Aaah. Yeah; that's a problem that I had when attempting to buy stuff. I think the problem is that most potential sellers realize that they can just put it into their own thread and get a TON of offers; they don't have to go into the buying threads.

I know, last week there were a ton of people selling, but now that I have the gold no one is selling.

What I dislike is when you offer in the first post, or put it in the title and they are like 'that's too low, offer more.' Hello?! If I was willing to pay more, it would say that. =)

That's irritating, too. I can understand if you say that you're willing to haggle... But they can't give a vague idea of what they'd LIKE to get? I mean, "offer more" is pretty loose. I could add 1g to the offer. :lol: I don't think that most would find that satisfactory, though.

Honestly, given that, you should just offer less than you're willing to pay to begin with. XP

Well see and that's the other thing if you offer too much then people yell at you for creating inflation. Or you want to buy something and then other people suddenly decide they have to have the thing you want, when you know they didn't want it until you did. There is no way to win.

I paid about 1K for mine (Phoenix)--back in November, I think. XP Whenever it was, the price guide still said that they were going for much less. It was ALSO the only one that I could remember seeing. A few weeks later, it seemed like everyone was selling them. -headdesk-
