Thats good to hear, I managed to turn in my programming project Thursday night so I get a nice weekend off before my next project/exam starts. Also figuring out how to celebrate Halloween, still have no costume ideas ^^;

Word. The computer is SUCH a big distraction for me. Especially when I'm writing essays. I can't not have AIM up, and I have to check it every time I wait for a page to load. It's a compulsive habit more than anything.

I also always have to have at least three tabs open in firefox, and they include (in this order): Gaia, Mene, Facebook. Sometimes Youtube, and sometimes photobucket.

Yes!! I knew I was addicted to Mene the day I joined. D:
I usually join avatar sites, and after a couple of hours I'm like "This is boring. Back to Gaia!" When I saw the ad for Mene on Tektek I came like, "Okay s'just another site I'll end up forgetting about" but no! I love it. <3 The avatars are so cute because of how complex they are.

Same here, I realized I was hooked when I started making a list of items I wanted. I never did that on any of the other avatar sites I was on but here I actually made a shop and quest thread. The avatars here are really nice, items are detailed and the no spamming is something I loved at Zantarni.

Yeah, I'm more than disappointed that I can't download the avatar creator, though. It makes getting an outfit that much more difficult. D:

I looked at Zantarni and didn't want to sign up. xD It looked WAY too complex for me.

EDIT: I also like the no spamming, and the no "bumping." It's nice to not have to see "GURLZ TRAPD IN DUNGEON BOYS COM LICK DEM" every five seconds.

I just like the avatars and cute items on Gaia. I'm a Casino regular, as well.

I'm mostly a CB-er, but I don't really post since all of the threads are just.. meh. I just lurk. It doesn't make for getting gold fast, but I look hella rich because I'm an oldbie and I have all the old items I got for dirt cheap when they came out.

It's so hard to be a newbie on Gaia, because all of the good items are older. It's really discouraging to see golden laurels and go "I think I'll quest for those!" and one day they're 1mil., the next day they're 1.6mil.

I was so pissed when they came out. I had gone on hiatus from Gaia for a few months (my computer was broke'd), and when I came back I saw them, and they were already up to 600k. >.<

That's okay, I now have two Mene tabs open: One for here, and one for browsing. I just check back to this one and refresh every once and awhile for quick replies. n.n

I'm thinking about going to bed soon, though. My basement is getting rather chilly, and my legs are falling asleep. Also I'm getting itchy. All telltale signs I'm ready to fall asleep. xD
