  I had little to no problem with my tongue swelling up when I got it pierced. All of my friends who also had theirs pierced were jealous because I could talk and eat on the first day.
  

Haha yeah seems you were lucky indeed. I know for sure it was the least painful peircing for myself. But yeah guess the strong ones can handle it afterwards! :!:

They're now (in this order): 8g, 10g, 12g.
I think the 12g hurt the worst, since it was my third hole.
It also bled the most, seeing as how it was the only one that did bleed D:

They're 'horns'. Metal thingies that look all funny. Tribal-like.

I really wanna pierce the upper part of my left ear. I almost did it this summer, but then my mother said no. ...and since I wasn't eighteen, I couldn't do anything about it.

...I also want to pierce the middle part of my ear that's closest to my face. ...I don't really know how to describe it. It goes through cartallidge and looks painful. But I want one. *_*

...I also wouldn't mind a belly button piercing, but I think that would be kinda pointless for me as I wouldn't exactly ever show it off.

But I am determined to get the first two piercings! ...my mother may just kill me when I come home for christmas. ^^;

I actually want a corset piercing going up my side. I'd never get it, it's to much work and I'm starting to feel to old for it, but that doesnt' mean I still wouldn't like it done.

Right now I've got a side labret (left) and right nostril piercing, as well as two regular old ear piercings. I've been thinking of stretching my bottom holes and maybe getting my ears pierced some more (I've wanted an industrial for years), but tbh I'm more focused on getting my tattoos these days :3 One down, many more to go~

For years I've only had three lobe piercings in each ear. I've tried three times to have cartilage piercings, but each time they just never healed, so I took them out. About 2 weeks ago, I went and got an industrial in my right ear, and I'm hoping that it'll be okay sinc eI had it done at a piercing parlor and not with a gun like I did with the previous cartilage piercings.

I also once had my eyebrow done, but it wouldn't move for cleaning, so I decided it was better to take it out than be in that kind of pain.

i wouldn't mind get some more piercings in my ears, but that's about it xD i'm more a fan of tattoos myself, though i have yet to aquire any xD

i want a piercing but i know the long term effects and dont want anything other than my ears pierced

For a long time I wanted my belly button pierced, but it was so much trouble to take care of, and then I discovered tattoos and would rather spend my money on those.

Wow....I just realized my earring isn't in. I don't know how long it's been out either...possibly months =[

Those are supposed to be only temporary, like for a fetish convention or something.
If you left them in any longer you, like, wouldnt be able to move. o_O;

ive got about 11 piersings all in the same area due to an operation i had as a kid and the stiching whent wrong.

its also left that area scared so its a bit embaresting when i get into bed with some one.

and no im not saying were they are as its too embaresing but i think you may be able to guess.

What long term effects? The only long term effect you get, really, is a scar that (depending on what piercing/the way your body/face is shaped) is barely even noticeable.

I only have pierced ears, but recently, I'm not sure why I've really wanted to get a lip ring...and I'm not punkish or anything (not that only punk people get lip rings)

But I think it would look HOT...I'm actually kind of pretty but...w/e. I like piercings. But am too afraid to get them. D:

I pierced my nose when I was a teen. But when I put the ring in I decided it looked to stupid and let it grow up. I was using an ear stud for it and it poked out way to much.

I want to get my ears pierced, but I don't have the courage. On a scale of 1-10, I say it'd hit an 11 in pain. And there's no way I'd ever pierce something myself. o_O; Sounds painful enough the way the pros do it, forget the unexperienced me shoving a sharp object in my ear and hoping it hit right.
