omg loveless >3< i love her characters' designs but somehow i lost interest in her plot/story T.T i even read up to vol. 2 of the manga and i couldnt take it anymore xD i had to have a reason why they could fight all magically xD

Loveless is wonderful, the anime is cute and sorta gave more recognizable hints as to the darker nature of the series and the deeper meaning of real names and the bonds these people share.

The manga is spectacular and as it goes on you get more and more of a slowly unfolding view of the overarching plot. damn thing still isn't done but at this point what has been revealed make everything make so much more sense. The manga is also more graphic you become very aware of how seriously messed up both sets of zero's are.

I see nothing wrong with young boys in bondage provided they are fictional ^-^

Ah, yes. The seiyuu. The seiyuu did not fit the main character very much, in my opinion. I feel that she is BEST suited for characters that have the 'bratty' feel to them. XD
(I was so used to that voice being on PoT's Ryoma everytime I hear him talk, my mind registered Ryoma's face instead. @[email protected]; )

BL manga (in series) eventually becomes more graphic if it does well. Even Fake. It had a somewhat interesting plot line but the style is a little too... xD;

Kyou kara maoh is soemwherehas 78 episodes and has an overarching plot that started at the beginning of the very first episodes.

It also has a third season being released in japan in april. Technically it's also a harem shonen ai but one cannot deny that there is a plot, although like all series there be filler shoved in there too.

Gravi.. ahh hell I love gravi but even I can see pwp moments in it.

pwp usaully reads as porn without plot to me but then again i'm attracted to higher rated fics so they pop up all the time.


correct seiyuu choice is important, also important is making sure they can voice different characters in different damn voices. I do not want all my characters to sound the same ( this goes for the english and the jap ty very much. Ranma and inuyasha should not sound the exact goddam same)



EDIT: yep wash your virginity is plain for all to see. what i really like though is the way they present the pairings and bonds. you cannot help who you are born to love it's inside you from the moment you are born. ( which with multiple sets of homosexual characters as well as straight ones it gets a nice message across)

meanwhile Ritsuka is fighting against that, not against love so much but fate and chains and proving that destiny in and of itself is not all it's cracked up to be.

I have read quite a collection of BL manga and series in my life in yaoi. I have to agree that there ARE series with plots. There were a few I enjoyed. I continued reading them till the end although I did not like the art style at all because the plot captivates me.

Kyou Kara Maou I watch not for the main pairing (too uke for my tastes) but because it was darned entertaining. XD

You are very right. It is also up to us readers to interpret the plot and make sense of the stories for our own. It could be taken many ways, not just on the surface. It just depends on whether we readers/watchers and fans wish to look into it, or not. ~_^

aww Wasa I'm just a big fangirl who likes to delve deeper into a show than just watching. makes me a geek in a way. on the other hand it allows me to be a panelist at conventions so I get free food and my registration back.

@Iro, KKM did have weird pairings Yuuri/wolfram is sorta wtf even if on his own I find wolfram to be be a. very awesome selfish snot.

Murata ( when not blond) really my favorite character and I love the flashbacks to the past about the daikenja and shinou, seeing how the nation was built was really interesting, plus know how long the various bloodlines have been alive is cool.

I'm sorta hoping season three will tell us about the girl he was. becuase we see stuff about julia but nothing about christine except that black doctor dude loved her. I want to know what she was like.

KKM was thrown to me (anime) by a friend. I have to admit, I never actually finished watching it. XD;

I didn't have an actual favourite for that series, but it was a nice series to watch. I don't watch anime often, so when I do, I ensure that I would enjoy it. Like that one Trigun series. ^_^

I sort of figured you were a fanfiction author. I have several friends who are, and they somehow have a style of chatting when talking about series they like or write about. xD;
