I love Pizza Hut. But anyway, that would get irritating. I'd hate to get calls like that, especially if it was early in the morning.

usually it doesn't come in the morning, but right around dinner time, which makes sense. that is incredibly annoying when you're sitting down to eat, and have to endure someone else's food cravings.

If someone is calling you during dinner, just don't answer it. That's what we do.

i would, but it could be my grandparents, who usually call around that time, and they throw a fit if we don't answer the phone when they call. (yes, i adore my grandparents, but they worry way too much when the phone isn't answered right away)

it also could be from a friend, or somebody else i know that keeps different eating hours. if it is from them, i simply explain that i'm sitting down to eat and i'll call them later, but i do at least like to answer the phone to let them know that i'm going to keep in touch with them.

i'm also on call for my job, so simply not answering the phone isn't an option because of that either.

I don't like leaving messages. I find it a waste of time. The people I call... when I call them, I need them immediately.

But on my cellphone, I have this random jerk stalker. This person keeps calling me. Calls me 11x per day. And it's not an automatic dialer, because I hear the television in the background, and people talking. I"ve tried yelling at the person, I"ve tried waiting, I've tried calmly asking who it is.
They hang up within 10 seconds.

I am going to get one of those police tracers. So that I could come to their house.
With a brick.
And be like: "Why the hell are you calling me??? Esp. 11x per day, day and night???
Stopit, or else."

Or... I guess I could just call sprint. ^^;
That's good too.

>__<

I hate people who I ALWAYS can't reach.

But I"m guilty of never turning on my phone.
It's such a hassle to recharge it, and I have to do it every day.

I need a new phone.
My friends have said that my phone is.... it has seen better days.
And it has.
Oh dear. T___T

Why yes. Yes I do like bananas. xD

But really.

The other day I was sitting on the couch watching TV and my phone rang. I didnt recognize the number but I was of course really curious. So I answered it. And the woman on the phone copped this horrible attitude with me. Like I had done something wrong. She was like. WHO is this? With a haughty drawl and stuff.

By that time I was very sorry I had even picked up. xD So I told her my name in a very confused slow manner. So she was like. I must have the wrong number. And just hung up.

Then she called right back.

She's been calling my phone for the past few days.

Its very irritating accutally. xD

D: If they don't leave a message, then I don't call them back.

I have had people call my cellphone and ask if I called them.

The most depressing thing is that I don't even really get that many calls for me on my cellphone.
"Is John around you? Can I talk to him?"
"Is Becca there?"

A while back, some guy left about 6 messages on my phone for his wife. Weirdly enough, my answering machine at the time was a friend of mine, and I, talking.
I've also gotten wrong-number messages from moms picking up they're kids at school or something saying "Honey, I'm here, where are you? Call me."

My brother once kept getting called by this guy asking when he wanted his pool installed. Either it was a bad prank, or that guy couldn't dial a phone to save his life because my brother had to tell him he had the wrong number around 8 times.

I don't usually get many phone calls, but lately I have been receiving quite a few.
Most of them are from numbers I don't recognize or are "restricted". I don't like to answer my cell if I don't recognize the number or don't know who is calling me. What is really annoying though, is that most of them don't leave messages. The people who do leave messages on the other hand, usually don't say what there name is. I'd call them back, but I don't like calling strangers.

What about you guys?
Do people you don't know call you?
Do you hate it when people don't leave messages?
Or when they leave strange messages?
Or do you leave odd messages? D:
Should I change my cell number?
Do you like bananas? : D

I never get any calls like that. :o I don't like speaking on phones.

You should change your number.

I like getting weird messages xD. I mean, I wouldn't like something threatening or obscene, but if someone left a random message, I'd be amused. I usually don't leave messages unless I need to, but then again my number doesn't come up as unknown, so a person would be able to recognize it/call me back if they had a caller ID. I'm just really bad at leaving messages (once I forgot my name trying to leave one!) and I usually just call the person back again later. I don't ever leave an odd message though, because I don't know whether the person I'm calling is the only one that's going to get it, and I don't want them to get in trouble with a family member or have their family member thinking I'm strange xD.

I hate using the phone, though. I suppose it's kind of weird for a teenage girl in this day and age not to like talking on the phone, but I just don't. I'm really bad at talking if I have to think on my feet, and I hate having to stop everything I'm doing and hold the phone while someone prattles on to me, especially when they just want to talk about the most random and pointless things @[email protected] I never call anyone unless I have to, and I like phone calls to be short, precise, and functional. I know it's a little bad, but when someone does call me just to talk, I'm usually hoping something will happen that will require me to get off, because the people who call me like to talk for hours and hours, and it's rude of me to do something else at the same time as I'm on the phone, but even ruder to say, "I'm sorry, it's been an hour and I'm bored of you, so I'm going to go."

