I use Fire Fox. It is one of the easiest browsers to customize for better web surfing. There are a lot of themes and extensions to with the browser. I currently am using a XPS 200 Dell computer running Windows XP Media Center Edition.

I use firefox, and microsoft vista. That's the OS that came with my laptop. I prefer firefox because IE sometimes freezes on me when browsing. Also, I like how firefox allows you to restore previous sessions if your computer shuts down unexpectedly. Not to mention the 'No Scipt' add ons that firefox has...and spell checker/dictionary. :)

I use FireFox. It's adblocking program is better, as is their popup blocker. It's also more secure, and webpages look better in it. Plus, unlike Internet Explorer 7, tabbed browsing doesn't slow down the computer. :). Besides that, it also has skins, and an automatic spellchecker, AND allows my previous sessions to be restored if it crashes. I also can go back a page, and check what I previously wrote, without having to worry about losing everything if the page doesn't want to load properly. I used to use Internet Explorer, and I always hated it. XD. I used to have far too many windows open at once, it liked to crash a lot, and there were ads everywhere. I also used to get viruses and spyware a lot, even if I didn't download music or themes(I had no idea they carried that kind of thing at the time.) One day, I found out about FF, and I've never gone back to using it since. :)

At the moment I mostly use Firefox. It's very neat and comfortable.

I used Internet Explorer a lot too.

Before I used to always use IE because it came with my system and I was too lazy to switch to anything else. After lots of my friends began to tell me to use Firefox I switched and now I love it! Firefox has many features that IE didn't and it seems to load pages faster for me.

I use Firefox and can't stand when I'm forced to use IE.

As for my OS, it's Vista because that's what came with my laptop. I know, it's a horrible OS, but I've gotten used to its inadequacies in the 6+ months I've had it.

I originally switched to Firefox because my IE randomly started deleting all of my bookmarks one day, but it didn't take long for me to see why everyone loves it so much. I adore how customizable it is, and some of the Add-ons are absolute must haves (AdBlock Plus, anyone?). And the added security is definitely not something to turn your nose up at.
I have to use IE at work, but I missed Firefox so much that I installed it on the company computer anyway. One day I'm going to change Firefox to the default browser and see if anyone notices, fufufu. >3

I'm a FireFox kind of girl.

I find it a lot easier to use. Internet Explorer used to be my main mode of transport, but it would annoy the hell out of me. It would kick me off pages and wouldn't save my bookmarks. It wouldn't remember my passwords for me, or even let me read the same page for more than a few minutes. I finally got so tired of it.

I use Firefox and I run Windows XP. I switched to Firefox a while ago, found it more stable than IE and
I love the tabs and how Firefox remembers your passwords.

As for Windows XP, I actually prefer Linux (OpenSUSE was the one I've used) however trying to make
various programs work was a hassle that I didn't want to deal with on a regular basis. Macs aren't
compatible with a lot of games and software that I have/need. And finally, Vista at the moment is a
piece of crap and I won't touch it until it gets a service pack of some sort.

I don't feel quite as dirty now :D

Another reason for posting is to check the spell checker... YAY there is an inbuilt spell checker, how neat!
It would be cooler if you could add words e.g. YAY isn't a word apparently :)

I'm still a bit rusty though, it's been quite a while since I've used firefox but it is more sleek in design. YAY for FireFox.

Anyone else use it, why do you use it?
Any IE lovers out there? Why do you choose to stay on IE?

Edit: Also, if you are a FF user, what theme are you using?

I'm using the default theme because I had to reinstall not to long ago.

By the way, Firefox 3 is supposed to come out pretty soon.

You can add words by right clicking and then clicking "Add to Dictionary" just like any other spell checker. >>;;

I noticed that later on :)
I don't know why it didn't show up the first time... maybe I missed the word :P

I did add YAY to my dictionary though heh... and heh for that matter :P

How is Firefox 3 Janelle?
I'm always a little cautious to try new things when they've just been released.
I like other people to test it all first :D

I use internet explorer but I was talking with a few friends and it seems i might be the only one that uses it sadly. T_T
I don't know but almost everyone says that mozilla is so much more awesome-er.
Internet Explorer I've been using forever so its no wonder that I stick with it. I think it works nicely especially those new multi-tab things but there are times i'll go to useing mozilla firefox. Mainyl b/c I heard its faster at downloads than the internet explorer.
I hear the new mozilla firefox 3 is really good though. What does everyone here think?

I have use Internet Explorer currently and running it on Vista.

Vista officially sucks but it is what came with my new laptop and it is tooo much work to have to back up everything and downgrade back to XP.

In the past I have used Netscape Navigator because it was what was available at work.

Never used Firefox but have heard good things about it.

Yeah, I love the internet Explorer spell checker. ^_^'
But then again I really don't use it much because I'm just THAT lazy. XD
Well I do. I recently actually upgraded my mozilla (I use both. Mozilla for downloading and stuff and internet explorer on the side sometimes).
But so far I actually like mozilla. I'm using right now actually. Except I can't seem to find the spell checker for the latest one I've got. I must have done something wrong when downloading it maybe.

I am a proud Windows XP user :P
And I use Firefox cuz it totally owns IE, and it has a cooler name XD
But at the moment, my computer looks like a Mac, cuz I have a RocketDock, which is the thingy that a Mac has.
Hard to explain, but a very useful piece of equipment for me.

Windows XP. By force haha. Most shops seem to like "bundling" this OS along with any new PC or laptop so it's not like I had a choice (I'll still pay the same amount anyway with or without it so I'd rather have it then).

I all but forgot IE by this time. The versatility of Firefox is just amazing. And they thought IE was gonna be king forever huh?

*is not sure if she replied to this yet* I use Firefox, that's what I am using to be on currently. I did use Internet Explorer, before that we had Netscape, after an issue I had with IE, I was converted to Firefox.
