I'm going to read a part of it and read the rest over break; I think that I've already gotten to the most important part in the one book. (Hooray.)

Can't; I'm pretty sure that the three books I should read are about 800 pp apiece. D: I've got German. (Also, I'm not going to read them here; they require concentration. That's why I typically get on Mene at work; it requires less concentration.)

However, I have read other books that work equally well for the subject. So it's going to be alright. If nothing else, I get fantabulous new reading material out of it. :o That does make me happy.
