Yes I've haggled before, and I didn't feel badly about it, mainly because no matter what the person sells it for, in most cases, they're making a decent profit off of what they charge for it. :)

Besides, buying in bulk helps :)

I love hats like that, but hats look awful on me so I never buy any. I did make a cat hat with ears, eyes, and a tail before, but I have no idea where that disappeared to. I also made a cat tail to wear just because I felt like being weird. I wore it to a few clubs. People’s reactions were funny as heck.

FUZZY HAT

I love those types of hats in comparison to baseball caps or whatnot. I think hats should be about the style and comfort (in this case, fuzzy is a definite plus, and the style is totally adorable). It's a shame though -- I don't have any fuzzy hats, much less any hats at all. They just don't appeal to me that much, I guess. XD

Your opinion on hats

I think they're a great accessory, but you wouldn't find me with one. I think my favorite hat by far though is beanies, or toques. They've always struck me as cozy and snug, plus the designs can be either simplistic or complex, yet they always add decoration to an outfit or your head, therefore making you look pretty doggone good. ;D

Have you haggled?

I think the only haggling I've ever done was on online sites such as here on Menewsha. Sites with fake money or gold where you can buy items are great haggling tools, I think, and it could help you learn to haggle smart in real life. Now, granted you don't buy a plain white t-shirt for 200 gold or whatever. . . But yeah, I think I got my haggling online streak from neopets, once upon a time.

Do you collect?

I collect, but it's mostly small stuff, not like hats. For instance, I love collecting bottle caps (from beers and what not), stamps, got milk? advertisements from magazines, and really adorable kitty cat figurines.

Have any eared hats?

I wanted an eared hat two Christmases ago, and alas, didn't get it as I had hoped I would. It's one of those that was mentioned in the beginning post -- they had a Kyo from Fruits Basket available (had the little angry anime emote on it, too -- precious). Also, Luna and Artemis kitty hats from Sailor Moon. I wanted a plain one -- fuzzy, colorful, but an eared hat nonetheless. I wonder if the same people I saw two years ago still make them. . .

I would so go for any of those.

I have an AFK hat from Gaia.
It's white, with little ears and eyes. On the sides, which are little flaps to cover ears, are pink hearts.
It's soft and like...awesome. X3;

Not to try and be rude but most all of those things you can get elsewhere for cheaper. I have been to a number of anime cons. All of which 90% of th vendors have items that I could buy cheaper then they are buying. *I however work for a company that sells wholesale*

Most of them do sell the items at a higher price because they expect people to want to haggle and if they allow a customer a cheaper price often the customer will buy more. Most people believe that you have to have a four to five times mark up to make it with your own business. However that is one of the biggest things that can kill a new personally owned business.

They best way I have seen to do it is having a two times too two and a half times mark up with a discount for quantity. However if you sell the items in quantity you will not make as much but the moving of merchandise is much better for a company then sitting on it for a long period of time. Basically its better to start out with a better price then have a higher price and haggle down to a price thats still high. . .

There's this girl that goes to my school that wears a white hat with cat ears. It's so cute.
I was going onto eBay to buy a bunch of hats from there, but they were really expensive with the shipping prices. I ended up not buying any.
Anyways, they were fix hats where the ears were really realistic. I loved them, but I didn't have enough at the time.

Genkihats! That's where I first got my hats (I own 4 from them!) I have the chobits pink bunny hat, the gaia catscratch hat (green so that the cat paws and scratches would be easily visible), a white kitty hat with the earflaps, and a custom made hat that actually became one of the regular hats that you can order (it's the white kitty hat with the large pink bows on either side of the ears. The design was from the anime Shuffle!)

I fell in love with those hats the moment I saw them, and I had to get them. I want to buy more cute hats really, but it's bad for my wallet. n_n;>

I wear my hats every so often to school, and people do stare (maybe even more so since I'm in college, lol). I've even received a lot of compliments to the hats I wear, which makes me feel proud to wear them for some reason. I like to wear them with some of my gosurori (gothic lolita) outfits too, which draws even more attention when I go to school. So if any of you are from Hawaii and got to UH, then I'm the one with the cat hats on every so often.

i just remembered that i have a white tiger hat and it still fits. xD <3