If someone I don't know calls me, whether it bothers me depends. Besides my dislike of using the phone, I don't mind it too much, if the person is short and precise. If it's a wrong number and that's cleared up, I will get annoyed if they try to continue to talk to me. I've actually had someone call back and ask how old my aunt was after they got our number by accident (some stupid teenage boy, sounded like). Her answer was, "Too old for you." She then informed them we have caller ID, and called them back just to prove it. They didn't call again after that xD. If it's a telemarketer, I will simply hang up. I afford them no politeness. If the person actually needs something legitimate but I don't know them, I'll be polite and put up with it, but I won't have fun doing it.

What about you guys?
I don't have a cell. D:
BUT theres this phyco lady my dad met over eBay who calls twice every night in search of my dad, and when shes lucky enough to catch him, she talks non-stop for over 4 hours. 3 hours at minimum. And my dad doesn't even say a word, theres been numerous times where he has put the phone down while she was talking to make a sandwhich, handed to phone to me, let me listen to her for about 2 minutes just to hear her, then put the phone back to his ear and she was still talking. Even when he says "Got to go now, Bye" she'll continue on with something. She's also made and sent us boxes and boxes of homemade sweets PLUS she made us 300 dollar blankets to match our rooms, plus one for the family room plus one for my grandmother. Mind you, he's never met her. She lives miles and miles away...
Do people you don't know call you?
Not me personally, but we do tend to get those annoying phone calls where you say "Hello?" and nobody answers afterwards and you just end up hanging up the phone again. Plus we get messages on our phone that are just plain silence, which is creepy. O.O
Do you hate it when people don't leave messages?
Eh. not really. Nobody really calls me anyways so if they don't leave a message its not a big concern of mine. :3 (Nerd 8D FTW!!)
Or when they leave strange messages?
Like I said - they leave 3 minute messages of silence. O.o;;
Either that or the whole message is just beeping. :/
We get those alot..
Or do you leave odd messages? D:
Haha! Man do I suck at leaving messages..
This is what mine usually sound like:
"Hi, Mae, wanna catch a movie? Call me back!"
then I realize I hadn't said who I was so I leave another message:
"Oh, this is Danielle by the way, er, I mean, the message before this was me too..call me!"
Then I realize I hadn't left my number:
"Heey...its me again, I forgot to leave my number its ---------- kay? Its Danielle."
And ocasionally I do something very stupid; I leave the message stating who I am and my number, but after I hang up I ask myself
"Wait..Did I say who I was..?" D:
My memmory sucks. >.>
Should I change my cell number?
PFT. NO. Dont let those things get to you! You shouldn't have to change your cell number because of those lame-assed phone calls. >.>
Do you like bananas? : D
DO I EVER! 8D
Have one once a day. ^^

I normally don't answer the phone, except for my cell phone, and even then I don't get many wrong numbers. I have gotten a lot of spam calls, saying like your eligible to win such and such, all you have to do to is such and such. But I just ignore them.

I would be a little ticked off at that point.
I don't have unlimited texts.

So I would have text him back and told him he has the wrong number!

My mother's phone number is apparently VERY similar to a nearby dentist's office or something. Like, only a number off. So for a while she kept getting alot of calls for the office.
I've also received quite a few people calling whom I don't know. Sometimes I pick up, and sometimes I don't. Normally it's just someone looking for someone else, so I tell them they have the wrong number, and say bye.
And the people who I don't recognize that I don't pick up never leave messages. So I assume they got to my voice mail and realized they had the wrong number and hung up. *shrug*

One time, we got repeated calls from another family in Spanish. x__x;;
It went on for a long time. Until I learned how to tell them they had the wrong number in Spanish.

Ugh. I HATE calling people I don't know! More importantly, I'm scared of using the phone. Like: I call my friend, and his DAD picks up. It's so embarassing!
[>.> Slightly off topic. >.<]

Um, I get a few wrong numbers sometimes, but nothing big..

I had the most interesting time when I first got my cell phone. Even though my voicemail box said "You've reached -my name-, please leave a message" this guy would constantly call and say "Hey John, this is Mike..." it was like "Did you not hear my voicemail message?!" So yeah, when I finally did get him on the phone and my voice answered he still asked for John and I finally told him that he had the wrong number and those calls stopped.

Though, I also had a while where one of my mom's friends would call me ALL the time. So I stopped answering private numbers and got a lot of weird messages.
