Haha, more TB fans! I thought Morwyn and ShadowRayne were the only ones! >w<
Well, if anyone wants to read the Manga, it's on MangaFox, all the way to 39. I wish the rest would be put up, but then again, in America, TB is coming out quite swiftly. It's all I can do to keep getting all the books, but I have every single one.
All the manga currently out, the Anime Box Set, and all the light novels. :yes: I consider myself quite the nerd...
And OMG, Abel is the BEST! He's gotta be the only main charrie I WAFF! So adorable, and yet so...complicated! Being a Crusnik already adds brownie points to his score, but that's obvious. Haha.
Nyuu....I want to rp as him in character sometime, rather than as a perversion of his personality for another rp...T^T

Trinity Blood is one of my favorite shows, i haven't gotten into the manga series yet, but it sounds just as interesting.
I just love Abel though he is favorite character and I just love his remarks to certain situations, and he definitely is not the kind of priest that i imagine.
I do find Ester annoying though, i really can't stand her just her personality, i think and she tries a little too hard to be like Abel.
That's my opinion though
Otherwise it is a great show and I can't wait to start reading the manga

I'm not looking forward to them finishing it, what was written by the original author before he did. I don't want it to end because I love the series so much. Ion has to be my absolute favourite character <3

I love Trinity Blood! I saw there are no more surviving threads on this topic, so I thought I'd start one :D
My friend came over to my house one day and brought the first two chapters of Trinity Blood, so fun! We stayed up till one in the morning watching Trinity Blood and other anime. She was right about saying Abel was a funny character XD It's cool how they use the same animation kind of like Courage the Cowardly Dog had. When you first see his wings I was like "OMG COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG ANIMATION!!!!" XD Anyways, my friend wants to get Chapter 3 soon to see what happens next. Chapter 2's end leaves you with a cliffhanger.
Haha, top of the food chain pplz...

Didnt know that theres another fan of Trinity Blood here :angel: its like so OMG! xD
Im sooooo in love in Trinity Blood abel nightroad is sooooo handsome and also to the other characters. the drawing was sooooo awesome like paradise kiss =3 but still Trinity Blood is more awesome :cool: the background the things in the animation was sooooo awesome its like you cannot see much anime like that in a century. of course every anime is awesome :angel:... the story is very fantasy and hard to think that a vampire would be a priest. and as i heard from others it was from a book? and i would like someday to might the author or the animator of Trinity Blood =3. and if that happen i would like to say "God, your sooo genuis and soo good to be true" . :angel: well, its nice that your friend influence you =3 keep on loving Trinity Blood.

Actually, not a vampire. But he does drink vampire's blood, but never does, and that's why he's so darn hungry all the time. XD I think the Wonderland episode was funny. Wendy, Peter, the Tinkerbell!? I laughed so hard at that, not very creative, but a really nice plot on it. :)

The manga is not the novel it was adapted from an honest to God book. That's what I really want I love the anime and manga, but there's alwayseems to be more in novels than in mangas. I want a translation of the original book.
BTW in the manga you get a better look at Cain and he is exactly like Abel. Just as Klutzy and cute. Some times Esther is so dense. I like Ashara she is the perfect match for Abel.

I love both the manga AND the novels. Although having done translation work for one of the online TB communities - I can tell you the translation work for the novels isn't that great. I did a whole sub-story by myself in one of the books, and when it finally came out in English, I picked up a copy to check my work. Some parts, I went 'oh, THAT's what that bit was aiming at...' and other parts I went - yikes, did you even TRY?
I have to say the manga is more personable, and gives most of the characters a little more humanity and humor. Manga Tres is soooo loveable, but in the novels he's portrayed more like what he is - a machine with issues. XD
I hesitate to tell people who've never read any of the manga or novels to watch the anime first. Seriously, the anime is GREAT.... IF you already know what's going on. Otherwise, it gets kind of confusing. My bff commented that it was like the story was hopping all over the place and I told him.... that's because it IS. >.>'

Most any place that sells a lot of manga should have the novels. I got mine at a bookstore in the mall near me. There's actually two parallel sets of novels, Reborn on Mars, and Rage Against the Moon. Let me check my bookshelf here *checks* ok, I have up to book 3 on each, which is 6 books so far. There might be a new one out, but I haven't checked recently.

Um. >.>' I think we may have some confusion here.
There's the manga. And there's the novels. There's no 'novel adaption of the manga'. If you have a plain book with very few illustrations, that IS the novel.
Amazon links -
Novel = here
Manga = here
Japanese Amazon
Novel = here
Manga = here
I have ALL of the original Japanese novels, and the artbooks, and most of the Japanese released manga. On top of that, I've got most of the English translations of the novels, which as I said before are mediocre quality translations. I swear I should just get my Japanese certifications and get a job translating.

Those are th graphic novels but I was sure I read somewhere that there is a classic style novel that they are all based on. The manga author/artist had talked with the original author before he died.

This is where the confusion sets in. Terminology at it's worst?
No, those ARE the novels that you speak of as being based on something else. The MANGA was based on the novels, after the author died.
The bound books of manga are by definition, the graphic novels, as they are novel lengh collections of the comic/manga stories. There's a difference between a Novel, and a Graphic Novel. Graphic novels, just by looking at the words, include.. well... graphics.
Here, read the Wiki - it summarizes anything I could say about it. The author is indeed dead, which means the story will most likely never be finished.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_Blood
(note that the real books are referred to as 'light novels' and you can follow the link to see what that means if you'd like - I also put in 'graphic novel' in the side search to reassure myself of my definition.)
Vampire Hunter D was also written in this size/style of novel before being turned into an animated movie, and recently rediscovered and made into a manga.

The thing that really got me interested in Trinity Blood was the outfits/costume design.
I've only seen the first couple episodes, but I would love to finish it one of these days.
From what I saw, it looked pretty good.
