I haven't chattered in this thread in a while, I've been making gold on fishing though, nearly 2,000 exp now. ^_^

@Jayms: Aww, well I hope things clear up soon. D: Floods are a pain, especially for transportation around here since busy roads sometimes close.

I know, but when you have zero gold it always seems like it takes forever to earn it. I know it won't be long..hopefully.

Until you catch fish at around 300EXP you will lose gold.
But once things pick up, you earn 100+g a day.

You don't start making a profit till around 420 experiance and you don't earn back all your losses till around 820 experiance points. It's not a very good game for the newbies. Then again, none of our games are T_T

Oh I know, It does seem like it takes forever, and of course when you're that low on gold you know no one so it's even worse! But don't worry, you'll get there soon.

Fishing is an investment, and as long as you can keep fishing, you'll earn more and more gold out of it.

Well I dropped like 60 gold in it last night. I think I was close to 100 exp..maybe. o:

I'd have to agree on that. I had the advantage of fishing for a bit before they put a limit on the exp. you received, so I rarely lose gold. But even when you have 8000xp, you don't earn tons each day, but it's enough that it's worth investing in.

I still haven't seen anything bigger than a Zapper. XD;

Oh you earn eventually it just takes time and you loose a lot before you start making any. I lost something like 400 gold before I started making it back. Now I'm turning a profit, but I must remember to bite whoever told me to try it.

I do have a question about fishing. If you catch something and throw it back does it give you a point back for that to let you try again or no?

There is no point in letting anything go.
Just keep it, and sell it afterwards.

Yeah, there's never any need to let it go, you just lose gold no matter what with that choice.
And since it's useless, you should just automatically get gold for whatever you catch.
