True. He said it has something to do with magetic forces messing with air currents and yadda yadda. Something like the bermuda triangle. I can even begin to try an explain it. My memory is too fuzzy to recall what he said about it.

But even so, he couldn't prove it. It's all theory. It sounded good, but seems highly unlikely for it make such shapes.

Some people seem to think it's a religious sign from a diety. I don't know where your faith lies, if anywhere, so don't be offended by that statement.

I believe in God, but I am not offended. I really don't believe any higher power would try to communicate in such a ridiculous way.

But you know it's like the big bang theory...it all sounds good on paper until you stop and ask yourself what was the catalyst?

Well, the big bang theory does sound good. Makes a lot of sense, but then it leaves you with that irritating question of 'WTF YOU DIDN'T ANSWER ANYTHING! WHAT MADE IT HAPPEN?'

I fluster myself, trying to think about things like that sometimes. Religious people always give me answers like 'God made it happen.' which.. is a good answer. Scientifically the way God created the universe works with the way science says evolution worked. But then I'm like 'who made God?'. I realize God always was.. such and such. But I can't imagine the idea of forever into the past. The lack of a real beginning. *exhausts himself*

Well that is the ultimate question. But that was what I meant, things don't spontaneously go boom, they need a catalyst.

It's almost 5am. Thoughts like that will keep me up to the point of where I won't even bother sleeping tonight. Heh. I'm 22 and have YEARS before I ever get answers to the big questions.

Any thoughts on the big boom going backwards? Supposedly the universe will expand, then pull back into itself.

I don't know about the pull back part. I know it's expanding.

My mind can't even imagine the distances of the universe. I get lost in words like 'lightyears' they used to say in highschool. Like so and so is this many lightyears away. I'd love to make a career in space exploration and study.

My parents always pushed me towards that kind thing as a kid. Even got to go to that spiffy NASA space camp. *nerd* But even though it's highly interesting to me, I don't think I'd have the mental capacity to figure out anything.
