Sia, that's utter crap!

Mel, tuition only pays for so much of the salaries; a lot of it goes towards the general upkeep of the school. Faculty tend to be paid with grants and stuff, but if they have to take on extra courses or something, it has to come out of the budget, which also has to pay for the admin staff, and facilities and building maintenance and all sorts of other stuff.

Our department doesn't actually see any of the tuition from the classes we teach - the money goes to the college and University at large.

Each year we are given a budget and that includes money for teaching salaries, staff salary, PhD student salaries, MBA TA salaries, supplies, conference travel/ registration fees, and other general expenses.

The whole situation with the other department/ college is getting to be a huge pain in the butt. This other college is trying to push around my department and assign us tasks they don't have the right to assign - so we're currently fighting with them about work they tried to dump in my lap that is not part of my job/ responsibilities.

Hello everyone. I've been so busy today and I've also been surrounded by idiots on the other forum I belong to. Ugh. Mostly I've just been busy.

Smack them around Sia...always worked for me when people are too stupid to realize that you won't be walked all over. Too bad the moron in the office with me hasn't yet learned that just because she moves at a snail pace and can't get her work done, but I get mine done and have time spare means I want to help her get what should only take her a couple of hours to do. I'm all up for being a team player and helping out my fellow coworker, except when she constantly doesn't get her own work done and complains that she is over whelmed.

I know murder is wrong, but it might worth it this time.

Everything on how to submit their scores is posted in detail and even by their mods yet they still can't do it right or just don't do it at all. I can't wait until the fireworks hit tonight for some of the veteran players that haven't submitted scores.

very nice - I know I emailed a few people on my list who hadn't posted at all - 1 person quit and the other came in and got their 30 posts in a few hours and submitted scores.

Never heard from the other one :/

I'm actually very disappointed with how many no sends there are. 1/4 of the players. Not good.

Morning Roo!

I can't believe how many people just didn't send - I'm hoping most of them just didn't realize things had started and will come back and play.

That's pretty much what it is Meave.

Yeah, I'm so at a loss on what to do about sending people to the ship. Especially those that are veteran players.

I think I spelt the pet games wrong. XD I meant it to be 'pat' games, hmm... meaning just a game that only pats things?

wow, today I had make around 2 mistakes and I think 2 other clarifications. Does that mean the normal routine doesn't suit me? O_O
(Meavey change back to normal daily routine 3 days ago...)

Well it's not a petting game but I see what you mean now. It's more like taking care of them. Putting them to bed, outside, bathroom, feeding, cleaning up after them, playing with them, etc.
