end of a song to talk about crap.

It's only back a couple of pages lol...and I'm sure it sucks anyway but I said I'd make you art. ^^;

I like internet radio... Fewer commercials (but just enough to make me angry).
