Hello, malkut. I like roleplaying sometime. I'm not sure how well I would do staying in character the whole time I was on a site.. hehe

That's somewhat how I am, nescia. Off and on RP is fine (I've done quite a bit in BC pets...), but I don't think I could keep it up.

I feel like the roleplays that I'm involved with on other sites have become quite redundant... So I'm not really in the mood for them anyomore either. xD

I have not had much of a conversation on Menewsha for quite a while...

Hopefully more people will be arround later on since no one seems to be on now.

  And I don't mind at all. It's nice to see some fresh blood around here. Not many new members make it over the Menewsha Nation. They usually don't go past the General Discussion, sometimes not even Fresh Meat. lol So it's always the same 10 or 15 people in here. And most of the older members stick to their little spots.

I've been trying to find where I fit in. I've startd a quest thread, a pet shop, and a tarot shop, but I've got the last post in them, and so I can't really post again for a bit. So I'm finding other places to spend my time chatting.

So far I've hit up the Life Issues forum...my undergrad degree was in psychology, so it's fun to try to help people. And I've been welcoming the fresh meet...but now it's all going stale. hehe.

  @malkut: Cool! I'm majoring in psychology myself. Where does your interest lie? :3 I'm awfully broad...I like social, child, evolutionary...*goes on and on* xD

I wanted to work with teenagers and young adults who were severely abnormal. My first roommate in college was schizophrenic and dissociative, with some of her alters being bipolar. Added to that she was a drug addict. She and those like her are the ones I wanted to work with.

Unfortunately, I got bogged down in the classes. When I did research on universities for my masters/ph.d. I found that most wanted research assistants...and research is not what I wanted to do. So instead I got a teaching Masters, and taught high school for two years and elementary for one. Now I'm studying to be a massage therapist. I'm finding that I'll actually be able to help out those I originally wanted to through massage therapy, and that there are some therapies that combine psychotherapy and touch/massage therapy to produce amazing results.

I drift between the different threads and forums on Mene a lot myself..

  Malkut, it took me a real long time to find a place to get cozy in on here. So, I just made my own thread. It was supposed to be just for nitetime users, but it's active all the time now. Usually.

Those metal fastener thingies are called hook and eye clasps. And they're evil!

I'd like my shops to become hang outs, but they haven't yet. I've found a home in a charity, but right now it's kinda dead.

Ah! Thanks for answering that. I was about to resort to looking it up online... I think I've heard that before..maybe..xD

Aww. I hope people chat in your shops more. I used to spend a lot of time in people's quest threads. I made one of my own, hoping that it would become a hang out, but it never really worked out..hehe
